Germany and Italy ‘ain’t’ playing the game. Brits and French likely will help if there’s some military action. Can’t see trump not doing anything. As he says, “We’ll see.”

      Yes, Silverdollar, we will see.

When you get up in the morning Al you should consider how to think of a world where you can forget about talking about conflict and start thinking about how you as a Christian can make this world a better place by focusing on how to get the American troops home from so many terrible hotspots that your government has led your country into. DT

      Mr.Tracy,

I happen to completely agree with you.

I would like to think that some of this commentary reaches new ears and that it might make a difference.

        Apr 12, 2018 12:52 PM

What is wrong with Americans that they can not say, “You know that this armistice that we signed with The North Koreans in 1953 is a bad thing. We have divided their country and failed to bring about a lasting peace. Would we want our country to be divided by a foreign power and dictated to.” That is a bad policy in so many respects that it should never have been affected or accepted. DT

Americans will learn to be more righteous if they face a showdown with The Russians in The Middle East. They have not learned how to be humble since The Great Depression.

Lip service from Big Al. I happen to completely agree with you! LOL! DT

    Russia aggressive with NATO????

      Apr 12, 2018 12:57 PM

Virginnprincr….I agree, Russia has “NOT” shown any aggressian towards anyone. But some people who know nothing about anything, would say so.

      Apr 13, 2018 13:45 AM

Holier-than-thou attitude. Also dangerous. When–after the groundwork laid by Reagan enabled this–Bush, Sr. and Gorbachev agreed on their grand deal to 1. reunify Germany and 2. essentially dissolve the old Soviet Union, part and parcel of that was that the US/NATO would have no territorial ambitions. No expansion. No encirclement of Russia.

Yet starting with Bill Clinton, every US president has gone back on that (or allowed same.) It’s NATO and the war hawks largely in the US that have been aggressive.

McKinney appears neither to be an honest broker, nor an impartial commentator.

I said before, Al might as well have Dick Cheney on here to talk “peace.”

I asked Mckinny how he sees Putin as aggressive in Crimea.
I took that one as it was top of the list.

I honustly want to understand thinking that could conclude Putin as aggressive.
I do hope he reponds, maybe he cant, I dunno.

I think we are seeing alota quacking/walking like ducks.

I disagree with Mr. McKinney with respect to Putin, being aggressive. I do not consider him aggressive unless pushed into it. To borrow Trump’s language, I believe Putin wants to make Russia great again. I believe Putin knows it cannot be great by wasting resources on unnecessary wars. It has to support Syria and Assad because it needs to retain its Mediterranean port.
If, as reported, there was direct communication between the Trump administration and Putin or Russian spokesman, I believe Trump will try to further develop better American-Russian relations.
Trump’s biggest concern must be Mueller and impeachment. I believe a majority of the senate would wish for Trump’s impeachment, and he will be impeached if there is the slightest cause found.
Mr. McKinney, I count at a minimum 5 renegade Republicans that would vote for impeachment or would abstain..

      Apr 12, 2018 12:17 PM

CFS…I also disagree with Mr Mc Kinney with respect to Putin being aggressive.
Of course Mr Mc Kenny could prove me wrong , by showing me just one occassion when Putin was aggressive………I await.

        Crimea
        Eastern Ukraine

TU 160 and Bear Bomber flights 200 ft above US Carriers in the Pacific
        Force introduction into Syria
Economic pressures on former Soviet Republics
        2008 Invasion of Georgia
Assassination of as many as 70 anti Putin Journalists
        Litvinenko Poisoning in 2006
Russia deep cover agent arrests in 2010 (exchanged for Skripal, under Mueller)
        Uranium market control attempts
        Funding Iranian Arms deals
        Bailing out Venezuela
Voting against investigation regime in Syria
        Vetoing any Sanctions against Syria
just a few of the public, clearly documented aggressive ones guys

But I agree, Mueller is the threat, along with Never Trumper’s who fear collapse of their corrupt system of privilege.

