KER Politics – Fri 12 Apr, 2019

Big Al and Jim feel that the President will be re-elected in 2020 and here is why:

  1. On April 12, 2019 at 11:57 am,
    Matthew says:

I haven’t listened to the segment yet but there should be no doubt that he will be re-selected.

    • On April 12, 2019 at 12:08 pm,
      Al B Korelin says:

I am not sure about that, but I certainly hope so.

    • On April 12, 2019 at 1:18 pm,
      Ebolan says:

He certainly makes Bibi happy and can’t say no to him. And ‘defense’ spending has never been higher.

      • On April 12, 2019 at 1:51 pm,
        Big Al says:

Bibi may very well loose the upcoming election!

        • On April 12, 2019 at 2:03 pm,
          Ebolan says:

Beebs already won…it was in all the papers…where you been?

          • On April 12, 2019 at 2:06 pm,
            Ebolan says:

            And Trumpy couldn’t be happier…

Trump Boasts on Twitter: ‘Trump Flags Being Waived at the Bibi VICTORY Celebration Last Night!’

          • On April 12, 2019 at 2:31 pm,
            Big Al says:

I have been editing and recording since about 9 a.m.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 2:36 pm,
            Ebolan says:

            Beebs won 2 days ago.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 4:39 pm,
            Big Al says:

I believed that the results were announced Friday night less than 24 hours ago. But then again, I was wrong once before!

          • On April 12, 2019 at 5:15 pm,
            Ebolan says:

Friday night? It’s Friday afternoon now.

    • On April 12, 2019 at 1:21 pm,
      Ebolan says:

Plus, he’s throwing Assange to the wolves which is what the Swamp wants.

And goooberment spending has never been higher and he wants lower interest rates and more qe to keep the crack fueled party going.

I’d say all that adds up to re-election unless the whole Neo-Feudal Casino Gulag Plantation Fractured Reserve Debt Based economic outhouse burns to the ground before the next selection…er…sorry…election.

      • On April 12, 2019 at 1:27 pm,
        Ebolan says:

Plus lets face it, the murderous criminal Clintons will never see the inside of a prison cell, same goes for Podesta and all the other child molesters. The fact is Trump is no threat to the Swamp. The whole thing is a sham. Wake up, people!

        • On April 12, 2019 at 3:00 pm,
          CFS says:

          I disagree

        • On April 12, 2019 at 3:39 pm,
          Matthew says:

It is absolutely a sham and Trump poses precisely zero threat to the so-called swamp. The sheeple sure have a way of making The Twilight Zone look like non-fiction.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 4:18 pm,
            Big Al says:

            Yep, just missing Rod Sterling!

          • On April 12, 2019 at 6:34 pm,
            Ebolan says:

Face it, Matthew, it’s hopeless when even the people here can’t see the full criminality of their rulers.

Working on fighting local tax increases I am finding first hand how totally clueless the hoi polloi are when it comes to understanding their rulers. And they will believe anything their rulers tell them. It really is hopeless.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 8:47 pm,
            Matthew says:

Ebolan, you just have to wash your hands of them and focus on having the best life you can. We have to make our own situations hopeful. As with any farm animal, you can’t expect sheep to be something they’re not.

Generally speaking, the greater the formal education, the greater the indoctrination. Americans are just like everyone else in that they believe propaganda is the stuff of other countries, not theirs.

The brainwashing is brazen and complete from cradle to grave so facts don’t mean a thing to most when they’re occasionally stumbled over. “Fake news” is the norm, not the exception and always has been. The “deep state” is also not new. The most powerful people have always been shrewd and have always colluded to protect their interests.

Those who display their media-induced aversion to conspiracy theories are simply disclosing their ignorance.

      • On April 12, 2019 at 1:53 pm,
        Big Al says:

Listen to my interview with Seema Iyer. Assange my not be found guilty.

