I saw this article where billionaire fund manager Bill Ackman shockingly, as someone that is very left-leaning in thought, came out in support of Kyle Rittenhouse. Since it is topical with this weekend’s subject, it seemed worth posting, because it gives me a bit of hope that more people will see beyond the rose-colored glasses of their political ideology to sometimes focus on the facts, laws, justice, and allowing people to be innocent until proven guilty.

In addition, this reaction he had to his own prior beliefs and opinions, shaped by the distorted media, versus what he then saw with his own eyes when he reviewed the evidence was noteworthy. I appreciated the verbal support of due process from Bill Ackman, and it is very unusual that someone with his level of influence speaks out in a sane way, beyond their political affiliation, that may conflict with a popular left-leaning media narrative – so this was encouraging to see. He had to know what a stir this would cause, that he’d face backlash from entrenched ideologs in his political affiliation camp, and still did the right thing anyway.

In addition, I was very happy that he called out the lying and divisive main stream media and chastised them for putting so much bias into their reporting. Good for Bill, and we need more people to do what he did and stand up for what is right, even if it is politically inconvenient for them at that time.

“Media and political bias are dividing our country and destroying lives. While we have not heard the entire trial, based on our assessment of Kyle on the stand, we believe that he will be found innocent by the jury.”

Even if solar and wind power in theory were “free”, they are certainly neither cheap or green.
They are not the Pfect solution.
Solar power technology only works when the sun shines, so there has to be back=up capability.
But worse than that it constantly degrades over time, typically at a rate slightly greater than 1% per year, has a 20 year life and ends up as unrecyclable scrap, which all-in-all generates electricity at a cost about twice that of coal.
Wind power is even worse “free” energy. It is capital intensive to start and needs continual maintenance over its ten year typical life, and is even more expensive than solar, per kilowatt-hour over its lifetime. (Again only working when the wind blows, but not too strongly.)
You’re supposed to just fall in line. Don’t question Psyopspsaki….or Uncle Joe…you will have less energy and it will be more expensive…and you will like it….or else…now roll up your sleeve for old squirty as Dale Gribble would say…Don’t make Uncle Joe angry…he has quite a temper, you know…

The prosecution in the Rittenhouse case was extraordinarily dirty.
After Rittenhouse had testified (which experts think was a mistake) the prosecutor tried to introduce blown-up footage of drone coverage. The judge denied admission of this evidence.
Kyle had testified that he never pointed his gun at any of his victims, except to shoot when specifically threatened.
The drone footage, that the prosecutor attempted to introduce as rebuttal of kyle’s testimony, appeared to show Kyle pointing his gun at his attackers prior to the attack. I am told, however, that in blowing-up the drone footage, pixels were added. (Adding pixels does happen in extreme enlargement of surveillance footage.) The interesting thing, however, was that this new footage appeared to show Kyle pointing his gun for a left-handed shot. Kyle and the slinging of his rifle are, in fact,both right-handed.

It would not surprise me if the psychology of the jury caused them finding Rittenhouse guilty of a misdemeanor infraction, e.g. discharge of a fire-arm within city limits, while finding him not guilty of murder or attempted murder.
I have not read the charges brought, however, and the prosecutor appeared so incompetent that he may not have included this option for the jury.

In this example, he’s making the case that Kyle was trying to stop and shoot shoplifters (a completely BS statement of falsehood), and that is a complete lie. He went there to protect businesses, was cleaning graffiti off businesses, putting out fires, and providing medical assistance to people that were hurt. He even gave his bulletproof vest to a friend at one point, because he clearly wasn’t planning on getting into any altercations. There were disingenuous main stream media outlets that parroted a lie that Kyle was running around shooting protestors (just there for standing up for equality – the real fib), and this was 100% fabricated, 100% not true, and none of them retracted it, but people like Russell bought this lie hook, line, and sinker.

Anyone that actually watched the video evidence, when it first actually happened initially, or again in this courtroom almost a year later, can see clearly that there people chasing him on the street intending him harm, then physically assaulting and attacking Kyle, kicking him to the pavement, swinging skateboards at his head, trying to take his gun, pointing a gun at his face as advancing, and people shouting to execute him. No Russell, that isn’t looting, and those people shot were already convicted criminals and nasty people, and their aggression towards Kyle was met with deadly force in self defense. To frame it as Kyle going out and shooting looters is wrong, untruthful, and bogus, just like most of Russell’s comments.
