Since these market are a bit boring right now Big Al and Cory chat with Tim Iacono about some political issues. More specifically we touch on a comment made on the site by BJ stating “Notice that NO ONE on either side or in the mainstream media ever mentions cutting foreign aide amid this self-inflicted budget crisis! They’ll close our national parks and veterans’ offices, but no furloughs for foreign aide! If there is one thing nearly ALL American taxpayers can agree on it’s cutting foreign aide. They don’t deserve it and we can’t afford it. Yet our elected officials ignore the issue like the plague, except maybe for a few sideways comments about it being illegal for American foreign aide to go to those military dictators who achieve power via a military coup–Egypt comes to mind.”
