Joel Elconin, Co-Host of the Benzinga PreMarket Prep Show joins us to recap the volatility this week in the market and the jobs data released this morning. The markets looked bearish to start the week but managed to recover by the end of the week and even on the back of a negative, or mixed at best, jobs report showed some resilience.

Is that better than a Klipsch market? 😏

Here’s a nice new long timeline fact sheet from (ECR) Cartier Resources, for anyone following their exploration and development story:

Lots of green today. Today stocks not only checked their fall but they cheerfully kept on recovering. The lesson is plain, I will not be shaken out of this market short of a major disaster. It’s funny how life works I was selling a couple of months ago and am now again fully invested at better prices, but I know that at any hour and any day the big shoe could drop. The allure is so great that I find it hard to stay out of the market for even a couple of months. It’s like watching the Aussies with their metal detectors gold fever is really a powerful emotion.

Almost exactly 9 years ago, in ’12, GDX had a failed bullish breakout at the 150 week (3 year) moving average. Now the “12” is 21 and we have a failed bearish breakout at the 150 week moving average. Inversions are everywhere these days.
