John Kaiser joins me today to recap the recent news releases from both Novo Resources and Garibaldi Resources last week. The stock of both companies dropped on the news releases but John’s comments regarding Novo and the miss understanding of the news should be noted.

Off topic: I think we’ve got a decent bounce starting now…

Does anyone have information on how many ounces of gold nuggets have been dug up by Karratha fossickers? I seemed to have heard some 500,000 ounces over past 15 months. Or was it 50,000 ounces?

Oil is flat yet xop went up 3% over excitement about the Opec meeting. I sold out 2 days ago and missed an additional 8000 gain. I took some more gains today on ACB at 7.30 having loaded up too much this week and big gains on Tuesday at 7.90.
Oil appears to be in a downtrend on the 1 hour chart and I have been waiting for a correction to near 55.50.

Bob Moriarity, not that he believes it, said John Kaiser estimated there could be 20 billion oz of gold in Wits2. Let’s be very conservative and say Novo has only 7.5 billion oz. That’s 50 oz gold per share, worth $100 per oz. So ea share is worth 5k now. but maybe 50K when gold goes to 10K/oz in this decade. So I ain’t selling for less than 5K per share!!! As Jerry Lee Lewis said, “Where would love be without fools like me?”

      Nov 30, 2017 30:09 AM

      👍

      Nov 30, 2017 30:21 AM

That is for entire Pilbara region. Novo owns about 10% of the land. So using lower estimate of 2 billion ounce, Novo could own 200 million ounces. One ounce of gold per diluted share. $100 per Novo share? Sounds great to me!

      Nov 30, 2017 30:41 AM

Saying Karratha might have 20 billion ounces when there has only been one trench is beyond irresponsible. Hell might freeze over but it’s a bad bet.

Kaiser is still wrapped up in thinking that you have to measure the gold and that’s pretty stupid. The Romans and Spanish didn’t drill, they just mined. This is simple. Go mine, it’s cheaper by far.

I would like to see mining start at different ends of the property, which might allow a better valuation sooner.

          CFS:

That is exactly what you will see. The Pilbara Sisters will realize it’s far cheaper to mine than to measure. If you want to know the grade of the gold, ask the accountant, he will have all the numbers.

        Nov 30, 2017 30:12 AM

Hi Bob, do you have any estimate of how many ounces of gold nuggets have been dug up by fossickers? Thanks.

          Dec 01, 2017 01:19 AM

          JL:

The numbers were crazy. We saw a maybe 200 meter shallow pit where the roads dept had blasted and carved out some gravel for road work. Someone found some gold in gravel on the road, went back to where the material had come from and a couple of guys took metal detectors to the shallow pit and took out 3000 ounces in a weekend.

The locals are taking out more gold than I have ever seen at any project. No one other than the local gold buyer could say but I saw his display of samples for sale and bought some. He was handing out plates of gold like they were chunks of candy. If I had wanted, I could have pocketed ounces of gold and he wouldn’t have known. But he didn’t care, he had so much of it.

When people are that casual about gold, there must be plenty of it. John Campbell showed a picture of gold he found at Comet Well on one weekend recently and it was a lot.

When De Grey or one of the PB sisters comes up with two ounce gold 135 km away, the market is going to light up. The inability to measure the gold is manna from heaven because it forces you to think differently.

            Dec 01, 2017 01:56 AM

Thanks Bob. With the amount of gold nuggets already found ( by manual digging! ) I am guessing that Novo can produce 1 million ounces per year in not too distant future. If so, Novo stock can go up 10 fold from the current level. That is not a bad return for holding it for a few years!!

            Dec 01, 2017 01:32 AM

            ditto………thanks……..appreciate …………OOTB

        Nov 30, 2017 30:15 PM

Agreed Bob M. If they just started mining it (rather than debating all the different exploration methods or doing hundreds of trenching exercises), then they’d be able to earn while they learn. 😉

Seems like the fastest way to get a handle on what average grades they are looking at and if the gold is disseminated evenly, etc… They have already raised plenty of money to give it a go.

          EX:

JORC and 43-101 are a curse. They force the industry into thinking that counting ounces if more important that mining ounces and that is BS.

Mining is the art and science of extracting minerals from the ground at a profit. All else is nonsense.

      SN:

De Grey is a low risk play on the Karratha gold rush. They have 1.2 million ounces in their lunch bucket and are getting about $30 an ounce for it. Any of the sisters who haven’t immediately applied for a bulk tonnage permit are insane.

I’m going to climb way out on a limb here and suggest that there will be a meter of 2 ounce gold in the lower level of the conglomerates. The values are in the nuggets which were formed by gold coming out of precipitation when O2 was produced and the gold was attracted and combined with cyanobacteria colonies that had hairs coming out of them that made the gold halo.

Notice that none of the experts of the dozens on the chat boards have even tried to explain the gold halo. It came from the bacterial colonies hairs.

Pray for peace is an understatement imo.

Jay Taylor interviewed Chris Martenson, he explains well what most people havnt had a clue about concerning the Russian military.

Some american military people in high places have spoken out….to no avail of course, long story short…..we toast.

Russia’s military appears to take its job of defense very seriously.

The US MIIC, on the other hand, is riddled with traitors in positions of power, whose priority is furthering their career and filling their pockets.

If you watch Shark’s Tank, the sharks don’t care what they invest in as long as they make MONEY! Studying precious metal stocks is only important when it comes down to who has what. When I am investing I don’t want to see dead money, that is boring but if I can buy something where the herd is going, and trade in and out that to me is interesting. If the herd moves I will follow the psychology. DT
