I hope everyone has a great long weekend in the US. On this weekend’s show we focus on the trade war issues, hesitancy around the US markets, and a couple comments on the resource sector.

  • Segment 1 – The US and China are in more than just a trade war – Jesse Felder, founder of The Felder Report.
  • Segment 2 – Mike Larson looks at the unicorn companies in the US that are now in a lot more trouble.
  • Segment 3 – An extended discussion with Rick Rule. We discuss the upcoming Sprott Natural Resource Symposium in Vancouver on July 30 – August 2. Also some comments on where Rick is focusing his resource investments.
  • Segment 4 – Joe Mazumdar, Editor of Exploration Insights shares his thoughts on the new trend of charity flow-through financings and his recent trip to Japan.

    The U.S. used to have a strong anti-monopoly belief. e.g. the break-up of A.T.&T.
    What happened?
Why is Google not broken up?
Why is Facebook not broken up?
Why is anti-conservative censorship allowed to exist?
What happened to the concept of FREEDOM of SPEECH?

Comparatively speaking freedom of speech does still exist in America. I have to ask a question: “how long would the KE Report last in China?

A new book by Stephen Brill attempts to answer those questions and a lot more about what went wrong with a lot of good ideas once implemented. Book’s name is “Tailspin – The People and Forces Behind America’s Fifty-year Fall…..”

        Steven, not Stephen. Sorry.

Dang, it’s getting pretty sad when the resource sector has to rely on charity financing.

I hope we don’t see Rick Rule on a street corner with his hat in hand standing next to a sign that says, “Will dig for food.”

      May 25, 2019 25:25 PM

I can personally guarantee that you will never see Rick standing anywhere with his hat in his hand!

        May 25, 2019 25:38 PM

OK, maybe my hat in his hand! 🙂

Rick Rule is a broken record……always wrong but never in doubt.

Holy cow. Rick Rule: “[is] happy that more dumb money is being invested in places more subtable for their interests, marijuana, where due diligence is conducted nightly on street corners.”

That had me laughing in tears.