        • On April 12, 2019 at 2:08 pm,
          Ebolan says:

The Swamp wants a show trial just like what went on in the Soviet Union.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 8:48 pm,
            CFS says:

GH, perhaps you had not seen this:

            or the movie mentioned therein.

I have never met Assange, but I have a fairly good memory and absorb more data than anyone else I have met.
I do not always express my precise views, but try not to express falsehoods.

I am actually for Assange and what he did, but at the same time recognize the power of the state and its ability to punish.
The full story is not yet written.
I believe it to be quite different from what most people believe.

I hope it is one of Trump getting extra ammunition for the trials of the really treasonous politicians and bureaucrats, but I don’t know for sure.

        • On April 12, 2019 at 2:33 pm,
          Ebolan says:

The US Goooberment is a pack of criminals.

And Trump being at the head of it doesn’t change that.

In fact there’s no way anybody but a criminal could even become the head of it!

Just look at how corrupt the whole system is for crying out loud!

        • On April 12, 2019 at 3:04 pm,
          CFS says:

Assange is charged with breaking bail.

          He broke bail.

How could he not be found guilty?

As regards conspiracy to assist Manning, that is different, but the pressure on Manning is VERY high.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 4:36 pm,
            Big Al says:

Thanks CFS, ignorant Al did not realize that.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 6:37 pm,
            Ebolan says:

Assange is charged with breaking bail? No kidding!

But thanks for spreading your propaganda but I will let this article set the record straight.

“The media and political courtiers endlessly emphasised Assange’s bail violation in the UK, ignoring the fact that asylum seekers fleeing legal and political persecution don’t usually honour bail conditions imposed by the very state authorities from which they are seeking asylum.”

There’s much more but I doubt you’ll bother reading it.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 7:21 pm,
            CFS says:

I read the unz article. Nothing I stated was incorrect.

The two girls did admit they exaggerated (I think they used “unsure” or not so sure) about their sex charges, AS I STATED ELSEWHERE IN THIS BLOG.

Sweden never formally dropped charges; they did expire.

I stated the UK’s charge is one of bail -jumping. IT IS.

Everything else in the unz article is rhetoric and innuendo.

I happen to be on Assange’s side, but I also expect to be hit with the full weight of the law if I break it.
I am sure Assange will argue the point of unequal treatment under the law, in his hearings at the Magistrate’s court.
I am not sure as to the real reason he is wanted in the US at this point in time.
(I suspect it is to use his knowledge to bring down the deep state, but I can’t prove that…..Time will answer.)

          • On April 12, 2019 at 8:13 pm,
            Ebolan says:

The Swedes dropped the charges in 2015 and their investigators wanted to drop the charges back in 2013.

This is all about getting Assange back to the USSA where the Deep State can give him life in solitary confinement in a Super Max or execute him.

The Deep State is full of war criminals. They are damned well trying to make an example of Assange to send a clear message to anyone who is thinking of exposing evidence of the murderous behavior of our b@stard criminal gooooberment.

Anyone who can’t see this is nothing but a brainwashed sheeple.

The political and media class crafted a narrative of half-truths about the sex charges Assange was under investigation for in Sweden. They overlooked the fact that Assange had been allowed to leave Sweden by the original investigator, who dropped the charges, only for them to be revived by another investigator with a well-documented political agenda.

They failed to mention that Assange was always willing to be questioned by Swedish prosecutors in London, as had occurred in dozens of other cases involving extradition proceedings to Sweden. It was almost as if Swedish officials did not want to test the evidence they claimed to have in their possession.

Britain was obligated to allow him to leave the embassy, using his diplomatic immunity, to travel unhindered to Ecuador. No “mainstream” journalist or politician thought this significant either.

They turned a blind eye to the news that, after refusing to question Assange in the UK, Swedish prosecutors had decided to quietly drop the case against him in 2015. Sweden had kept the decision under wraps for more than two years.

