1731 by April sounds great. Al can invite Pat Boone to sing “April Love” for us to celebrate 1731. Smokey Robinson turns 80 today!

That would be around tax time , and many will be Singing the Blues…… 🙂

A great song! I was eight yeas old when it was released. More than any other music of that era, Pat Boone’s stuff still reminds me of how wonderful the 1950s were.for a middle-class American kid.

      Another good article…….Citi……..says….

Investors are becoming more concerned with where the economy is going, upcoming U.S. elections, and the many uncertainties that still surround the U.S.-China trade war, the analysts noted.

      It is Friday…………..and gold is at $1639…………..just a note…….. 🙂

        Feb 21, 2020 21:22 AM

Ex, ABRA seem to be halted?
    You know something?

        Feb 19, 2020 19:23 PM

Ah – you posted the news as well. I thought at first the stockhouse link was going to be an investors response. Yep, more great exploration work !

      Feb 19, 2020 19:21 PM

Hi Miklo – sorry for the delayed response but I have been swamped this week with functions and have barely had a chance to check on the markets on an exciting week where Gold is making highs not seen for 7 years, where Silver is on the move again, and where so many miners have put out interesting news.

Here’s why ABRA Abra was halted, and it is more good news from them. Up 10% but still plenty of room to run.

      (ABRA) AbraPlata Intercepts 14 Metres of 6.40 g/t Gold & 197 g/t Silver and Identifies High-Grade Copper Zone with Intercept of 15 Metres of 5.1% Copper, 2.35 g/t Gold & 658 g/t Silver

This baby should rocket from here. The long base it built from nov 2018 is the rocket fuel.
        Todays numbers are the ignition.

If the sentiment holds we should see new highs very soon, right?

Only worrysome factor is the turbulent politics of Argentina.

          Feb 20, 2020 20:00 AM

There should be more legs to run, because this news yesterday is already coming on the heals of the good news from late January that was the spark that lit more buying in ABRA.

(ABRA) (ABBRF) AbraPlata Intersects 17.5 Metres of 604 g/t Silver and 7.0 Metres of 20.6 g/t Gold and 202 g/t Silver at Diablillos Project

Personally, I’m just glad Abraplata finally got that merger to acquire Aethon Minerals all wrapped up in December, which also got them all cashed up for the exploration that they are now putting out results for and proving their thesis.

Yes, Argentina is a tougher jurisdiction, but there are companies (like McEwen Mining) operating there, so if the project is worth the candle then it will get developed into a mine, and Diablilos is looking more and more economic the more work they do on it.

    WHO HOLDS THE NOTES
    Other US entities
Other US entities bought the remaining $405 billion in Treasuries in 2019. These entities include US institutional investors (other than commercial banks), including bond funds, pensions funds, insurance companies, hedge funds, private equity firms, plus cash-rich companies such as Apple, and individuals directly or indirectly. And these purchases brought their total holdings to $7.22 trillion, or 31% of the total US debt, making them the largest holder of US debt.

Matthew, on another thread you gave a projection for Impact’s share price if silver hits around $21. What would you project for AXU?

Marlborough, that’s always a tough guess considering the variables but I think it can reach somewhere between 3.50 and 3.70 (usd) even though $21 is just a 16% rise for silver. Even a double would not be a big surprise since AXU delivered 7 to 1 leverage to silver between 11/18 and 9/19. That would actually give you more than a double (7×16%).
