Key near term market drivers – Bond actions this week and upcoming inflation data
Ed Moya, Senior Market Analyst at OANDA joins me to share his outlook for the key event and data over the new few weeks to months that will be most impactful for the markets. We start with the many bond actions this week. Last time there were a lot of bond actions it drove yields higher. Ed then brings up why he thinks inflation will be the big driver moving forward.

Zerohedge: Buoying bitcoin prices is the news that the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has unveiled plans to launch a new Bitcoin derivatives product that will enable traders to speculate on fractional units of the flagship digital currency. CoinTelegraph reports that CME Group’s Micro Bitcoin futures contract, which is set to launch May 3 pending regulatory approval, will be worth 0.1 BTC. The smaller contract size provides market participants with an additional tool to hedge their Bitcoin price risk, CME said Tuesday. CME’s current Bitcoin contract unit is 5 BTC.

Said it Friday target down was $1717-$1727 I also have it in my head gdx 36/37 at least in this move.. got very close on gold price to the $1730 so let’s see what gives. I’m expecting some more juice up “ however” if the move is done and we break the $1717-$1720 ish are it will negate up and we are moving down as I suspect.
Should be interesting……Gold going for $1750?…. when ever , I think , it is going up… it goes down…. so, Glen is da man…
