Single payer you say? Well, her mother didn’t have a single prayer and she won’t either as she is in Commifornia and the Demonrats in that state are hell bent on single payer. The front runner for governor, Pretty Boy Newsome is all for it.

Why do you have the “Hottest Female Criminals” on your site? See the screen shot below. It is what I see when I bring up this page.

          It was possibly the X-44-A.

Currently Lockhead-Martin has 3 highly classified projects under way in that area of the country. It is unusual for them to operate openly in daytime, but they may be close to divulging one of the projects to the public.

Israel controls the US political system by recycling the money we hand them for weapons. Congress has no more ethics than does Trump. They are all whores who sold the American people out. They aren’t siding with Israel, Israel owns them.

Al, do the UFO’s control Israel or vice versa? And why is this night different from all other nights? Remember to put some lamb’s blood on your front door tonight as the Angel of Death is coming to every house to take the eldest son.

    Mar 29, 2018 29:06 PM

Big Al, when you stated that too many people in our country are stupid, I believe it would be better stated that they are ignorant, meaning that they don’t know enough about the issue to be an informed voter. Too many in our country know more about the trivial and things of little import and not enough about basic economics, accurate history, critical thought, etc.

Frederick Bastiat once opined that humans are pain avoiders and if they can get what they want at someone else’s expense, they will. If we add that human tendency to general ignorance of basic facts and principles, it is a recipe for disaster in the society.

It is too easy to vote for politicians who promise utopia and free services for all than to take personal responsibility for one’s needs. The sad thing is that was is promised can never be attained and the ignorant don’t know that, or if they do, they don’t care.

If wishes were horses we would all ride!

    Why don’t people face it.
The simple fact is: Best healthcare and government single payer system are mutually incompatible.
Sally Pipes should recognize the FACT that long waits are a way of controlling COST.

Privatizing the VA system might improve service and even cut cost, BUT IT IS STILL NOT AFFORDABLE UNIVERSALLY.
Sorry to “shout”, but wanting universal healthcare, does not mean it is affordable.

I have experienced healthcare in the UK and US first hand and I know the US system delivers the better care, if you can afford it. I further know that because the UK health system is “free”, it is abused by stupid people who want a free treatment for every little thing. It is only creating a “wait” that relieves the stupidity.

Interesting that Israel uses their F35 “Adir” (Mighty one) aircraft.

I thought they only had 9 of them (as of beginning of this year)

I don’t think they have the capability to knock out the Iranian Nuke research, by air attack. (Even if the U.S. sold the big bunker buster bombs, Israel does not have delivery capability.)

You could knock out the Iranian nuclear weapons program with a mosquito armed with a fart because there is no Iranian nuclear weapons program. But you knew that.

And the only country in the Middle East armed with nuclear weapons is of course Israel. But you knew that and just hope that the rest of the board is too stupid to understand who you troll for.

The US has a law called the Symington Act that prohibits giving foreign aid to countries who are nuclear armed but refuse to abide by the NPT.

    Meanwhile underwater:
WASHINGTON (AP) — Russian ships are skulking around underwater communications cables, causing the U.S. and its allies to worry the Kremlin might be taking information warfare to new depths.

Is Moscow interested in cutting or tapping the cables? Does it want the West to worry it might? Is there a more innocent explanation? Unsurprisingly, Russia isn’t saying.
But whatever Moscow’s intentions, U.S. and Western officials are increasingly troubled by their rival’s interest in the 400 fiber-optic cables that carry most of world’s calls, emails and texts, as well as $10 trillion worth of daily financial transactions.

“We’ve seen activity in the Russian navy, and particularly undersea in their submarine activity, that we haven’t seen since the ’80s,” Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti, commander of the U.S. European Command, told Congress this month.

Without undersea cables, a bank in Asian countries couldn’t send money to Saudi Arabia to pay for oil. U.S. military leaders would struggle to communicate with troops fighting extremists in Afghanistan and the Middle East. A student in Europe wouldn’t be able to Skype his parents in the United States.
All this information is transmitted along tiny glass fibers encased in undersea cables that, in some cases, are little bigger than a garden hose. All told, there are 620,000 miles of fiber-optic cable running under the sea, enough to loop around the earth nearly 25 times.
Most lines are owned by private telecommunications companies, including giants like Google and Microsoft. Their locations are easily identified on public maps, with swirling lines that look like spaghetti. While cutting one cable might have limited impact, severing several simultaneously or at choke points could cause a major outage.

