Big Brexit Votes This Week and An Argument For A Pause In Weak Economic Data

Cory
March 11, 2019

Marc Chandler, Managing Partner at Bannockburn Global ForEx outlines the key Brexit vote tomorrow and what could follow if the vote is a no. There are a number of different scenarios that can play out as the March 29th deadline approaches. We also address the fact that everyone has jumped on the global slowdown bandwagon. It is understandable since data around the world has continued to be quite weak, however in the short term it would not be out of the question for a small relief rally.

To obtain the visas in 2021, U.S. citizens will need to have a passport, which is valid for three months beyond the period of intended stay in Europe, a credit or debit card and an email account, the EU said. There is an exception to the new rule for minors, who will still only need their normal passport.

Visa-free travelers, including US citizens, will need to request ETIAS authorization before visiting the Schengen Area. They can complete an application and pay a service fee of 7 euros (about $8) online. The ETIAS visa is valid for three years.

    It will be a farce.

    UK MPs have no guts.

May wants to remain and will do anything to stay in the EU.
UK conservatives will do nothing to replace her…..WHICH IS WHAT IS NEEDED.

The MPs seen to prefer to destroy the UK economy rather than to take a no-deal Brexit.

It is absolutely amazing. The UK holds the upper hand, if only they would play it.
The EU needs to export to the UK, more than the UK needs to export to the EU.

ALL the UK has to do is to state that fact and state it will create EQUAL conditions (Tariffs) on the EU that it creates on the UK, and also that the UK will now seek deals with the rest of the world to replace its dependency on the EU.
Frau Merkel will blink immediately, rather than take the pain.

Over the weekend, we were surprised to learn that some readers were prevented by Facebook when attempting to share Zero Hedge articles. Subsequently it emerged that virtually every attempt to share or merely mention an article, including in private messages, would be actively blocked by the world’s largest social network, with the explanation that “the link you tried to visit goes against our community standards.”
