LithiumBank – DLE Test Work Reports Up To 60X Grade Increase and Production Of High Purity Lithium Concentrate At Boardwalk

November 1, 2022

Kevin Piepgrass, COO at LithiumBank (TSX.V:LBNK) joins me to recap the news today highlighting results from the Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) test work at the Company’s Boardwalk Lithium Brine Project, in Western Central Alberta. This test work is very important to move the Project forward as it will directly feed into the upcoming PEA.

The keys notes from the DLE test work are outlined as:

  • 93% Lithium Chloride recovery achieved in under 60 minutes of extraction processing.
  • Testing produced a lithium concentrate with a range between 35-60 times grade increase over the initial raw lithium brine concentration level.
  • High purity lithium concentrates between 2,500 – 4,000 mg/L (4 g/L) achieved at the end of the DLE process

I have Kevin further explain each of these results and importantly how this filters into the PEA. We also discuss the Company engaged to do the test work, Conductive Energy Inc.

How do the 93% recovery compare to the 80% that Lake Resources just released from their demonstration plant?

Hatch has done a great job at Lithium Bank

Btw Hatch is also involved at Lake Resources

Lake’s Kachi will probably be the first commercial DLE project

If the 93% recovery are as good as I think this could be massive

The numbers seem to be in line with what E3 achieved

    84% recovery with 100x concentration
    98% recovery with 50x concentration