The Russians “are doing their homework and, in the event of a crisis or conflict with them, they might do rotten things to us,” said Michael Kofman, a Russian military expert at nonprofit research group CNA Corp.

It’s not Moscow’s warfighting ships and submarines that are making NATO and U.S. officials uneasy. It’s Russia’s Main Directorate of Deep Sea Research, whose specialized surface ships, submarines, underwater drones and mini subs conduct reconnaissance, underwater salvage and other work.

One ship run by the directorate is the Yantar. It’s a modest, 354-foot oceanographic vessel that holds a crew of about 60. It most recently was off South America’s coast helping Argentina search for a lost submarine.

Parlamentskaya Gazeta, the Russian parliament’s publication, last October said the Yantar has equipment “designed for deep-sea tracking” and “connecting to top-secret communication cables.” The publication said that in September 2015, the Yantar was near Kings Bay, Georgia, home to a U.S. submarine base, “collecting information about the equipment on American submarines, including underwater sensors and the unified (U.S. military) information network.” Rossiya, a Russian state TV network, has said the Yantar can not only connect to top-secret cables, but could cut them and “jam underwater sensors.”

    Only in California!

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles judge has determined that coffee companies must carry an ominous cancer warning label because of a chemical produced in the roasting process.
Superior Court Judge Elihu Berle said Wednesday that Starbucks and other companies failed to show that benefits from drinking coffee outweighed any risks. He ruled in an earlier phase of trial that companies hadn’t shown the threat from the chemical was insignificant.
The Council for Education and Research on Toxics, a nonprofit group, sued Starbucks and 90 other companies under a state law that requires warnings on a wide range of chemicals that can cause cancer. One is acrylamide, a carcinogen present in coffee.
“Defendants failed to satisfy their burden of proving … that consumption of coffee confers a benefit to human health,” Berle wrote in his proposed ruling.

          The Chemical Facts:
Start with the biggest known risk factor for cancer — smoking — which generates acrylamide , among other chemicals.
In the diet, French fries, potato chips, crackers, cookies, cereal and other high-carbohydrate foods contain it as a byproduct of roasting, baking, toasting or frying.
Food and Drug Administration tests of acrylamide levels found they ranged from 175 to 351 parts per billion for six brands of coffee tested; the highest was for one type of decaf coffee crystals.
By comparison, French fries at one fast food chain ranged from 117 to 313 parts per billion, depending on the location tested. Some commercial fries had more than 1,000 ppb.
Even some baby foods contain acrylamide, such as teething biscuits and crackers. One brand of organic sweet potatoes tested as having 121 parts per billion.

          WHAT’S THE RISK?
The “probable” or “likely” carcinogen label is based on studies of animals given high levels of acrylamide in drinking water. But people and rodents absorb the chemical at different rates and metabolize it differently, so its relevance to human health is unknown.
A group of 23 scientists convened by the WHO’s cancer agency in 2016 looked at coffee — not acrylamide directly — and decided coffee was unlikely to cause breast, prostate or pancreatic cancer, and that it seemed to lower the risks for liver and uterine cancers. Evidence was inadequate to determine its effect on dozens of other cancer types.

    Mar 30, 2018 30:59 AM

Just some thoughts: Sally waves a broad brush when talking about the VA Med. system. I’ve used the VA for 11 years now and I”m more impressed with my PA that I see annually than all the damn doctors I’ve ever seen in my life. True, the VA is swamped with too much supply of old patients. So……….why don’t we quit making veterans? Don’t forget, all Veterans also are covered with Medicare when they reach 65 so many of us have in a sense, double coverage. I’ve got an advantage plan and at least 1/2 of the years I’ve had it have never billed anything against it.
The real problem as I see it is that many of us don’t take care of our selves in our younger life and eventually life catches up with us and we need all the expensive care but can’t pay for it. I don’t know if there is a good answer for everyone. Probably not.