It was a freedom of information request by an ally of Assange, not a media outlet, that unearthed documents showing that Swedish investigators had, in fact, wanted to drop the case against Assange back in 2013. The UK, however, insisted that they carry on with the charade so that Assange could remain locked up. A British official emailed the Swedes: “Don’t you dare get cold feet!!!”

          • On April 12, 2019 at 8:34 pm,
            GH says:

Thanks for setting that straight, Ebolan.

CFS, you can be technically right and still be way off.

Hi AL…..This may come as a shock to you , but yes i agree with a lot of what JIM just said…………

    • On April 12, 2019 at 12:08 pm,
      Al B Korelin says:

I am not surprised, Sir Irish.

  3. On April 12, 2019 at 12:11 pm,
    cfs says:

I also believe that President Trump has a good chance of being re-elected providing the election is clean.
Don’t worry about Joe Biden; there are too many skeletons in his closet. Biden will be lucky if he does not spend his last days in jail with Hunter Biden over their corruption associated with Ukraine.
As the trials of Democrat-leaning officials occur in the coming months, regular Democrats will leave the party in droves.
It is hard to fight against main stream media, 90% leaning left and 95% anti-Trump.
But this will change, providing the internet stays free. Propaganda works if repeated often emough, even if it is a bunch of lies. However, I believe this too will change as the Corrupt News Network will be sued and held liable for falsehoods; after that MSNBC will re-think allegiance if it wants to survive.
Socialism does not work, because governments are NEVER efficient.
Just try to name one government program that actually is cost-effective.

    • On April 12, 2019 at 2:10 pm,
      GH says:

A huge number of people in the mass media are actualy criminals, and need to do time. The many war criminals among them need a noose.

      • On April 12, 2019 at 2:12 pm,
        GH says:

And once their time is done, any dual citizens among them need to be exiled and stripped of citizenship.

      • On April 12, 2019 at 3:36 pm,
        GH says:

Forgot to mention the many people in the media who have played key parts in this attempted coup, aka treason. They also need a noose or a firing squad.

        • On April 12, 2019 at 3:38 pm,
          GH says:

I’m not saying that in anger, Al.

It’s just the facts and the law, and it needs to be upheld.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 4:24 pm,
            Big Al says:

I consider nothing that you say to me personally to be said in anger. I appreciate all of your comments, GH.

        • On April 12, 2019 at 4:27 pm,
          Big Al says:

I firmly believe that each and everyone of them needs to be, at the very least, charged with treason.

Wait until Biden’s corrupt connection is fully revealed.

  4. On April 12, 2019 at 12:20 pm,
    pardu says:

Big Al and Jim, I would have to say that I agree with you both. The one thing that is happening at this time, which bodes well for the hope for a better future, is the way Trump irritates the left so much, that they expose themselves for who they are, and expose their own hypocrisy.

I too wish Trump were a better communicator. The left hate him more than they love the country. The left will spend their energy to destroy Trump, and at the same time show their own lack of care for the citizens and their needs, and thus destroy their aim to gain more power, hopefully.

The extreme left is going to cause many in the Democrat (not Democratic party) party to either leave or not come out to vote, so as to not play a part in the party’s lunacy.

AOC and many of that age group and philosophical bent are displaying their ignorance of basic principles of economics, accurate history, and so much more. The ignorance is so profound that it causes one to wonder what will happen when they vote in force and what they will teach their children. That is something to be disturbed about.

The left has controlled the education, media, and other opinion forming institutions for far too long and AOC and others are the result of how they have been indoctrinated with faulty reasoning and are used as ignorant pawns in the efforts to change and to destroy what the founders and so many others have given us at the cost of so much blood and treasure.

“The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing”. (Edmund Burke). I believe this is what is happening and it is time for good people to stand up and to do something, so evil will not prevail. Let us hope enough will do what is needed to turn the tide.

    • On April 12, 2019 at 2:06 pm,
      Big Al says:

Your definitely bring up some issues of concern that I have about the Democrats.

