    Your guest is all “Wet”
Not once did he mention common sense. This was not surprising to me.

      Apr 18, 2018 18:09 PM

      fair enough JohnK.

The only thing that I have to mention is that “common sense” varies among one’s beliefs.

        Apr 18, 2018 18:26 PM

Common sense: You have that right, Al. Good comment.

The truth is usually available if you look hard enough.
In the case of Israel versus Palestine, you look at Israeli -generated information for pro-Palestinian data.
You look at Arab-generated data for pro-Israeli information.

An enemy usually is not lying when they are talking about information which goes against their cause.

e.g. if you see a peaceful Palestinian crowd walking along shouting slogans on Israeli TV….That is a peaceful demonstration.

But if you see the Palestinian crowd using slings to project stones at the IDF on Al Jazeera. That is probably truthful, not taken out of context.

The answer lies in absorbing as much information as possible from all sources.
Always challenging what is said or seen against other known data.

e.g. If someone claims nerve gas used, but you see doctors treating victims without protective gear, you know the story is fake. Then you have to ask further questions; such as were there victims at all? If so, what does it look like they are suffering from, etc.

Thank you for a great comment, CFS

      CFS:

      Great idea, telling the truth.

How many protesters has Israel shot in the last three weeks? How many press? How many times has Iran attacked Israel in the last month and lastly, how many times has Israel attacked a sovereign country without due course of law in the last month?

If you look at the facts, it’s pretty obvious that the people shot in the back, the guys wearing PRESS and the people moving away from the fence were no threat to Israel in any way. And it’s pretty obvious that any country in the world shooting tens of hundreds of protestors is not the victim.

      Apr 18, 2018 18:13 PM

      And CFS, thank you again

        Al:

If the Turd is going to honor truth and I think that’s great idea, I’d appreciate it if he would either verify this statement or admit he made it up. I know of none of these people saying what he said they supported.

        Wait.
        What?!?
        Futures market manipulation and spoofing??
I thought Weiner/Christian/Armstrong/Moriarty/Norcini/Casey/Gilbert all assured us the markets were sacrosanct, free and fair!

Desides, I usually see northern lights just after sunset.

if the sun does not rise….as in winter, are there northern lights?

            Apr 18, 2018 18:19 PM

I don’t know about when the sun doesn’t rise. PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Latest on the plane that made an emergency landing in Philadelphia (all times local):
    8:40 p.m.
Federal airline regulators say they will order inspections on engine fan blades like the one involved in fatal failure that killed a woman in a plane that made an emergency landing in Philadelphia.
The Federal Aviation Administration said late Wednesday that it will issue a directive in the next two weeks to require inspections of certain CFM56-7B engines.
That’s the type of engine that suffered a failure on a Southwest Airlines plane on Tuesday. Debris from the engine hit the plane and damaged a window, leading to a woman being partially blown out. The woman later died and seven people were hurt in the flight scheduled to go from New York to Dallas.
The directive will require ultrasonic inspections of fan blades when they reach a certain number of takeoffs and landings. Blades that fail inspection will have to be replaced.
    6:40 p.m.
Philadelphia’s medical examiner says that a woman killed when she was partially blown out of a Southwest Airlines plane died of blunt impact trauma to her head, neck and torso.
Spokesman James Garrow of the Philadelphia Department of Public Health said Wednesday evening that Jennifer Riordan’s death was ruled accidental.
Riordan was killed and seven others were injured after the twin-engine 737 blew an engine at 30,000 feet Tuesday and got hit by shrapnel.
Federal investigators are still trying to figure out how the window came out of the plane. National Transportation Safety Board chairman Robert Sumwalt says that the woman was wearing a seatbelt and sitting next to the window.
    5:15 p.m.
A federal investigator says that a crack on the interior of a jet engine is what led to the failure that shot debris at the plane, leading to the death of a passenger.
National Transportation Safety Board chairman Robert Sumwalt said at a news conference Wednesday that one of the 24 blades in the Southwest Airlines 737’s engine fractured from metal fatigue.
Sumwalt says he is very concerned about Tuesday’s engine failure, but would not extrapolate that to the CFM56 engines or the entire fleet of Boeing 737s. The plane is the most popular airliner ever built.
He says investigators are still trying to figure out how a window came out of the plane. Sumwalt says that the woman who was wearing a seatbelt and sitting next to the window died.
    4:50 p.m.
A federal investigator says that they are still trying to figure out how a window came out of a plane that made an emergency landing in Philadelphia, killing the woman seated in that row.

      Apr 19, 2018 19:36 AM

If you pop a hole in an aircraft window at 32,000 feet it’s pretty easy to see how you could have catastrophic failure of the glass. It comes under stuff happens. And not all stuff is good.

A few years ago, when examining the remains of a bomb dropped in Yemen 4 years earlier, scientists were still able to detect traces of Sarin.
Thus if opcw claims they could not find sarin at Douma, there would not have been any used.
A quantity about the size of a grain of sugar is lethal.

Novichuk-type weapons, normally stored as binary precursors, are ten times more lethal. After the break up of the Soviet Union, they destroyed over two million shells containing Novichuks. No exact inventory had been kept.

Yemen had a cholera outbreak where over a million people were affected.Yemen’s population is roughly 29 million. So 1 out of every 29 people were affected.

Notice how the Feds are ignoring the amount of heroin flowing out of Afghanistan. Our one great victory in the last 17 years was to increase heroin production 1000%.

      Apr 19, 2018 19:06 AM

Opium Wars are part of History……..been going on forever…….not just Afghan …..
The US, …is a real big player, we all know that…..Congress Approves it.

        Apr 19, 2018 19:40 AM

        Poppy Bush…..got his cut…
In the course of the last decade, there has been a surge in Afghan opium production. In turn the number of heroin addicts in the US has increased dramatically. Is there a relationship?

“There were 189,000 heroin users in the US in 2001, before the US-NATO invasion of Afghanistan. By 2016 that number went up to 4,500,000 (2.5 million heroin addicts and 2 million casual users). Heroin deaths shot up from 1,779 in 2001 to 10,574 in 2014 as Afghan opium poppy fields metastasized from 7,600 hectares in 2001 (when the US-NATO War in Afghanistan began) to 224,000 hectares in 2016. (One hectare equals approximately 2.5 acres). Ironically, the so-called US eradication operation in Afghanistan has cost an estimated $8.5 billion in American taxpayer funds since the US-NATO-Afghan war started in October 2001.” ( See the article by Sibel Edmonds, August 22, 2017)

Afghanistan produces over 90 percent of the opium which feeds the heroin market.

As revealed in the Iran-Contra and Bank of Commerce and Credit International (BCCI) scandals, CIA covert operations in support of the Afghan Mujahideen had been funded through the laundering of drug money. “Dirty money” was recycled –through a number of banking institutions (in the Middle East) as well as through anonymous CIA shell companies–, into “covert money,” used to finance various insurgent groups during the Soviet-Afghan war, and its aftermath. According to a 1991 Time Magazine report:

Delano…so FDR, surrounded by communists, had a forebear, Clinton Roosevelt who both inspired and financed Karl Marx, and had other forebears who were opium traffickers.

“Russell’s cousin and fellow opium trader, William Huntington Russell, was a co-founder and funder of Yale University’s Skull and Bones Society.”
