The local situations in America have reached the point where perhaps the Federal Government should enforce the rule of law. If local leaders want to change existing laws which currently seem to allow physical destruction of private property perhaps that is the action that they should take and then live with the consequences. THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT OUR CHOICE!

All studies, of which there are now many (hundreds literally all over the world) show that while children can catch the disease the majority will be asymptomatic and very few (0.01%) will develop a serious disease unless imunocompromised.
Big Al, I find it very disturbing that every member of the house, the senate, and the president have taken the oath to defend and protect the constitution, yet a very many of those in congress who have taken that oath, are deliberately trying to undermine the very constitution they swore to defend and protect and replace it with a form of socialism or worse.
It pains me to watch Nancy Pelosi and others on the progressive side, make statements against the president and any who would vote for him, as a threat to the constitution as though they themselves are defending it when they are the ones deliberately trying to destroy it.
Violating that oath of office is grounds for impeachment, much more so than the grounds they used to impeach and to destroy Trump. I wonder if any in congress will raise that violation of the oath as a way to highlight the hypocrisy?

Jim, it was refreshing and hopeful to see many on the RNC convention bring up the importance of the founding and the constitution as being one of the primary reasons for our liberty and the need to promote its principles. It was disturbing to see the absence of such things in the DNC convention.
