Shifting our focus to some more specific mainstream stocks I chatted with Allison Ostrander from Simpler Trading. We look at the setup for Costco and Microsoft which are both bullish while Alibaba has a more bearish look. All these stocks can be impacted by the trade disputes and tariffs however not all to the same extent.
If both groups were involved in managing the “Leadership for Healthy Communities” project, the IRS complaint asserts “the arrangement is ‘self-dealing’ and cannot be ‘arms length'” as required by IRS law, and raises the question “of whether its organizers are getting fat off the grants.”
Hah, getting fat off the grants? Ya, think?

Excess reserves peaked at $2.7 trillion in August of 2014 but the interest rate on excess reserves then was only 0.25%.
0.25% of $2.7 trillion is “only” $6.75 billion in free money at an annualized rate. At the current rate, banks take in over $33 billion in free money.
The peak annualized rate was probably in August of 2017 with the interest on excess reserves at 1.95% on $2.2 trillion. That’s free money to the tune of $42.9 billion at an annualized rate.