    • On April 12, 2019 at 2:17 pm,
      GH says:

      Lots of good points, Pardu.

But, as poorly as I think of Dems, or ‘the Left’, I don’t see how the Republican Right in the US is much, if any, better.

They supported George W. Bush. They support Israel. They support the wars. And they largely refuse to see any evil where corporations are concerned. That, too, is enough to destroy the US.

      • On April 12, 2019 at 2:57 pm,
        pardu says:

I agree GH, my comments did not adequately express the same concerns. Both parties have let us down. Sadly, we get the gov’t we deserve, due to a lack of civic responsibility, apathy, ignorance, and self interest (asking gov’t to give us stuff). These are some of our problems. We have the power within us to change this, but it only works if a significant percentage of the population on board.

        • On April 12, 2019 at 3:13 pm,
          GH says:

Clearly America needs a new ‘awakening’.

Just as clearly, the powerful faction that is censoring news and the Internet and banning books want to make sure no ‘awakening’ happens.

I am opimistic in that I do not believe the evil at work in the US and the world will prevail. But America sure looks like it’s got to go through trial by fire in the meantime. Best case scenario, a lot that is dishonest and disfunctional will be burned off in the process, and those who survive will be better off for it.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 4:32 pm,
            Big Al says:

I am pretty sure that we are being tested by God.

            Big Al says:

And, candidly I am not sure that we will pass this very important test!

          • On April 12, 2019 at 5:38 pm,
            GH says:

I suppose that’s a test that is passed or failed on an individual basis.

If ‘we’ is the US, likewise, I am not sure. It may be a Humpty Dumpty situation at this point.

        • On April 12, 2019 at 4:38 pm,
          Big Al says:

An Pardu, a significant portion of the population is not on board!

  5. On April 12, 2019 at 12:42 pm,
    Silverdollar says:

Jim’s comments about the Nordic countries can’t pay for their promises is almost comical. Especially in light of our national debts over 20 Trillion; pensions all underfunded; personal debt levels beyond comprehension; half the population can’t find $400 for a surprise expense; A medical system than bankrupts the sick that use it; wage levels equivalent to the late 70’s. I could go on but what’s the point.
You never mentioned Buttigieg, only Biden. Joe’s a good ole boy but the times and issues need someone with a different outlook. Just like few saw the potential for Trump in lhis early days, Buttigieg could surprise that group of old line Democrats like Trump did that Republican lineup.
Buttigieg has Trump on Military service and brains and he’s not a socialist. He’s likely 10 times more honest and his past certainly has fewer nightmares to investigate. Oh and he is from fly-over country! Disregard him at your peril! JMO

What % of voting is done on hackable machines with no paper trail?

So what reason is there to believe in the integrity of US elections?

          I can’t think of one.

          • On April 12, 2019 at 4:41 pm,
            Big Al says:

GH, I never thought that voting machine were hack able. Can you do us all a favor and elaborate on this?

          • On April 12, 2019 at 4:55 pm,
            CFS says:

I believe increasingly you will members of each party demanding to watch machines until results down-loaded.
US voting machines, not connected to the internet are not hackable.
They can, however be programmed to miscount the results in favor of any particular person. It is therefore absolutely necessary to demand access under observation for all times. Likewise with ballot sheets.
e.g. in Florids in 2016, boxes of unmarked ballots were found and also boxes of pre-marked ballots.
In California, electors can actually “legally” go out and obtain votes AFTER the voting is in theory closed. Postal voting is highly suspected to be rigged in many counties.

            GH says:

I don’t have any special links to share, it’s been a long time since I looked into it. But I remember, for instance, seeing an academic study where they hacked into the machines (Diebold?) in short order. Fox says 2 minutes….

Good point, CFS, about machines not connected to the internet not being hackable that way. As I recall, the hacking required physical access to the voting machine.

How are we to know if a machine has been compromised? Even if we observe it during voting, how do we know what happened before observation started?

Isn’t maintaining the feature of having a paper trail a no-brainer? Why did they eliminate it?