I think the problem is cost-benefit ratio.
Personally I want the best care available and damn the cost….but I can afford to pay for it.
When my aches and pains of old age grow worse and I’m tired of life, perhaps I won’t care and will accept an average standard of care. Until then, the standard of care in England was not acceptable to me.

CFS, this argument, while common, is a red herring.

Prior to the 20th century most people died of infectious disease and occupational accidents. Now those ailments have been replaced with chronic degenerative disease resulting from lifestyle.

In prior centuries those who did not succumb to infection or accident lived long healthy lives without the degenerative issues.

Now we can have the best of both worlds.

Which is very much not in the interest of the pharmaceutical and insurance industries, as well as many other industries that benefit from the current state of affairs, like the agrochemical, petroleum, grocers association, etc.

Also, a population fatigued and weakened by chronic degenerative disease is more easily manipulated by the minuscule minority that rules over us, both because they are broke, and because they are less resistant to mental manipulation.

It would also be a huge blow against the globalists, who want us eating their garbage food out of their hands. A few companies control the world grain supply, for instance.

Globalists also = bankers, while medical bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy, and presumably therefore one of the largest if not the largest sources of personal debt.

The founder of “Christian” Gnosticism was Valentinus, who was born in Carthage about 100 A.D. He became connected with the Christian church. After almost being elected Bishop of Rome (i.e.: pope) he drifted into open heresy. Apparently he was a poet; some have credited him with authorship of the earliest version of the poetical Gnostic homily Gospel of Truth. Desiring to present apostolic authority for his teaching (without which he knew Christians would ignore him), he claimed that he had received instruction from a follower of Paul named Theodas or Theudas. Even if this Theodas really had been a follower of Paul, it would not validate Valentinus’ teaching, for we know that some followers of Paul fell away, for he and other apostles warn of those who shipwrecked their faith and of wolves in sheep’s clothing who will come among them. With the deaths of the apostles and their immediate successors, falsehood found it easier to take root. There were no eyewitnesses left to repudiate false claims.

A simple reply, would be found in scripture
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

      Alexandria
lot of cosmopolitan Alexandrians of the time, worshipped the Greek gods too. Philo believed that the two worlds were not irreconciliable and the Logos was his attempt at melding Yahwism with the Greek vision of God. The Greeks, armed with the powerful philosophy of Plato, and later Aristotle, believed that God was inherently “unknowable.” He was beyond human understanding and all attempts to describe God would end in failure. However, a glimpse of God could be attained through rational thinking and deep meditation. If one could achieve the Hermetic level of mystical awareness as chronicled in the Poimandres, one will be able to experience God.

      Mar 30, 2018 30:50 PM

Gnosticism was largely an attack on historical Christianity or an attempt to infiltrate or undermine it. Gnostics quoted from or alluded to most of the writings which entered our New Testament and wrote in opposition to them or distorted them. In order to entice Christians into accepting their books, Gnostics made out that the books were written by apostles or other famous figures from the Gospels and Acts. In other words, they forged them. No major scholar of any persuasion that I know of accepts that any of them were written by those whom they name as authors.

    CFS
    Mar 30, 2018 30:40 PM

    gnosticism pre-dates Christianity.
    Christ was a gnostic.
It was the early Church that changed things.
Early Christianity believed in equality of the sexes for example.
(There were actually more female Christian teachers than males for almost the first 300 years of Christianity.)
Early Gnostics were much more tolerant than Christians later became.
It was Gnosticism that produce the duality of Christian beliefs and the Holy Ghost concept, that was different from Judaism.

Modern Gnosticism is NOT like early Gnosticism, and I personally think modern Gnosticism has got it wrong.
    Q was a Gnostic book.

Early equals approx pre-Constantine, although there was not uniformity throughout the early church.

Tolerant means accepting of the right of others to have different beliefs.

” However, a glimpse of God could be attained through rational thinking and deep meditation.” was precisely a Gnostic belief.

The Beatitudes came out of a Sumerian religious system.

If Christianity not changed from the Gnostic Christian religion we would not have had the Spanish Inquisition and burning at the stake, etc.
Probably still would have had the Crusades.

