Korelin Economics Report

Look to the smaller gold stocks as a barometer of optimism and speculation in the sector

Jordan Roy-Byrne joins me today to first recap the recent monthly and quarterly close for the precious metals. Gold just had the second highest monthly close in history and the highest quarterly close of all time.

On the gold equities side, stocks are still a long was from their highs of almost a decade ago. So there is a big disconnect there. However the juniors, and a lot of the lower quality/marginal plays started moving higher last week. This is very telling when it comes to investors outlook for the stocks.