I’m curious about the potential benefits of blockchain for election integrity, though I’m very skeptical at this point that America’s problems will be fixed through conventional political means.

GH, How do we know the machines have not been hacked prior to observation”
All registers must be at zero at the start and a copy of the programming must be made.
Then observation must be continuous until the voting is counted.
Of course, Observation does not have to be totally continuous if machines are stored in a locked independent third party facility, like a bank vault.

          GH says:

Actually, folks like the Bushes continued to work with the Nazis even after war had been declared:

“In October 1942, ten months after entering World War II, America was preparing its first assault against Nazi military forces. Prescott Bush was managing partner of Brown Brothers Harriman. His 18-year-old son George, the future U.S. President, had just begun training to become a naval pilot. On Oct. 20, 1942, the U.S. government ordered the seizure of Nazi German banking operations in New York City which were being conducted by Prescott Bush. Under the Trading with the Enemy Act, the government took over the Union Banking Corporation, in which Bush was a director. The U.S. Alien Property Custodian seized Union Banking Corp.’s stock shares, all of which were owned by Prescott Bush, E. Roland “ Bunny ” Harriman, three Nazi executives, and two other associates of Bush.”

“By Oct. 26, 1942, U.S. troops were under way for North Africa. On Oct. 28, the government issued orders seizing two Nazi front organizations run by the Bush-Harriman bank: the Holland-American Trading Corporation and the Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation.

U.S. forces landed under fire near Algiers on Nov. 8, 1942; heavy combat raged throughout November. Nazi interests in the Silesian-American Corporation, long managed by Prescott Bush and his father-in-law George Herbert Walker, were seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act on Nov. 17, 1942. In this action, the government announced that it was seizing only the Nazi interests, leaving the Nazis’ U.S. partners to carry on the business.”

“President Franklin Roosevelt’s Alien Property Custodian, Leo T. Crowley, signed Vesting Order Number 248 seizing the property of Prescott Bush under the Trading with the Enemy Act. The order, published in obscure government record books and kept out of the news, explained nothing about the Nazis involved; only that the Union Banking Corporation was run for the “ Thyssen family ” of “ Germany and/or Hungary ”–“ nationals … of a designated enemy country.”

When George Bush was elected Vice President in 1980, Texas mystery man William (“ Will ”) Stamps Farish III took over management of all of George Bush’s personal wealth in a “ blind trust. ”…

Will Farish has long been Bush’s closest friend and confidante….

President Bush can count on Will Farish not to betray the violent secrets surrounding the Bush family money. For Farish’s own family fortune was made in the same Hitler project, in a nightmarish partnership with George Bush’s father.

On March 25, 1942, U.S. Assistant Attorney General Thurman Arnold announced that William Stamps Farish (grandfather of the President’s money manager) had pled “ no contest ” to charges of criminal conspiracy with the Nazis.

After pleading “ no contest ” to charges of criminal conspiracy with the Nazis, William Stamps Farish was fined $5,000. (Similar fines were levied against Standard Oil–$5,000 each for the parent company and for several subsidiaries.) This of course did not interfere with the millions of dollars that Farish had acquired in conjunction with Hitler’s New Order, as a large stockholder, chairman and president of Standard Oil. All the government sought was the use of patents which his company had given to the Nazis–the Auschwitz patents–but had withheld from the U.S. military and industry.

