July 1, 2019

Chris Temple joins me to weigh in on all the headlines from this weekend. We start with the Trump/Xi meeting and where the discussions stand currently. Next is the unexpected meeting in North Korea. All this news had the markets starting off up for the day but a selloff is continuing and hitting almost everything across the board.

I don’t use Facrbook. Never have. Does a VPN thwart Facebook?

    BOYS!

Butto O’Dorke is campaigning in Mexico!

What’s Mr. Big Al Korelin say about that?

Can’t agree that trump’s Korean trip was a coup politically for him. It did affect the stock markets for the day following but we’ll wait to see if there is any lasting substance. The little Korean toad that trump met will use the film, etc. to solidify his hold over his people. Kim got his directions from his Chinese visitor a few days back. We’ll live with the nuclear state of North Korea and can’t really do anything about it………….JMO

With all the back-biting on the home front, one might think Trump is in desperate search for a political victory

To those that said over the weekend I did not understand what was happening in Syria and Afghanistan, please listen:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRQW675j6dM
Trump has drawn down troops in Afghanistan from 16,000 to 9,000.
He had stated previously during the 2016 election campaign that America’s presence in Afghanistan was a waste of American lives and that Afghistan was not conquerable if one judges from history.
The nice thing about Trump is that he tends to say what is on his mind bluntly and follow it with action, so you know where he stands. He does listen to reason and is prepared to change his mind if justified.

    Off Topic:

A young pregnant woman was the 65th person this year to be stabbed to death last night in London, England.
Her baby was saved, but whose life is hanging by a thread in hospital.

      Jul 02, 2019 02:07 AM

I think you mean she was the 65th person killed in London not necessarily stabbed.

        Jul 02, 2019 02:04 AM

What I meant is that not all 65 people killed in London this year were stabbed to death. The young pregnant women however was killed by being stabbed.

No. She was stabbed to death.
The police have now re-introduced random stop and search for knives again according to BBC Radio 4 news.

          Jul 02, 2019 02:30 AM

Yeah, I know that. But all 65 people killed in London this year were not all stabbed.

            Jsmindset…..comments…..
The July Deliveries in Silver are now showing a demand count of 951 fully paid for contracts seeking physical and with a Volume of 71 up on the board so far today inside a 4 cent trading range between $15.14 and $15.10. This proves a receipt count drop of 459 demands for physical either getting delivered or were dropped off during yesterday’s attempt to weaken those Resolute Longs. Silver’s Overall Open Interest is where we see the most glaring issue out there, the additional shorts that had to be added in order to attempt to scare these Resolutes, but they (our strong buyers) refuse all attempts to date with the total count now at 220,009 proving the addition of 2,509 more shorts in order to stay this price.

          Jul 02, 2019 02:33 AM

$3.50…….to go…….and back up to $1410………Lot of energy wasted yesterday…