          Interesting list.
Putin aggressive in Crimea? ok, how so?
I ask honustly, how does a person conclude Putin was agressive in Crimea.

Remember, Crimea has been part of Russia since the 1700s, the Russians drove out the invading Germans in the 1940s
Russian troops have been stationed there since the 1700s except for the brief period of Germanys occupation.

the 1953 Kruschev deal was an administrative adjustment at a time when Ukraine was part of the USSR.
Ukraine was paid 93 million anually to administer.
(there is wording that can be misconstrude if a person wanted to)
A vote was taken by the people of Crimea as to remain part of Russia or not, surprisingly over 90% of the Crimean population voted to remain in Russia.

Maybe because they are Rusian speaking Rusians, just a thought.

So seriously, how does a person justify calling Putin aggressive when it comes to Crimea?
It was Cathrine the great that won it from the Ottomans and Stalin that drove the Germans out, not Putin, so, where was any aggression.

          What did I miss?

Lets begin there, just for fun.

Mr Mckinny, altho I see you as completely brainwashed, I do respect the belief you have that you defend your country.
I disagree that you have defended your country in th least, but thats a dif issue.

Please explain Putins aggression in Crimea.
          Thanks.

      CFS:

Trump is about to have his head handed to him on a platter. In a brilliant stroke, Mueller raided Cohen. A Federal Judge wrote a book called, “Three Felonies a Day” showing how perfectly innocent Americans commit an average of 3 felonies a day without knowing it.

      https://www.amazon.com/Three-Felonies-Day-Target-Innocent-ebook/dp/B00505UZ4G/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1523611887&sr=1-1&keywords=three+felonies+a+day

Cohen will be charged with a serious crime. It doesn’t matter if it’s true or not, prosecutors brag about the ability to convince a Grand Jury to charge ham sandwiches with felonies. Cohen most certainly will have lots to be charged with.

He has all the dirt on the Donald and will drop a dime on him in a New York minute. Trump either goes nuclear or goes under. Coups get messy and this one is about to get a lot messier.

Anyone who really wants to know what is going on needs to rent and watch three movies, “Wag the Dog,” “The Truman Show,” and “Charlie Wilson’s War.” Do that and everything happening will make perfect sense.

McKinney sounds like someone who graduated from boot camp last week and until the brain washing wears off and he learns to start asking questions, he will remain a basket case. He hasn’t learned a thing from the stupidity since 911.

        Apr 13, 2018 13:31 AM

Every twenty three minutes someone dies in the U.S from a Heroin overdose. Need I enlighten you to the fact that the U.S doesn’t produce any Heroin?

The original narrative for going into Afghanistan was to get Osama Bin Ladden.Remember?
Where are the arrests for those aiding and abetting the Hijackers while in the U.S?
What next? Are you going to tell me that 9/11 was done without any help?

For people interested in UK politics I think this is the end for Theresa May a) because the latest YouGov poll shows that the UK population by a factor of two to one do not want to get involved in military action and b) if Trump decides it ain’t worth the risk, then she looks like she’s been hung out to dry. Either way, I think her time has come. I would say that’s probably a good thing but also can’t see anyone of sufficient stature to replace her, so once again we will be drifting at the very time of the Brexit negotiations

    https://www.barchart.com/story/home/2592529/trump-flips-on-trade-pact-weighs-rejoining-pacific-rim-deal

He needs better analysis on the TPP treaty. In my opinion it is one-sided and detrimental to the U.S. It gives excessive powers to big international companies and detracts power from U.S. courts. As much as I may dislike U.S. courts, I consider the idea of giving power to international tribunals, with weighting equal per country, rather stupid. There are too many small Asian countries that could impose on the U.S. unacceptable conditions.

