Hi AJ… thanks for the posts… but not sure the story is credible… looking at the maps, it appears the Russians are executing a pincer movement in a proper fashion… to me that implies the Ukrainians are more subject to heavy losses trying to hold the strategic city… so say it’s not important before being forced to retreat… -not sure, just my opinion.
Bakhmut is of limited strategic value – just Russian propaganda value if they somehow take it. Losses are awful on both sides, but it is bleeding Russia badly. Who cares about a completely bombed out city? The crossroads will still be targetable with long range 155 rounds, doesn’t help Russian forces.

Yes, the US imported Nazi’s after the war. Yes, there were eastern Europeans that were associated with the Nazi party that moved to the US, or stayed in Europe and became powerful leaders that influenced policy, Kurt Waldheim is a huge example – they were everywhere because the Nazi’s were good administrators. And by the way, they were against communists so many in the US were eager to use them. So what? Irrelevant to Ukraine today.

And by the way, South Front is registered in Russia and is controlled by the gov. It’s like listening to NPR, CBC, or the BBC. Total propaganda, but has a value to see what their argument.
