I didn’t see the whole thing but from what I saw I didn’t see Ocrasio. Did she attend? I would think if she did the lamestream media would panned to her as they adore her.

      Big Al says:

She was there, Ed. They did not spend an inordinate amount of time on her presence. The time that they did spend on her, in my opinion, was not really complimentary to her. I think that the female “newbies” will probably get a lot of coverage by lame street, but I think that in the long run their efforts will be futile for whatever their cause ins.

And what the heck did Bug Eyed Peolosi have? It looked like she was holding giant cards or sheets of paper and she was shuffling them around.

      Totally agree, Ed

And did you see the reaction to Trump when he said this country can’t have endless wars???

No applause from the Joint Chiefs. They sat there, arms crossed, stone faced.

And that Milley looked pissed. He looked like he wanted to beat Trump harder than he’s ever been beaten before, make no mistake about it!

      Al B Korelin says:

I did notice the lack of applause from them. Could that be kind of protocol? I am pretty tired now but will still do a bit of research. Maybe you could also check it out.

      Big Al says:

Here is an additional thought on your comment, Ed, My opinion is that Trump will strongly further his idea of no more endless wars. I hope that I am correct, my friend.

    Dick Tracy says:

There is a saying that you can’t teach an old guard new tricks, in this case Donald Trump wants America to look backwards to a time when America was the engine of growth and envy. He has set America back on a path to prosperity. His analysis is sound, I think he showed that he understands how to be a good statesman and politician. He certainly had command of his faculties during his “State Of The Union Address”. He wants America to be a contrast to the Socialist movement that we see in Venezuela and in The Democratic party as represented by Bernie Saunders. Trump reached out to all walks of life and did not choose to be The Republican standard bearer. Trump is not an unpretentious man, and in this instance he worked to present himself as forward looking and easy to access, someone who wasn’t at loggerheads with The Congress. Without getting into specifics he was smooth all around. DT

I have to completely agree with you, Mr Tracy. An accurate and astute comment in my opinion. Thank you, sir.

    Big Al says:

I was thinking about your comment, Ed, about the lack of applause on the part of the Joint Chiefs. I think that they all would look pretty stupid if they applauded. Just a late night thought!

    • On February 6, 2019 at 1:33 pm,
      Ebolan says:

If I was one of them and my Commander in Chief said that endless, unnecessary wars would be ended I sure would applause because that would mean I wouldn’t need to send my boys to be killed for nothing.

Trump hit it outta da park. Couldn’t help but notice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and four other Justices weren’t there…..I’d love to see the President go personally and pay a visit RBG.

      Big Al says:

i personally agree with you 4 oz. I thought that he hit it out of the park also.

Regarding the Supreme Court Judges, I also thought that was curious. Perhaps a reason will be given today.

Nancy PeLousy should have retired decades ago.

  8. On February 6, 2019 at 10:32 am,
    Big Al says:

I have to assume, Ed, that she is not your favorite person! Probably not mine either. I will say that she certainly did wake up Trump and the Republicans. Could her actions perhaps been a part of the reason that Trump gave a monumental speech last night?

    • On February 6, 2019 at 11:39 am,
      Ebolan says:

Perhaps we need Nancy Palooza as Speaker now. My understanding is that the younger Demorats (like Ocrassio) are not happy with her and the other older Demorats hanging on to power for as long as she has. They want her to step aside and so the younger generations can step up. Anything that splits the Demorats is good.

Next door pal Al, says,,, says:

Did not bother to see that Mr. BIG APPLE fella run his mouth, he is expert at doing, but let’s face it, CHRIS, this dude can charm the socks off a rooster with his yap. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he took great pain to color Israel in bright colors, fool that he is continuing to be less than wise about Middle East concerns, or likewise enlightened about component parts concerning global issues, mainly CHINA, RUSSIA et al, especially now with Venezuela issues becoming heavily confrontational with CHINA investments? As I’ve said and as time passes, the Genie is out of the Bottle. We’vr reached the point of no return, as our old Air force saying went. CYA,,, I say… 🙂

Larry, if you are my respected friend Larry, I am not sure that he can “charm the socks off a rooster”.

I am, as you probably know, at this moment, that I am on recording as saying that he is maybe not the right man for the job because of his communication skills.

If he is such a great communicator why can’t he build bridges?

I know what I said at the concert, but do you think that maybe by the end of his term , whenever that is, that some bridges may very well be built?
