Whose fault are the tragedies? Big Al and Doctor John Huber say it is societies’

29 people initially killed., 53 injured. 2 subsequent deaths so far.

I fully agree with Dr. Huber.

    There are many assisting causes:

Desensitizing of killing by its common occurrence in TV and movies.
Similarly, especially for young males, video games can be very violent.
Degrading of Moral values, by failure of value teaching in schools.
(even the slow change to increasing percentage of female teachers may be a cause.)
Attack by media on Christianity and religion in general, and the resultant reduction in moral values, which derived from Judaism/Christianity.
Degradation of family itself by promotion of alternative lifestyles by the left.
Promotion of mother-only child-raising by virtue of the welfare system itself and financial punishment (payment reduction) with father presence.

Society is evolving in some ways more free, but not necessarily for the better.
With regard to young males; sparing the rod, may, indeed, spoil the child; at the very least. the lack of a male role model seems to be very detrimental to the general well-being and mental health of the child.

I think the whole way society is going is desensitising, in some sense ordering goods on the internet to self check-out tills, everything is isolating people into a virtual reality existence, so probably not surprising if certain, clearly unbalanced, people don’t have any empathy with the lives of other human beings who are not in their ‘friends’ group.

I couldn’t agree with you more. We purchase most everything on the Internet because it is the only convenient way to shop and I can, through Amazon Prime, usually expect delivery within two days. It does result in a bit of a feeling of isolation.

It isn’t Christians that run holly wood. It is Jews and that is where the blame should be placed.
Secondly associating Christianity with God and Christ hating Jews is blasphemy! Read Exodus 32:10 and John 8:44 and repent of worshiping the Hebrew race instead of the creator.

We will have to see what evolves, but the shootings seemed to have created a large vacuum and sucked all previous discussions out of the picture:

There is no talk of Russian collusion any more.
No more talk about declassification of documents.
No one is talking about black support switching to Trump as a result of his Baltimore comment.
What happened to Jeffrey Epstein discussions?
No talk of Ilhan Omar crimes
Or of AOC misuse of campaign funds.
No more talk about how ill-informed “the squad” actually is.
No talk about Democrat Presidential candidates and how there is no obvious good choice.
No one is talking about Democrat policy failures anymore.
What happened to talk of Treason or Sedition?

Man! The Democrats must be secretly happy the shootings completely changed the news talk.

The US Treasury formally declared China a currency manipulator.
(I don’t know if that involves the IMF)
The designation could pave the way for more U.S. sanctions against China.
China had allowed its currency to weaken to an 11-year low, a move that gives its exporters a price edge in world markets and eases some of the damage from U.S. tariffs on Chinese products.

Trump had gone on Twitter to denounce China’s move as “currency manipulation.” He added, “This is a major violation which will greatly weaken China over time.”

In a statement, Treasury said it would work with the International Monetary Fund “to eliminate the unfair competitive advantage created by China’s latest actions.”

Bezos sold $2 Billion of Amazon stock in last week.

The mass shootings have a common denominator. All the shooters(unless they are muslim fanatics)have been taking psychiatric drugs (SSRI’s) like Prozac or Paxil. These drugs can cause people to act in strange or violent ways. Liberals blame the guns because they want the state to have all the power. They want unarmed subjects, not armed citizens. Juarez is just across the border from El Paso. It is the most dangerous town in the world with 1259 murders in 2018, and even more this year, and there is strict gun control in Mexico. El Paso is much safer where Texans can carry guns.

    • On August 5, 2019 at 8:25 pm,
      Al B Korelin says:

i personally would never mess with a Texan who was “carrying”. These people know how to use a weapon and they are very aware of the law.

      Al B Korelin says:

Sir Irish,I assume that you mean the Professor’s last statement. It would be very narrow minded to not agree with his last statement. Family and the usually stable and positive fatherly influence are incredibly important. Instead of calling anyone who claims that to be the case. The accusers should attempt, at all costs to “mend the fences” which allow that to be the case. May not get votes, but will result in better adjusted children. God bless the mother who can raise good children without a fatherly influence.
