That was not my point at all.
My point, in this case, is that when there is an issue that is as important as medical care and payment for it I don’t believe that the govt can just pass a law and make everyone conform.

When someone makes you do something against your will, such as stay inside of a place by them standing in front of the door (imprisonment), or forces you to withdraw money out of your account from an atm (robbery), or anything that is to make you do something against your will is in most cases a crime and punishable by the full force of the law. That law being the freedoms we as Americans have with our Constitution.
Forcing me to purchase a product that I do not want is CRIME! That is not freedom.
This is what the Supreme Court should be looking at when they take this up. If they pass this as being “Constitutional”, they deserve to be removed from their posts.

Far too many people know nothing about our country and our Constitution. Public schools will not teach our children it anymore. Therefore they are easily led astray by anyone that comes along offering them something for nothing.

During the 1980’s here in Canada, we had a new party formed…it was called the REFORM PARTY led by a fellow named Preston Manning…one of the “planks” in their platform…was to have referendums on major topics such as abortion, death penalty etc…Anything of “major importance” to the nation…”let the people decide”…they got a few members elected and then the whole thing got merged into our historical CONSERVATIVE PARTY…it was an idea…that was too early…the people weren’t ready here, for not being dictated to andcouldn’t handle actually having to think for themselves…if this were to happen today…perhaps a different result would occur if somebody came forth and pushed the idea…Celente is trying to create such a movement to make this happen in the States…check it out if you haven’t already heard about this.

Why do you insist on trying to rationalize and reconcile the actions of 535 dishonest (excluding Ron Paul) people that clearly do not work with in the construct of a constitutional republically elected governing body.
We have been, and continue to be ruled by a group of amoral compromised political adventurers that lack any resemblance of principles, logic, integrity, honesty and/or any manifestation of stated constitutional understanding as laid out in the United States Constitution.
We are ruled by a subversive, treasonous group of globalist placeholders that have no intention of adhering to a lawful constitutional mandate that has guided this country for two centuries.
I simply do not understand why you continue to try to place a round peg into a square hole.
The shear scope of the lawlessness of this current administration as well as the diabolical deceit of the last three before it is so pronounced that it is clear that constitutional governance has been lost.
Who in the heck do you keep trying to convince of these obvious illusions of grandeur.
I am asking for a real and intellectually honest dialog on this subject matter.
There are many incredible folks here that are very smart indeed, and I truly relish the deep intellectual dialog of the group, but yet, I get the sense that the group in general refuse’s to breach the very meaningful demarcation line of the dysfunction and downright lawlessness of the political hierarchy that controls the ugly truth of our situation.

Below is a letter I sent to my Congressperson exactly two years ago.
It is on point with Al’s multi-tasking connecting flight qestion.
I offer it for your consideration as an open letter.
I hope it makes a point or two.
Dear Mary Jo Kilroy,
Thank you very little for ruining our country.
I had always found it dishonest that FDR sold Social Security as Insurance and described the payments to support the now insolvent program as premiums.
In court his lawyers argued that it was not actually insurance and the payments
were a tax. Why did they do that?
Mary Jo you and your colleagues have constitutional authority to levy certain taxes on us. What you and your colleagues do not have is the constitutional authority to compel us to pay premiums or purchase any other product. If you do then I may unfortunately be compelled to buy a General Motors vehicle in the near future.
That is of course if you still let us own our own cars.
If the fiasco you call “healthcare reform” stands the result is our country will have become what thousands of the honored in Arlington fought against.
Go past the Lincoln Memorial;
walk up the Honored Hill;
watch the ceremony;
see the endless ordered ranks;
and if you do not cry;
you will know why;
why we are
no longer free.

As I understand it, I have God Given Rights. The only way the government can take them away is for me to Sigh a paper and give then the Authority to do so. In much of what is going on now, I have not given the Government the authority to supersede my authority.
If the government passes a law and it tries to take authority over my God given rights, then I have no recourse than to contest that law.
In the mining business if you legally stake some claims, they are yours. The Law states that you have the right to forcibly extricate anyone who tries to take them(over-stake).
Enough said.

I agree with you completely. I will say what some may not be able to say, because of their position or station in life. Like our lovable, Big Al, who serves many interests and must give a platform for many different viewpoints, has many sponsors, who may or may not agree with his personal views, he has to be careful about what he says.(I understand that) Especially since ‘big brother’ with his “Echelon Dictionary” is watching everything we say; emails, texts, telephone chats, etc., I think prudence is warranted. But hey, I can say it, and the big ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZER’O’ is just a slick, snake-like, despotic tyrant, and I believe he is smart, and therefore knows exactly what he is doing, which makes him mal-intended or evil, along with his many, many cohorts. Anyone who actively tries to destroy his own country’s freedoms, sovereignty, borders, language, culture, military, currency, economy, social and civic support systems is a traitor, pure and simple. It is evil to strip people of their God-given rights. It is evil to take away people’s God-given freedoms. Justice Thomas usually does not pose questions but if he does on this important topic they will be good ones. Scalia will have some great questions. It will be intersting id and what Kennedy is concerned about as he is likely the deciding vote. As for the left side of the bench it will be like Steve Liesman false premise white house talking points questions of the day.
