Despondency and negative thoughts are permeating our society. Many people are resigned to the fact we are on our way to you-know-where in a hand basket.  I, FOR ONE, AM SICK OF IT!

We all need to STAND UP AND BE COUNTED. We need to MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

We need to be fully aware of the topics that are presented on this program, but we need to TAKE IT ONE STEP FARTHER AND DO SOMETHING.

I once told Congressman Ron Paul that his idea about eliminating welfare was crazy. I said, “Congressman, with all due respect, if the government eliminated welfare we would have rioting in the streets.” He laughed and responded, “Al, you don’t have much faith in the goodness of your fellow man do you?”

Let’s take an example from one of the greatest men of our time and show that we have some goodness in us.

On this week’s program, the first hour is devoted to “doing something”. On future shows, we will devote one segment to an example of what we can do.

Common, STAND UP AND BE COUNTED!
