To get my master’s degree at Indiana University I had to pass a tough college boards French exam, but did not have to prove my knowledge of the Constitution. Some of my friends never got their M.A. because they could not pass the foreign language exam.
The state of Washington is similar to the United States in general. The vast majority of the population lives in a few large cities, distant from the rural and small-town folks in a lot more than just mileage. The left-leaning cities are in direct opposition to the more right-leaning rural communities, but the rural communities are under the thumb of the city voters due to numbers.

That was a pretty interesting video on the global economic and societal effects and influence of the greater Asia (not just China, but also India, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Myramar, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc…) on the rest of the world as far as infrastructure, investing, technology, energy, and trade.

This is one of the best talks I’ve seen in a while from Jamie Keech to point out some of the games that management plays in TSX Venture companies like the Jr Miners, Cryptos, and Pot stocks.
