From a fundamental analysis gold is now cheap.
The technical picture is, however, currently less favorable, but this is temporary.

What goes for gold goes for platinum in spades.

By all historical measures Platinum is dirt cheap.

The only negative I can think of is that a turndown in China’s economy will suppress Platinum jewelry demand.

      Al B Korelin says:

Certainly interesting thoughts about the potential effect on gold and platinum of a slowdown in the Chinese economy. The question I would have is what would the magnitude of that slowdown have to be to affect the average person in the street who is currently buying these two commodities in the form of jewelry.

Hey Big Al, what do you still think about Nature Technologies, Theralase, and DynaCert?

    • On March 13, 2019 at 12:12 pm,
      Big Al says:

I don’t follow Theralase at all anymore. I thought they had a good idea but it never seemed to work out.

DynaCert, I know little if anything about the company.

Natcore Technologies, darn that auto spell thing on computers, if you don’t double check it will give you words you don’t intend to give.

      Big Al says:

We started to follow Natcore Technologies because of Brian Lundin’s involvement and it too never seemed to work out. That is not to say that it will not work out in the long run.

What is this all about……On the TRUMP StAFF……
This is the second major ruling in the Epstein case in only a few weeks. As TFTP reported last month, a federal judge made a bombshell ruling which stated that the prosecutors who worked under former Miami U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta—now Trump’s Labor Secretary—broke the law when handling the case of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein

It seems to be more than funny, Jerry. We don’t seem to know the whole truth about the recently appointed Labor Secretary.

Thank you very much for bringing this up as it does appear to be true. I don’t think that the WSJ would print something unless it was verifiable.

      Hi Jerry,

It seems as though the more money that some people have the more immoral they are.

I have two questions and the first one is has this story been fact checked. I would think that if he spent time in some type of jail environment that could easily be proven.

I will look at that issue right now and print what I came up with as follows:

Feds to Unseal Epstein Documents Revealing Scope of Billionaire’s Int’l Child Sex Trafficking Ring

  6. On March 12, 2019 at 5:46 pm,
    OOTB Jerry says:

On Monday, a Manhattan appeals court gave billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s former alleged partner in crime, British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, until March 19 to establish good cause as to why documents detailing the scope and size of their international child sex trafficking operation should remain sealed. Failing to do so would mean these documents will be made public.

    • On March 13, 2019 at 12:36 pm,
      Big Al says:

I would think that unsealing these documents would be an appropriate action. Don’s you Jerry?

      • On March 13, 2019 at 12:52 pm,
        OOTB Jerry says:

Hello Owl………Yes , I think the more they unseal , the more the public will know, and the more they know, …..I think there is going to be a GREAT AWAKENING…..and some are not going to believe what has been happening……FOR A VERY LONG TIME>

Trying to stick more to mining topics.

Back in early/mid 2018, when Trump was talking more about the Uranium One Crooked deal with Hillary, Trump put in a formal request to the Commerce Department to examine US dependency on Foreigh Uranium Sources.
This section 232 decision/statement from Commerce is due shortly.

Inasmuch as Trump worried about Canadian steel dependency, it is possible also that his influence will encourage Commerce to mandate a certain percentage of Uranium for use in Eelectricity generation be US sourced…..even 25% US sourcing mandate would impact US Uranium pricing.
Also in the budget the 5% in crease in defense spending will add to Uranium purchases for new weaponry.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6003457/Mystery-Russia-LIQUIDATES-holdings-Treasury-securities.html

Russia has been liquidating ALL of its holdings of US Treasuries over the last year.

It is curreently holding approx $275 tons of US $100 FRNs in cash in addition to large holdings of Gold bars.
At its current rate of buying it will soon be the largest holder of gold, in addition to US dollars.

It seems to me Russia is anticipating a US economy/banking crash/default
since that is a primary reason for holding gold and US cash.
