Ryan Wilday is the technical analyst over at Avi’s site ElliottWaveTrader.net focused on cryptocurrencies. We discuss the wild volatility and why this leads to a wide range of targets. We also look at the sector as a whole and assess the discrepancy we are seeing between the larger more established coins and the smaller coins which are outperforming.

Now, you may be among the many who wonder why anyone should bother comparing Litecoin to Bitcoin. In cryptocurrency circles, Litecoin is silver to BTC’s gold standard. This means that LTC should be viewed at a certain ratio against BTC.

If, they want to compare litecoin to silver……….Silver is undervalued, and affordable for the masses…………jmo
Btw, silver gsr, is at 80, …..compared to 82 peak, which has been the peak on a 10 yr chart
        silver is cheap…………………JMO

I will start this off disclosing that November 16th 2013 was my initial foray into Bitcoin was at $447.44.
This past December I took profits at 10,500, and 14,500. I missed the top on the second sell by four days.( I blame that on my Tax lady)she tried getting me to wait until after the first of January.
I know of the Elliot Wave Patterns but don’t use them. With that being said,I would like to say that it is refreshing to hear your guest say things like “I don’t have a technique, I have a fib level.”Also, “What I’m guessing.”
I made good coin with Bitcoin and I can honestly say that I still don’t have a full understanding of the Crypto’s.
Approaching the Crypto’s from purely a technical perspective is interesting to say the least.
The analogy would be the guy who drives the race car and doesn’t understand what makes the motor run.
In this case I would stay on the top of the race track as the impact with the wall won’t hurt as much.

There are currently 1710 cliptocurrencies. It’s just like dot coms back in 1999. A few will survive and do well. 98% are going to bitcon heaven.

If you are fast on your feet, perhaps you can do well but the smart money is fixing to dump a lot of Monopoly money onto the suckers.

I waited in line at the bank in Febuary in a foregn country and everybody in that line had a cell phone and then it hit me in a eureka moment that those same people, could pay bills and conduct banking from their cell phones. There was no need to be in the bank. Banking the unbanked.

Very convenient, but the road to hell all the same.

Going cashless would be an incredible victory for the banksters.

They’ve won a lot of battles. If they win the war, it will be death or slavery for everyone not in their select group.

At least, that’s what their own literature says.

The one’s with a good idea, and plan, are the only ones worth looking at……1710, to many to research for me…..I think I will stick to what I know, …..Which is nothing according to a book I just read…I have put my time in, and recognize some alert investors, after several years……I think I will follow some of their advice, buy low sell high……..
