Introducing an addition to the KE Report team – Please welcome Shad Marquitz to the team!
I’m very excited to announce that the KE Report team is growing with the addition of Shad Marquitz, better known to all of you as Excelsior. We have become so busy that it was time to expand our team to continue to keep up to date with Companies and all of our guests.
Shad has been joining me to listen in on most of the interviews throughout the majority of this year to get to know the guests and companies that we have been featuring. You can expect Shad to be joining me on future interviews sharing his insights and asking the important questions for metals investors.
In this segment I am introducing Shad to everyone and discussing how he got interested in investing in resources and then into the resource stocks.

Yes, personally I may comment a bit less than before, but have tried to balance out our wild call schedule and work behind the scenes, with popping on the blog to toss around a few ideas, as I love the community here, and all the different KER contributors.

Outstanding. I am excited about Shad joining KE. This is a great union and KE gets more of a benefit of one of the best and knowledgeable guys in the Precious Metals area. Yes, Cory & I will be working hard to set a good standard in the sector, and thus far our work together has been a blast and rewarding, especially with so many valuable guests that we get to bounce ideas off of. The future does look exciting indeed.
The future would be more exciting if we could shake off the manipulation of pricing on precious metals.
I’ve been waiting for the COMEX to be taken out of pricing for more than 4 decades now;
(I know the COMEX is not that old, but the manipulation has been forever, and probably will continue as long as governments have monopoly over currencies.)
Also, private ‘deep pockets’ filled with OPM (other peoples’ money).

Helium in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Montana…
IHC.v, Imperial Helium Corp. has only been listed for a week.

I’ll take a look at some of those Helium stocks. Are you also following the hydrogen cell plays? Some of them have had nice pullbacks so I was starting to review that sector a bit more.

As i mentioned some time back , i have watched you grow over the years , you SIR, are a credit to yourself, you have worked hard & honed your skills, to get to the point where you are today. Yeah, I wish I had even a tiny fraction of the knowledge or experience that Bob M. has, but he taught me a number of market and human psychology truisms through his writings over the years. Mr Moriarty also offered a number of valuable heads up on companies that have been winners in my portfolio, so I owe him a big debt of gratitude, just like all of you that have been so instructive in my investing journey.
Good idea on bringing Trader Vic back onto the show soon. Keep the good ideas coming.
As for Alf Field, is he still active and doing market analysis? I remember him being quite active in the prior metals cycle, but not so much in this one. Just curious.

Alf Field was from South Africa and I think he moved to Australia, but I have not heard from him for a decade or more. Not sure if he lives. Maybe Tony knows?

Hi Shad…. What’s your thoughts on the, wallstsilver-reditt crowd. They appear to be gaining momentom…. Do you think they can make a difference to the silver market ?
As a beleaguered Silver and Silver stocks investor, it is just nice to see any interest in this sector, and since they are 80,000 apes strong, I’m hoping some of them dig in and stick around to learn more about this tiny niche of the resource sector. Most importantly, I hope a few thousand of them find the silver stocks I’m holding in my portfolio. Haha!