I am concerned about Sessions and Rosenstein.
Rosenstin has the power to act as acting Attorney General only with respect to matters involving Russian Collusion.
In giving Mueller the power to go after Cohen for election spending and bribery of The bimbo Stormy, Rosenstein clearly exceeded his power, usurping the power and duty of Sessions.
Sessions clearly should have stopped Rosenstein’s permission for Mueller to go fishing OFF THE TOPIC OF RUSSIAN COLLUSION.
Sessions was wrong. The judge that gave the search warrant was clearly in violation of Trump”s Constitutional rights. The client-Attorney privilege is a CLIENT PRIVILEGE, not an attorney privilege. We are about to have a Constitutional crisis, if Trump does not exercise his rights.
Trump is not getting good legal advice.

I believe the longer the delay before an attack is made, the more probable it is that it will be a NATO attack, involving USA, UK and France.
I don’t know what assets France has in the area, But the U.K. has an airbase on Akrotiri, Cyprus. The US has B-2s in Qatar, and USS Georgia submarine with Tomahawks (up to 155) in the Mediterranean. It used to have USS Cook, a destroyer, in the Black Sea, also equipped with Tomahawks. (it has 96 launch tubes, but not all tomahawks)
The Russians did shoot down an Israeli F16 in February, so I don’t know how far a US airstrike might stand off, but I suspect they will not encroach Syrian airspace.

    Apr 13, 2018 13:22 AM

Oh, boy. I’ll try once more to help you two understand where I’m (we’re?) coming from.

All of America’s wars start based on lies. Self-congratulatory chuckles and mis-construal of your opponents’ arguments notwithstanding, you two are uncritically, unknowingly swallowing and passing on any amount of highly dubious info (most likely lies), that are being spread by the warmongers. You don’t have to advocate war to be a useful dupe to the warmongers. If there isn’t a strike now, it may well be thanks to those who have debunked their lies.

Al, if you follow the conversation here at KER, a huge amount of time and effort is spent trying to separate fact from fiction. Obviously we do this because we do not trust the official narrative. How, then, could you expect a positive reaction to a CNN-type narrative that we spend so much time picking apart? ‘Listen to all sides’? Of course we’ve considered that view–it’s the mainstream narrative that we’ve all been spoon-fed forever, and some of us have rejected. On the other hand, I haven’t seen anything that makes me think you’ve really considered the perspective we offer.

This article by The Saker rebuts much of what Jim and Al are saying here and puts the current situation in what seems to me the proper perspective.

    http://www.unz.com/tsaker/what-price-for-collapse-of-the-empire/

Saying the reaction is based on personal dislike; misconstruing our arguments; backhandedly implying that we don’t love our country. Can you see, Al, that you are employing the same debate tactics as the iLLiberal Left? Even worse the pop-psychology line ‘I’m sorry you feel your country has failed you’ line from Jim to Robert. No. We are failing our country, and each other.

    GH
    Apr 13, 2018 13:24 AM

Yes, I am a ‘pacifist’, but I believe in self-defense, and I do believe that the US is in an existential war right now.

More than on the physical level, the war we are in must be fought on the mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. That is where we are being defeated.

Jim, if you want to step back from the trees and get a view of the forest, you might find this article useful for identifying the real enemy (without doing which, victory is impossible). Do you think those rotting the culture right out from under your feet while you’re overseas are Islamic terrorists? That’s not who owns Hollywood, the music industry, and our news media. It’s not who’s buried us in debt and financialized everything. The refugees inundating Europe as a result of our wars are Islamic, but it’s not Islamic terrorists that are ultimately responsible.

Can you entertain the possibility that those attacking our culture at home might also be behind all our problems in the Middle East?

    http://www.wnd.com/2007/05/41737/

If you can’t at least entertain that notion, so that reasonable dialogue is possible, then the impasse we’ve seen at KER this week can not be resolved. Something you may not appreciate is that all those of us who disagree with you, by FORCE, have had to entertain your perspective all our lives. Clearly it is a perspective we have rejected; not based on knee-jerk biases, but by extensive study to overcome the indoctrination that we all grew up with. So we understand your perspective very well. I don’t think you understand ours.

      Apr 13, 2018 13:44 AM

If you can’t at least entertain that notion, so that reasonable dialogue is possible, then the impasse we’ve seen at KER this week can not be resolved.

