“Green Initiative”……Impossible. Unrealistic……Actually stupid, as we head into a time of real global cooling, due to sun cyclicality.
Let’s talk about any green initiatives with commonsense and rationality.
Of course, many ideas are good. Don’t waste, recycle, etc. But to build a complete new “green” energy system, which still requires back up for when the sun doesn’t shine or the wind doesn’t blow, impacts greatly on cost. Penalties are far outweigh the supposed benefits of lower carbon dioxide production. Let’s talk about real science and real costs, not pie in the sky and incomplete or false science.

Regarding your thank you’s I will say that most of you make a lot more sense than many of the folks on other political opinion sites. Some of the commentators and certainly some of the hosts are simply crazily building their site traffic and consequently selling a lot of ad space. Since day one that has not been our goal. My goal was to learn and at the same time have thought provoking and educational conversations and Cory’s goal was and obviously still is to have a good financial website that provides a service to listeners. I would ask you to notice that all of Cory’s sponsor companies are fundamentally sound. Also, keep in mind that he grew up in the industry and through Yale he know almost all of the players and certainly who to stay away from.
I think most of the faithful listeners…..keep hanging around, because they know or have faith and respect for the gathering. ……..JMO

This country desperately needs cohesion. The big mistake so far, in my opinion, stems from the Democrats pandering to the “something for nothing” folks and also those folks who subscribe to the “if it feels good do it” philosophy. I believe that there are many good democrats out there but that does not include those who fall into one of these categories. It is hard to believe that this party is depending on these types of folks to bring it back into power. I think that it started to the example set by Bill Clinton and then championed by Obama. A couple of pretty smart guys who put all of their eggs into the wrong basket. Whatever happened to “class and character”?
I guess I must be ill-informed, because I have met few democrats of high moral character.
Most think nothing about pandering to the masses in order simply to gain votes. Lying by omission is quite common by all politicians, but I find it parlicularly bad among Democrats.

My take, for what it is worth, is that Celente is mostly right, but suffers from linearity in extrapolation of trends.
My biggest problem with his (Celente’s) projections, however, is that in the “Greatest Depression” where does the money come from to drive precious metal demand (and thus prices) up.
I see more value being retained in necessities for life. Food, farm land, personal defense items. Simple luxuries, etc.
And given the coincidence of cyclical climate change, access to energy and food will be most important.

I would like to contrast the perspective I perceive to be encapsulated in your statement above with an alternative hypothesis, to be called the ‘Off Track’ hypothesis and the ‘Under Attack’ hypothesis respectively.
I’ve offered abundant evidence for years now that it is the latter. The more history I learn, the clearer it becomes. The attack on Western Civilization goes back at least to the French Revolution or the Reformation, and a crucial battle was lost in the US in 1913.
When you look around at all the craziness and chaos, consider that this has happened many times before. The force for ‘World Revolution’ intentionally creates this chaos to break up the established order and take ever more power. This is what has played out since 1789, at least. The uncanny similarity of many other times and places with what is going on now leaves little doubt that the current crisis is orchestrated.

Part of that ‘getting intelligently organized’ is figuring out the nature of the problem, e.g. are we Off Track or Under Attack? (Or off track because we’re under attack)
I don’t think it’s all over, and I take the more alarmist rhetoric (e.g. white genocide) with a grain of salt. But as a country and as a civilization we have hard times ahead, potentially up to and including the end of Western Civilization and a new Dark Ages.
How it shakes out will depend, I suppose, on how many correctly diagnose the reality of the current state of affairs.

I would suggest instead it is due to politicians in many countries seeking power at any cost, and one of the easiest way to get votes is to promise things to the masses, even if it is impossible to deliver because of cost.
In this age of cheap transportation and mass communication, freedom of movement is possible and poor people move to obviously richer countries.
Further, these poor, ill-educated migrants are the very fodder for vote-buying by the promises of corrupt politicians.

I’m not sure where you got that from, CFS, but it certainly isn’t how I would characterize it, and never has been.
The unrest goes much further back then 1948 Israel. I specifically mentioned 1789, for instance. And in fact, playing off your statement, I would say that much truer in that regard would be, ‘one of the aims of the world unrest that has already been accomplished was the return to Zion, but the Talmudist prophecy doesn’t end there.’

It is not about impugning a people, but a criminal element. The Jewish people at large, like Americans and Brits, have been dragged into criminality by a corrupt and evil leadership. Mental emancipation from the evil oligarchy that controls all three is the key to a non-disastrous resolution to the current mess. The criminals must be neutralized, and to achieve that we cannot allow our thought and speech to be distorted by political correctness, hatched for this very purpose.
If we refuse to get real about what is going on, the odds of a decent outcome for any involved are low to nil.
I’m not sure why it is so hard for you to differentiate between the notion of a significant criminal element in Jewry versus condemnation of ‘the Jews’ as a whole. This is why I am skeptical when you say you are not Jewish, and suspect you of playing word games. Intelligent, non-brainwashed people do not have a hard time with this distinction. The only other explanation I can think of is that brainwashing on these matters is positively correlated to years years of higher education…