But a war was on, and if young men were to be asked to die fighting Hitler … something more was needed. Farish was hauled before the Senate committee investigating the national defense program. The committee chairman, Senator Harry Truman, told newsmen before Farish testified: “ I think this approaches treason. ”

Farish began breaking apart at these hearings. He shouted his “ indignation ” at the Senators, and claimed he was not “disloyal. ”

After the March-April hearings ended, more dirt came gushing out of the Justice Department and the Congress on Farish and Standard Oil. Farish had deceived the U.S. Navy to prevent the Navy from acquiring certain patents, while supplying them to the Nazi war machine; meanwhile, he was supplying gasoline and tetraethyl lead to Germany’s submarines and air force. Communications between Standard and I.G. Farben from the outbreak of World War II were released to the Senate, showing that Farish’s organization had arranged to deceive the U.S. government into passing
over Nazi-owned assets: They would nominally buy I.G.’s share in certain patents because “ in the event of war between ourselves and Germany … it would certainly be very undesirable to have this 20 percent Standard-I.G. pass to an alien property custodian of the U.S. who might sell it to an unfriendly interest. ”

In August, Farish was brought back for more testimony. He was now frequently accused of lying. Farish was crushed under the intense, public grilling; he became morose, ashen. While Prescott Bush escaped publicity when the government seized his Nazi banking organization in October, Farish had been nailed. He collapsed and died of a heart attack on Nov. 29, 1942.

The Farish family was devastated by the exposure. Son William Stamps Farish, Jr., a lieutenant in the Army Air Force, was humiliated by the public knowledge that his father was fueling the enemy’s aircraft; he died in a training accident in Texas six months later.

Some even say they continued to do business with the Nazis throughout the entire war:

Of course a son is not guilty of his father’s crimes just by virtue of being his son.

But no one suggests that GHW Bush should have been legally prosecuted for Prescott’s crimes. That would be crazy.

Likewise, it is crazy to think that a father has no influence on a son, and that family history of the kind related above should not be used in evaluating his likely integrity.

Should GHW Bush have been punished for Prescott’s crimes? No.
Should GHW Bush have been trusted? No.
Should the American public have been informed of this history? Yes.
Would we ever have had a Bush as President if the public had been informed? No.
Would that have been the right outcome? Yes.

There, of course, is a possibily that President Trump may lose the next election.

One such reason may not be obvious by 2020.
Today he announced expediting 5G telephony.

I remember precipitous action that rolled out the drug thalidomide in the late fifties that led to thousands of birth defects.

As a survivor of a brain cancer that cost me 20-25% of my brain and half my sight, I am worried about recipitous roll out of 5G networks.

Do the frequencies of 5G cause cancer? I don’t know if they do at all frequencies at the power levels involved; but they certainly do at the higher frequencies and high power levels.
I worked for 20 years or so in physics and electronics involving X-band ultrasonics , K-Band and Ku-band radar; frequencies in the range of frequencies for 5G networks.
My story is, of course, anecdotal.
I have no idea whether my brain cancer was caused by high frequency radiation, (or that of another professor a few doors down the hall) but would certainly not rule out the probability. I was lucky, I survived, the other professor did not.
I wonder what is in store for especially babies and American youth as they mature into adulthood a couple of decades in the future. I will not be carrying a 5G phone in my pocket and will move if I see any cell tower being built close to my home.

There is often no mention of health effects whatsoever in hearings and conferences regarding 5G. But the dangers are real.

Thousands of studies link low-level wireless radio frequency radiation exposures to a long list of adverse biological effects, including:

DNA single and double strand breaks
    oxidative damage
    disruption of cell metabolism
    increased blood brain barrier permeability
    melatonin reduction
    disruption to brain glucose metabolism
    generation of stress proteins
(In 2011 the World Health Organization (WHO) classified radio frequency radiation as a possible 2B carcinogen.)

More recently the $25 million National Toxicology Program concluded that radio frequency radiation of the type currently used by current cell phones can cause cancer.

Manning communicated with someone called OX. Proving OX is Assange may not be easy.
Also the statute of limitations for the conspiracy charge expired over a year before charges were filed under 731, and the only loophole in limitations is if Assange is labelled “terrorist”. That seems unlikely, since he does not fit the legal definition of terrorist.
Either the originator of these charges (I don’t know if it is Trump or CIA or FBI) is kinda stupid, or this is being set up to fail in terms of imprisoning Assange. Maybe it really is an information gathering operation against the deep state entirely.
