Welcome!

Nancy Pelosi seems to be getting angry!

Big Al
November 28, 2017

Excelsior; Professor; Ebolan; and, Mr. Irish. I apologize for posting this as I know that you are major supporters of Mrs. Pelosi. But, you know our philosophy is to look at all sides of every story!

Here is a transcript of the contentious November 27 exchange:

10:46 AM ET

(…)

CHUCK TODD: Leader Pelosi, unfortunately for time, I’ve got to end it there. I appreciate you coming on.

NANCY PELOSI: You mean we’re not even going to talk about taxes? See, you have fallen into the place where they are doing something that’s going to increase the debt enormously.

TODD: I’ve been covering it a lot.

PELOSI: It’s going to be a job killer and it’s going to raise taxes on the middle class. And that is – has a big impact on the individual lives of all Americans. And really we should be spending more time on that.

TODD: Do you think this other issue isn’t as serious as taxes?

PELOSI: I think it’s – look, as a woman, mother of four daughters, I think it’s enormously important. But I think that we have to have a balance in how we go forward because –

TODD: Trust me, I struggle with this myself every day.

PELOSI: This is giving them cover. There are so many reasons that we should be concerned about the Republican majority in Congress.

TODD: I am going to be asking a Republican across the aisle some of these questions in a few minutes. Anyway, Leader Pelosi, I have to leave it there. I appreciate it.

PELOSI: That’s disappointing.

TODD: I wish I had more time. I’m always for more –

PELOSI: Let me just say one more thing.

TODD: Go to my bosses, ask for two hours, I’ll take it.

PELOSI: I want to thank our firefighters and our first responders in California for what they did in the fires. Our Thanksgiving is – we prayed for them as a blessing to us. Wishing their families the best.

TODD: A worthy last word. Thank you very much.

PELOSI: Thank you.

Haha! Good one Big Al. 🙂

She gives me the creeps, and is so inconsistent and misguided, that I don’t know how she has stayed in that role for as long as she has.

Nancy Pelosi Pass the Bill to find out what’s in it:

Sadly, so many of the current and past politicians are a reflection of our society, we get what we deserve when we vote for people who are less than desirable as our representatives.

We should expect more than what we are getting, but that can only be when the citizens stand up, get to know the candidates and the important issues facing us, then vote for individuals who exemplify the highest moral and ethical standards and who are willing to stand up for the principles of the constitution.

Otherwise, we will continue to get what we have now.

      Nov 28, 2017 28:26 AM

      So true, Pardu.

As my research continues into the past presidents and other politicians, I will be editorializing on this subject directly because it is so true!

      Nov 28, 2017 28:07 AM

I am not sure we voted for many of the HOLD ON POLITICIANS…….with all the Corporation money backing them…..The Party tells everyone who is running……..

        Nov 28, 2017 28:05 PM

Pretty bad situation all around, Jerry

      Nov 28, 2017 28:08 AM

Since 1987 she has represented the City of San Francisco, one of the whackiest districts in the country.

        Nov 28, 2017 28:06 PM

And, now one of the physically dirtiest cities in America with more aggressive panhandlers that I have ever seen. We have friends down there and do not visit anymore.

      Nov 28, 2017 28:25 AM

      Great point Pardu.

        Nov 28, 2017 28:44 AM

However, I don’t believe voting for a certain political party or a person to be the savior will ever work. Public officials being less that desirable in character, and in the policies they enact, has been a blight on humanity and cesspool for a very long time. It has been with us since ancient times.

        “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

The truth is that we simply need a lot less government. We’ll be just fine without governement oversight of every single area of life, less government mandates on personal or moral issues, less areas the Federal government should have departments/lobbyist/parasites involved, and the best way to fix the debt issue is to get rid of most of the government workers in the giant pulsating growing government lard pit.

Every person alive inherently knows right from wrong, and doesn’t need a bloated & debt-ridden government to hire throngs of government employees to hold clubs over everyone’s heads. Reduce the swamp down to a puddle, put in term limits and if people really want to “serve” then they get 2-4 years, then they’re out. Come in, work on a few key ideas or initiatives, then pass the torch. No more lifetime politicians. Be in the world not of it.

The mind-numb politicians will not save you or your community. It comes down to radical self-reliance, and personal accountability. People will be just fine if most of the government goes bye-bye and only need for government is essential areas like national defense (not offense) and international trade and infrastructure. The rest of societies needs can be handled at the state level or simply with people deciding on their own how to interact with their fellow citizens.

          Nov 28, 2017 28:09 PM

My research, so far anyway, indicates that you are absolutely correct. I particularly like your comment about “radical self-reliance, and personal accountability. This is so true, Excelsior!

            Nov 28, 2017 28:23 PM

Thanks Big Al. We live in an age where everyone wants someone else or something else to save their rear ends, when in the end it is up to each one of us to be self-reliant and accountable for our own thoughts and actions.

People that want more laws, more oversight and regulation, just create more of a prison of rules, a larger government, and more lawyers. It is totally unnecessary when people start realizing that they need to be the change they want to see in the world. Nobody is going to save their hind ends, they have to do it on their own.

An interesting analogy is how different Hurricane Katrina was (where everyone sat around in rising waters waiting for the government to save them; versus the one in Houston this year where people started cooperating with each other, and saving their own communities. What a different mindset and obviously different results.