But then it is also possible Christianity would have died out by now.

      Mar 30, 2018 30:24 PM

Would this be a meaning for the term Gnostic…….no trick question here, just want to get a starting point…….
First we must define what a genuine Gnostic is. The word comes from ancient Greek (Gnosis), and means Divine (i.e. Mystical / Spiritual) ‘experiential’ KNOWLEDGE of God (i.e. the “Supreme Power”, or the “ALL”). Thus a genuine Gnostic is one who has such “first-hand” Divine KNOWLEDGE of God (N.B. NOT mere ‘beliefs’, traditions, dogmas, and ‘theories’!).

        Mar 30, 2018 30:00 PM

I was using the term Gnostic to refer to one who was a follower of the Gnostic religion at the time of Christ.
Not the modern definition you gave.
Modern Gnostics follow a pan-religious belief system which somehow tries to encompass teachings of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism Hinduism and others.

The original Greek word gamma, nju, omega, sigma, eta means knowledge or knowing.

The Gnostic religion was one that was accepting of known facts, or knowledge.

5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

My Analysis of the propaganda TV show called ‘House’
Note: The surviving 6 mass media mega corporations benefit immensely by programming entertaining propaganda shows enforcing the alleged value of their largest advertising clients the pharma corps…..
The propaganda show House was used to promote the intrinsic value of the M..D….The MD MUST maintain credibility or faith and confidence would be shattered amoung the beleivers…This can never happen…The pills and proceedures of the giant ponsy scam must be sold by loveable although flawed but deeply commited practisors of the medical illusion…..The MD after all is the front man in the grand threatre….MD is the voice of control and reason in the Truman Show….The father, the mother ,the priest the ,intellect ,the good, the conscience of the whole show…The behind the scenes army of soldiers depend on them and will punish defectors(another huge topic related to medical boards).

    Propaganda 402: graduate level/commercial grade
House has a two fold message
1)Each show necessarily addresses that continual crummy outcomes occur in the medical arena…..This tactic cleaverly gains viewership credibility points….The honesty of that obvious admission lowers the threshhold of believability for the remaining false messaging……Further the show continues on by Falsley attributing those crummy outcomes to crummy although deeply caring other MD operators so to speak….But then boom! in comes House…The quintessential operator…Fixes the mess and voila…….Order of the universe is once more re-established…..The viewership breaths a sigh of relief and believes anew…But House as a real world entitiy is simply pure TV propaganda and mythology….It is made up to be believable and is a lie a fabrication of all that is real…

You have just witnessed brilliant propagandists sleight of hand….Every doctor must employ the same standard of care , come to the same exact conclusions from the same case data and utilize the same code of billable proceedures…..The exact same pills, chemo, radiation, surgery……That was the whole point of medical training/conditioning..,,,A predictable stable reliable cohesive utilization of the Truman stage set…..A company,a a band of brothers and collegues in the same struggle …..That struggle is not about you,however..

    2) the TV show program has enforced and motivated the viewer each week to seek out more and more doctor care in a fantasy hunt for their House to save them…..The truth those propaganda producers are so brilliantly side stepping has been illustrated partially…Finding the right MD doctor in the real world is just pure patient projection….The problem that will Never be mentioned, is that find ing th right doctor is not even the issue at all….IT is rather about finding the right method……Allopathic medicine is the wrong method to prevent or cure any chronic disease ; which is destroying America……The ‘ Method’ Allopathic IS the commonality in all this failure regardless of the operator selling it….Actually, allopathic is the engine behind the disease patterns today….It undoubtedly provides the certain energy to propel the hapless victims accelerated continuation patern into premature health decline and oblivion….
Summary: House Corporate Tv propaganda show through sophisticated compeling imagry sells the public on the certainty that the lousy results they see all around need not occur to them..That those lousey results are not due to inherent allopathic deficiency failures but rather that there current practisor of allopathic method is a failure …….They need only find there own personal trusted House to believe in………

The method allopathic has destroyed the health and vitality of every nation it has been exported to…vast sums of money have been transferred and the endiginous natives have been trashed……extreme example are American indians
