Cory
December 20, 2021

Justin Huhn, Founder and Publisher of the Uranium Insider joins us to provide a macro update on the Uranium sector.

We start with the supply and demand factors he is watching mostly focused on the demand side coming from current new reactor startups. We then discuss the investment side of uranium in terms of new bigger money players entering the fold. Finally we discuss the pullback in the Uranium stocks and if Justin thinks it’s the bottom of the selloff.

Why Did Nuclear Power Fail The First Time Around?
By Leonard Hyman & William Tilles – Nov 23, 2021
    .
“COP26 and other efforts to fight climate change have put nuclear power back in the spotlight for many governments and institutions”

“Nuclear energy failed to gain a significant portion of the energy mix when it first broke onto the scene due to a failure in the industry to take a holistic approach”

“This time around, it seems the industry is eager to deal with not only cost but also economic, social, and environmental issues”

BDC – Yeah, good Cameco chart as a bellweather for the sector. Nice to see where the lower 2 levels of support come in. I prefer using URNM now as the U stock proxy, as the better weighted and allocated Uranium Miners ETF.

Here’s the largest Uranium company in the US, that also can produce both Vanadium and Rare Earths, striking a new agreement for production of Rare Earth metals and alloys. This is a nice play on diversified specialty and critical metals.

Are The Ferts on fire, they could be the next big wave since they have been dormant since 2009. DT

      Dec 20, 2021 20:05 PM

Yeah, the last 2 times we had Matt Geiger on the show he talked about the nice moves in the Ferts, in specific, phosphates.

        Dec 20, 2021 20:45 PM

Hope the Ferts are on fire but I haven’t seen it so far. I have some AGCCF, IPI, MOS & NTR and they have been doing good. I see some nice charts with a good trend and a few pay a small dividend which is nice. But fire – have I missed something?

          Dec 20, 2021 20:00 PM

Ferts on Fire, it was meant as a bit of a joke, when you were a kid didn’t you ever see Ferts on fire, I guess it’s just my sense of humor, but I do think the fertilizer stocks are going to have a good year in 2022. As referenced by the article above. DT

Might just be me but it appears it has been capped at .30 cents for quite awhile. I sold most of it off about 6 months ago but have been buying it back recognizing I won’t get a full position until it gets convincingly in the upper .30s. Old suspicious me feels a mysterious hand on its throat because of its resource.

    Dec 21, 2021 21:04 AM

Hi Ex, Group Ten Stock should be flying off the shelve, instead it sits and groans, and groans, and groans some more and than it burps! The shelf is bending heavily under the weight of most of these resource stocks and that is when you know you are at a bottom. Most investors only understand a bottom when they go to Freddy’s Anchor Bar in Fort Lauderdale Florida. DT

Haha! DT – you summed things up well. Bottoms up!