            Nov 28, 2017 28:38 PM

Rather than playing the “blame game” of it ‘s the Democrats fault, or Republicans fault, or Obama’s fault, or Trump’s fault, or white men’s fault, or Mexican immigrant’s fault, or the Muslim’s fault, or on and on……. it is much better to just start living the way one feels is in alignment with their higher selves. The best medicine for society is for citizens to start treating their friends, families, neighbors, and community in a manner that taps into their greatest collaborative good.

Rather than worrying about what the next “boogey man” or corrupt government agency will do next,, just start living the way that is more conscious on the micro level, and it will naturally have ripples though people on the macro level.

That doesn’t mean we can’t be critical or learn from the mistakes of the past, or that we should sit idly by if others are being harmful, but it is far more constructive to put one’s energy on what they want to attract, rather that only focusing on only the problems.

As a good friend of mine always says: “It’s OK to look at the past, just don’t stare.”

Focus on the now, and the future will take care of itself. It’s fine to set goals and make plans, as that is setting one’s sail for direction, but don’t get so hung up on the destination. Life is a loving vibration into making known the unknow, and like listening or dancing to great music, people should spend their time swinging with it.

      Nov 28, 2017 28:41 PM

Agree with the lack of character in our politicians. Get out your wallet as no matter which bad tax plan is passed, the middle class and poor will transfer more wealth to the “chosen” elites.

Lot of them out there, Irish!

I watched the video Franky and the city mentioned is actually not in Arizona but in the middle of the desert in Nevada in the middle of mining country. I actually stayed there at the Mizpah Casino. (Run down but very friendly)

If you notice towards the end of the gal’s commentary, she obviously infers that this aggressive action on the part of North Korea has significantly increased during the Trump administration.

The next accusation will be that the current administration has, in fact, taken the world into a war.

        Nov 28, 2017 28:38 PM

I didn’t listen to the video.I saw the headline and posted it so we could hear the Presidents response.
During the afternoon I scan the news media. Real time events are pertinent. The commentary and stories are someone’s agenda. Not mine.

Speaking of Saudi Arabia, there’s this:

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2016-05-30/the-untold-story-behind-saudi-arabia-s-41-year-u-s-debt-secret

The beginnings of this country’s financial problems, including inflation, the recessions of 1974 and 1980, and the ’70’s boom in the price of gold.

      Nov 28, 2017 28:07 PM

      Dave:
We sold our soul to Saudi Arabia alright.Everybody full knew well that in the Quran it says marrying nine year old girls and consummating the marriage is ok.
I’ve been taking a lot of heat here for being a Christian. I can take more.

        Nov 28, 2017 28:21 PM

What everybody didn’t know, or chose to ignore, is how dependent this country is on imported oil. Currently 40-45% of the crude oil consumed is imported. Leading up to the meltdown of 2007-08, imported oil was approaching 70% of the total. We became so dependent by gorging on the glut of oil from wells in the Persian Gulf area coming on line in the 1960’s. The Saudis got their noses out of joint first by the US going off the gold standard in 1971, then US support of Israel in the Yom Kippur war of October, 1973. By then Saudi Arabia was the kingpin of OPEC, and was able to get all the other member countries in line to pull off the Oil Embargo, from November, 1973 to April, 1974.

          Nov 28, 2017 28:33 PM

Things are really crazy. I use to watch Foreign Bond levels. They hid the Saudi situation as long as they could. People finally caught on to the amount of Treasuries the Saudis actually have.
I don’t know if there is any truth to it,but I’ve heard the U.S Treasury is using this as it’s Exchange Stabilization Fund.
A lot of people don’t realize the Saudi connection to Gold either.
I know Gold Companies are sponsors here so I don’t talk about it out of respect for Al and Cory.

          Nov 28, 2017 28:02 PM

And lets not forget G.W putting Saudi’s on a plane to Saudi Arabia two days after 9/11.
And what does President Trump do? Sell them more weapons.
And people have the gall to say ,what does it matter?

    Nov 28, 2017 28:07 PM

    knew full well

      Nov 28, 2017 28:03 PM

The fact and figures have been out there for over 44 year for anyone who wants to do the math and connect the dots. Many in the ’70’s simply said “The energy crisis is a hoax!” and went back smoking or snorting whatever they were smoking or snorting. Politicians since then have been afraid to bring up the subject of a National Energy Policy for fear of getting voted out of office, or losing an election.

    Nov 28, 2017 28:31 PM

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer conspicuously absent from the Trump briefing.

    Nov 28, 2017 28:12 PM

The day of The American Empire is quickly coming to an end. Americans still haven’t addressed the suffering they have inflicted on other people. The Vietnamese lost many more people than The Americans, their suffering is many times greater than The US. They still must deal with unexploded bombs dropped from the air and land mines left behind. Much of their soil is polluted by agent orange and chemicals like napalm.

The US continues to wage war all around the globe and continues to ask it’s citizens to contribute money for their wounded warriors. Why doesn’t the US government look after it’s own.

The end is near when countries like North Korea have nuclear weapons that can inflict misery on the US homeland. That will be the turning point when America realizes they must now fight a war where their civilians are casualties. DT

DT……….you sound like Tokyo Rose………..with your first sentences ….. 🙂

        Nov 29, 2017 29:24 AM
