I am not an economist…..just an old man, who has lived long enough to understand most things.
Mark my words. After a year or two of transient inflation, we are heading into a depression.
Not deflation, but depression. The Federal Reserve has simply drained too much money out of the economy. Combined with the insane lock-dock for covid, which has killed production and destroyed supply chains, the world economy is seriously impacted adversely, and the U.S. economy diminished even more.

The very fact that Joe has not destroyed the Joe-Hunter emails (In contrast to Hillary’s behavior) guarantees that their contents will eventually be published.
When, however, is important, and it will not be soon.
Will the U.S. ever have old-age limits for politicians? I doubt it.
I just can’t see powerful, corrupt politicians passing legislation that would impact their corruption.
Perhaps, just perhaps, the Constitution may be changed to include older-age limitations.
Clearly, however, Feinstein, McConnell, Pelosi, Biden and other brain-dead wood have to go first, before there is any chance.
No limits in my lifetime, CFS! Too easy a way to loose their precous power.

Surveillance drones are being deployed by the New York City Police Department over Labor Day weekend to monitor “large gatherings” of people in their own backyards. That statement alone should send chills down all of our spines but I imagine most will just shake our head because news like this is no longer shocking. But our complacency is misplaced; they are normalizing the police state before our eyes.

However, in my opinion, there is a problem with that.
Does the money supply need to be controlled…….I believe that answer is: YES !
That leads to the question of “Who do you trust to control the money supply ?
(I personally trust politicians even less than I trust bankers.)
So I have a serious problem with just abolishing the Fed and leaving it up to politicians.
It as often been suggested to tie the money supply to something like gold, which historically has grown on average at a few percent a year, which approximately averages to the growth of the economy, and this worked during the nineteenth century.
But during the nineteenth century the U.S. was a small, growing fish in a big pond.
Today the U.S. is a big fish in a pond that contains other fish eager to grow.
I.e. I believe international trade can totally disturb correlations between money supply and inflation. Tying the money supply to a “real thing” like gold will not work well.
Frankly, I do not know the best solution.
A point is that ‘knowledge’ especially knowledge of the natural world is more valuable than money or gold. Survival of a system relies on the generation of new knowledge of the natural world…whatever the money system it must be consistent with the generation of knowledge of the natural world….
It looks like the Fed under Chairman Powell is the only thing that stands between us and the establishment of the globalist agenda (destroying the US economy and ending commercial banking, breaking up the union, depopulating the world, etc.). I was never a fan of the Fed, but when you see how the past several years have transpired, with the replacement of LIBOR by US controlled SOFR, putting the ECB in a bind (which is the basis of Davos power) I am quite pleased. Follow Tom Luongo who IMO has been the best analyst – interpreter of such world events.
