Recapping the Year For Osisko Gold Royalties

November 29, 2017

When assessing the health of the overall resource sector I find it valuable to chat with analysts, newsletter writers, investors, and some of the top companies and groups. One group that has really impressed me throughout the bear market and over the past couple years with the sector recovering is the Osisko group. Whether you follow all of the Osisko companies or just one this group is building and investing in some of the best exploration through advanced development companies.

Vincent Metcalfe, VP of Investor Relations at Osisko Gold Royalties and CFO of Falco Resources joins me to review what the overall Osisko group has done this year and its growth focus for next year. We discuss the major drill program for Osisko Mining, the investments made and sold this year, plus some of the newer companies that the Osisko group is involved in.

Please email me with any questions you have for the Osisko group and I will be sure to follow up with Vincent.

And yet, many other line items did see a downward revision, which means that something had to increase sharply to compensate for the downward revisions among other spending components. Sure enough, something did: the old faithful “plug” which has saved the US economy every quarter for the past 4 years: Healthcare, or as it is better known, Obamacare, because with Trump failing to repeal Obama’s signature health law, it means that Healthcare will merrily “contribute to GDP” for years to come, by being the single biggest marginal spending item for the foreseeable future.

Gold teeth are much better than toxic mercury-silver filled teeth.
All my molars have gold caps now. I love OR and own several thousand shares which I plan to hold for years.

Cory – Thanks for the interview with Vincent on the activities of the Osisko Group.

I agree that they are are quality company with a talented technical and financial team, and many of the companies that they have taken in a stake in are solid.

For example I was very pleased to see them take a strategic investment stake in (MAI) (VGMTF) Minera Alamos.