They are for interventionism and nation building. McKinney’s got a kid over their helping to prop up the puppet gooberment and he thinks it’s great. There’s a lot of “collateral damage,” i.e. innocent civilians getting killed by Ameroconned forces and he has no problem with that. Oh, he will tell you he’s not for it, but hey, you gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelette and besides anything to “keep the Homeland safe.” Gotta kill them tarrists as Dubya would say.

It seems some people have empire in their blood or at least once it gets the hook in them there is no convincing them otherwise no matter how absurd the Empire is. And with McKinney he’s spent his whole adult life as part of the MIC so he knows nothing else.

The only thing to stop this madness is the economic collapse of the Empire.

        GH
        Apr 13, 2018 13:07 PM

Tough to say what the motives are, Ebolan.

I know good people who think just like him, and are convinced it is ‘defense’.

Giving folks like Jim the benefit of the doubt, if you could ever get them pointed in the right direction, they would be great allies.

We’re going to have to get past a lot of misunderstanding and come together as a people if we want to defeat our real enemies.

But yes, with Al and Jim it’s ‘chipping away at the old block’. Energy is better spent sharing info with those who are confused but understand something is wrong and are open-mindedly trying to figure it out.

I learned long ago that Al suffers from cognitive dissonance and is a card-carrying member of the Head In Sand Society. For unrelated reasons, I have not bothered to listen to a single one of these many McKinney interviews. (Needless to say, I don’t regret that.)

The people in the US are certainly more brainwashed than the people in the Soviet Union. At least those people knew their gooberment was a corrupt piece of excrement and let it collapse. Not to say what replaced it was good but I’d bet the people of Russia are doing better now than they were under the Soviets, at least economically.

I bet it gets to the point where the people of the US become nearly as brainwashed as the people of Jonestown. It is certainly headed in that direction.

But what else can you expect? You have the youth indoctrination camps known as the public schools and the push is to get kids into them at an ever younger age. The gooberment has done all it can to destroy the concept of stay at home moms and for that matter the nuclear family. In most communities people are strangers.

And then there’s the bought and paid for lamestream media. You get endless propaganda from it and the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats and others sucking off the teat of the tax payers like the sThink Tanks through out the land and especially in the District of Criminals.

And when you try to escape all that propaganda you can come hear and listen to Jimmy. 🙂

Anyway, I agree. Trying to change Mr. Big Al Korelin’s mind is probably a waste of time. In my opinion he’s a man of empire and big government, as long as Republicans are controlling the big government. I would loved to be proven wrong on that but it’s not like his guests like McKinney and Kessler are for ending the Empire and at least returning to a republic.

I think it’s probably a waste of time to try to change anyone’s mind. You are either preaching to the choir or pissing someone off. All you can do is look after your family, friends and self.

I posted on another blog about american fleets at the syrian coast, Russians preparing to defend syria. as reported by southfront. etc
I was told it was likely a kgb site and scare tactics.

Well, ok, when I finished shaking my head in disbelief I posted PCR,Ron Paul and Jimmy Carter commenting on the situation.

I had no choice but to admit we have had evil kgb agents within our government in high ranking positions for some time, and it was obviously true that Putin placed Trump as president.

            Dam Rusians.

But thats the mentality out there.
Is that scarier than nuclear bombs or is that just me?

            Apr 13, 2018 13:16 PM

I’ve been trying to change Mr. Big Al Korelin’s perspective for years.

And I am sorry to say I’ve been about as effective as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest.

      Apr 13, 2018 13:05 PM

Clearly it is a perspective we have rejected; not based on knee-jerk biases, but by extensive study to overcome the indoctrination that we all grew up with. So we understand your perspective very well. I don’t think you understand ours.

Monica Crowley is incorrect when she states France has aircraft on Cyprus. They do not.

The RAF has assets at Akrotiri Airbase on Cyprus. If an attack is made from that base, it should be done at night.
Limassol city has a lot of Russians, and it is just about possible to monitor the RAF forces from a high rise hotel in Limassol with binoculars.
