I have clearly lived in several different places…..Watching the above video, it really strikes me how undisciplined liberals the Bellingham children will grow up to be.
It would be eye-opening to do a-b-c-d comparisons of Bellingham kids, versus Indiana rural kids, versus outer London kids, versus Munich (German) children…..What a contrast that would be.

Just years of watching kids in college and knowing whether they are saying something they believe is true or saying what they want you to believe is true. I guess after a few years, you get to read body language quite well.

The conservatives don’t have anything like this anymore for the grassroots. Haven’t for years. Various Democrat organizations plus radical groups do. And even above grassroots I don’t see that the Republicans have much. The Democrats do.
It’s all about turn out, at least where I live. Even though within the city limits the liberals/progressive out number everyone else, if you can just increase the turnout of the people most likely to vote against them and their schemes by just a few percentage points, you can defeat them. And to do that you need what the article in the link above talks about. Yet none of the Republicans or Libertarians around here are interested in that.

I have tried to get people where I live interested in what that article discusses but all they are willing to do is complain.
Even so, the last tax increase was defeated with the help of a couple of people I know and myself, and our effort was pretty low tech. It helped that it was the primary election, not the general election when all the rapid anti-Trumpsters came out.
I don’t think the next tax increase will be defeated with what we did last go around.
And what floored me was the county Republicans wouldn’t even help defeat the tax increase. Their stand was they neither endorsed nor opposed the tax increase. And now we have Republicans on the city council trying to push through a sales tax increase.
I asked the head of the county Republicans what’s the point of being a Republican if they won’t even oppose tax increases in the highest taxed state in the country? Never got an answer.
