Well Nancy trying to outplay Trump’s China deal by sending Articles of Impeachment on same day did not kill the stockmarket

      Jan 15, 2020 15:23 AM

Wall Street’s certitude that Trump will win in 2020 is hitting new all-time highs today. What has not been fully discounted is the extent of the damage the Dems have inflicted on themselves by pursuing impeachment. The MSM doesn’t seem to understand how outrageously stupid the Dems look, nor that this could eventually cost them control of the House. If Antifa goes wild on election night, just remember this phrase: Gort, Klaatu borada nikto.

Anyone ever sit as a juror in a trial where the Prosecution presented no witnesses, no physical evidence and then gave proof the defendant prevented both the witnesses and evidence from being presented. I would assume there would be multiple charges against the Defendant for Intimidating Witnesses and Hindering Prosecution. That’s what happens in the real world.

If youare talking about impeachment, please read about separation of powers.
The House does NOT have power to be over the Judiciary or the Executive branch.

Perhaps could explain Pelosi now wants to call witnesses in the Senate trial, but chose NOT to call them in the House which is where the evidence was supposed to be collected.

AH, somebody else remembers “The Day The Earth Stood Still”. DT

Gort, Klaatu borado nikto, that was the magic formula that Helen Benson whispered to the robot to keep it from destroying the earth. Those were the days when humans still controlled the machines. LOL! DT

ha! DT – I get a kick out of your Robots & AI, interests and concerns. Cheers!

I don’t think Pelosi’s scummy little gambit distracted even a speck of interest from the signing of the trade deal. Almost no one cares about the impeachment any longer, except for the 20% of Dems on the outside edge of the TDS lunatic fringe.

        Jan 15, 2020 15:54 AM

Ditto………Pelosi……..is a BIG FREAKING JOKE….along with most of Congress

          Jan 15, 2020 15:56 AM

Only thing American should want is ………..END THE FED and TERM LIMITS…….of which is never going to happen…..

      Jan 15, 2020 15:15 AM

The Trumpster has not done too badly for us, it would seem. Many tariffs remain in place, and if China merely pretends to honor the trade deal, they will miss an opportunity to cancel tariffs on more than $300 billion worth of exports.

    Jan 15, 2020 15:07 AM

Rick is absolutely right about funny money driving stocks. The market has risen by about the same percentage as the Fed’s balance sheet over the last several months and even one of Morgan Stanley’s top analysts attributed the good times to QE 4.

    Jan 15, 2020 15:18 AM

That’s an interesting stat, Matthew, and it doesn’t surprise me. Don’t pass up an opportunity to short the March -MIni S&P at 3326, and then again at 3372. Scalp confidently with a bullish bias on the way up to those numbers.

      Jan 15, 2020 15:37 AM

      Thank you, Rick, much appreciated.

      Jan 15, 2020 15:51 AM

Sorry, my response to this seems to have popped up above, in the wrong place.

    Jan 15, 2020 15:57 AM

So…….we are going to dump some oil, coal and grain on the little china man…….

      Jan 15, 2020 15:16 AM

Sorry. Every response I post is going to the wrong place:

Trump is better than …….a poke in the eye with a sharp stick……..
Really, a shame, the American people do not know what is going on and has been going on for the last 70 Years.
Only, way this turns out for the American people is to expose the corrupt politicians, and people wise up to the scam.

          Jan 15, 2020 15:45 AM

Couldn’t hurt to have them read ‘The Creature from Jekyll Island’ for starters. Toss in term limits and we might actually be on a constructive path.

            Jan 15, 2020 15:36 PM

The Creature should be required reading in high school civics class.

            Jan 15, 2020 15:33 PM

I have never read it, but it sounds like I would like it.

After the Russian revolution the Farmer owned the land and produced enough food for all.
Soon after that, however, it was decided that Central Government should equalize all and control farming. Government waste, corruption and incompetence resulted in about a 30% decrease in food production and people starved. The Gulags were merely a way of controlling the dissidents, who mistakenly should have grouped together and assassinated their Government.

Bob Moriarty Comments on Group Ten Metals. It was up 25% today and in the process became my second largest position.

    http://www.streetwisereports.com/article/2020/01/14/group-ten-delivers-world-class-drill-results-for-pgm.html

      Jan 15, 2020 15:11 PM

Yes, saw that move today in Group Ten. It swelled in my portfolio as well, which is swell.

Most of the Platinum and Palladium stocks were up bigly today though. Look at Generation Mining, 21C Metals, or Platinum Group Metals. They were all up double digits.

        Jan 15, 2020 15:07 PM

        LODE swelled too—-
        (No joke.)

          Jan 15, 2020 15:35 PM

Yep saw that but I sold out of my shares last week, to redeploy those funds.
It figures it would run even further, but I wasn’t sure how to analyze their clean-tech mercury remediation business, or their real estate holdings, and wanted to be in more traditional mining companies.

Wishing you well as you continue on with Comstock journey.

          Cheers!

        Jan 16, 2020 16:16 AM

Hi Ex. I don’t own any of the others. Staying away from South Africa after then changed their mining laws for the worse. I like the resource at Platinum Group Metals a lot and used to own the company, but sold it at a loss. I have thought about Generation Mining, but haven’t researched it. Have never heard of 21C, but might look at it.

    Jan 15, 2020 15:41 PM

Does anyone on the board know anything about Kalamazoo Resources? Novo Resources purchased an 8% interest that was announced after hours yesterday and Eric Sprott acquired a like percentage of the company. Per the press release, they have a resource next to Kirkland Lake Gold’s Fosterville gold mine which is apparently very high grade. It looks like it is only listed on the ASX and I don’t have access to tickers on that exchange.

      Jan 15, 2020 15:50 PM

Ask Ex………..he usually knows the history………

        Jan 15, 2020 15:28 PM

Hey guys – I just saw this thread, and wanted to respond back that I don’t know much about Kalamazoo Resources, but a private stock investors group I chat with was pretty animated about it recently due to Sprott entry and Novo’s entry.

Charles the OTC ticker for (KZR.AX) is (KAMRF). You should be able to trade KAMRF.

          from Kalamazoo’s October 21st presser:

Maiden 10,000 Metre Diamond Drilling Program to Commence at Castlemaine Gold Project

“Driven by Kirkland Lake’s tremendous and on-going results at its nearby Fosterville Gold Mine to the north-east, there is very strong interest in our Castlemaine Gold Project and expanding exploration portfolio in the immediate area. Kalamazoo is in an excellent position financially to deliver on its exploration programs in the exciting Central Victorian zone and we look forward to reporting drilling results over the coming months.”
