Predatory Capitalism vs. Real Capitalism.
Many of the actions of Wall Street are perfect examples of predatory capitalism. If we are going to survive economically this must be stopped.
Ellen Brown and I discuss an example of a much better alternative.

Aftenoon Lynn,
Ellen has told me that she is very critical of the Fed.
She has told me that she is very critical of Wall Street as many of its actions are truly predatory capitalism as I define it.
I will do some more research. Obviously Mr. North, who I have never spoken with, has no use for her.
At this point, I will rely on my research and pointed conversations with her.
I, by the way, am not sure that she is a left wing attorney. Maybe yes and maybe no. Let’s see what I come up with.
I would bet that, as always, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
You do have my curiosity peaked!
Back on this issue shortly,
Big Al
One other comment Lynn,
She is a regular contributor and friend of Bill Murphy. That is actually how I got to know her.
Big Al
Sorry Lynn (not really!),
One last comment.
Just talked to Murph (as in Bill Murphy) and he said that he thinks that Ellen is one of the greatest free thinkers out there and he completely disagrees with Mr. North.
We’ll see,
Big Al
Good morning Al.
I haven’t read much of the Market Oracle as of late. Nor much of Gary North’s works either.
I just was not expecting to see such criticisms of her and her works.
I do think you are probably right with, “the truth lies somewhere in the middle.”
Have a great day!
Lynn
AL, & ELLEN. I think state banks are a great idea, a bank run by the people of the state, for the people of the state, therefore taking the crooks in wall st. out of the equation, this could only be a good thing for small business, who would then have assess to funding to expand , seen as how wall st is not lending to them .
Hello Irishtony,
Absolutely right regarding state run/owned banks, and of course, banks tied directly to the real assets, au/ag. I think that’s as broad as the centralized control of banking should be. It should stop at the state borders. The less centralization the better and safer and more freedom.
Amen, Mr. C

Terrific articles and other cnnetot Honestly I favor how it is ordered. I’m sure contemplating ourselves generate income may be got in touch with when ever there’s a new challenge along below. I’ve bookmarked as their favorite your blog post thanks a lot!
Mr. Irish,
I believe that is the point that she was trying to make.
Remember, you can run but you cannot hide!

Hi Al, Irishtony, I like Ellen Brown she makes sense about that we need a state bank tied closer to the people. Like we people having gold/silver close to us, and not locked away far from home and very near if not in the pockets of those crooked banksters in Wall Street. The BRICS have a lesson we could follow here in this country namely no more Fed and throw the bums out and return to the gold/silver standard and elect Ron Paul.
Morning Dennis, I agree with everything you are saying.
Best,
Big Al
Just a bit off topic, but I’m working from my home office today and watching Pres. Obama speak at Florida Atlantic U. trying to justify his tax increase on the rich plan. I cannnnnnnot believe the euphoric atmosphere there. These kids are literally living in a fairy tale land getting the wool pulled over their heads. He’s a smooth talker taking money from these very kids with the burden of crushing debt. Very sad. I hope there are enough US voters that look at the current and future realities and what’s really happening right now with the economy and freedoms. It’s imperative that the tragectory changes and I fear a second term would be much more radical than the first. He actually just said “I believe the free market is the greatest force for economic prosperity”. His record couldn’t be further from the truth.
Yes Brad. Sheep have been chewing the cud of those jackasses’s crap for the past 6 years and will continue too all while team obombya meets with the muslim brotherhood aftergiving them over $1.5 billion –> http://www.christianresponsealerts.com/2012/04/isn%e2%80%99t-this-special-obama-officials-meet-with-muslim-brotherhood/ <–
“You will sell us the rope that we will hang you with.” ~Nikita Kruschev
Lynn, That was a very interesting comment made by Kruschev!

As a Christian, I believe I’m to be prareped to meet my Maker at any moment, not that I’m a pessimist. As a Minister of the Gospel, in your personal beliefs, do you believe that the end of the world is coming in 2012 and that we Christians should prepare for the true ‘end’ rather than be seeking places to “ride out the storm” as lots of other folks seem to be doing? The consensus seems to be that the end of the world, ‘as we know it’ is coming, but we just need to survive it and adjust. Do you believe we’re going to have any options?
Brad, it sure does seem that way.
Big Al
Lynn, what does one say to that… I read a lot and haven’t heard that yet… but not surprised.
I read the MIT authored peak civilization report issued recently. Not something you’ll see on mainstream media for sure. This is the follow up to the controversial 1970’s report that suggested future disaster. 1970’s forecast is trending almost perfectly by the way. This new report suggests that 30% of the world’s population will be decimated by 2030 following global economic, starvation, food/water, disease, war etc. etc. For fear of being labeled a complete conspiracy theorist, which I’m not, doesn’t this make logical sense?
I see no reason not to buy more gold and silver at this point as I see no political will to change things in the near term.

Brad, thanks for the link. I just printed it out.

Hi Al, when I as soon as got on this link its stunk of `the global warming hoax` and the sure enough click on `The Club of Rome` then it goes to youtube check out Alex Jones 2008 of infowars he saying these guys are The Council of Foreign Relations(CFR) the people behind Obama, the fascist Banksters and the New World Order
Another person that comes to mind who would profit from this kind of scare tactic is Warren Buffett, solar & alternative energy stockholders…. `CFR` people are real psychopaths, they hate the middle class and people in general. Sounds like the crowd that turned on Hilter.
HI Denis,
Please clarify your comment above regarding the link and the global warming hoax. I am a bit confused. Which link were you referring to?
Regarding your second comment, I agree with your comments regarding profits. Is Warren Buffett heavily invested in solar and alternative energy companies? (There are only so many hours in the day and I can only follow so much. That is why this site is so valuable to me!)
Thanks,
Big Al
Hi Al, Brad link http://www.moneytrendsresearch.com/perk-civilization-mit-research-team-predicts-global-economic-collapse-and-precipitous-decline/ also Buffett is is vested in these alternative energy but to what extent I`ll have to get back to there. He`s mostly a conventional stockholder. He`s wealth is like that of a country, he`s into massively into coal, nuclear, energy all across most of the states.
If you read through the opening pages of The Creature from Jekyll Island, and learn about the history of the “Eastern Banksters” you will see that the Fed was formed to protect the “Big Dawgs” at the expense of the little puppies. While I would stand up here and applaud vigourously, I would not be surprised to see this uprising met with some sort of Fedregulation. Why? Because as was stated here, it just makes sense. And that take Bigdough out of the pockets of said Banksters. It really is a shame, from where I sit, that there seems to be no Hamilton, Lincoln or Kennedy around, ready to take back control of your countries finances…….and what really concerns me is that while, at the moment, we “seem” to be immune up here in Kanada, I suspect that it is a matter of time before something goes “bump” in the night. At least y’all got the right to defend yourselves. Us? Not so much.
Keep up the good fight gents. I appreciate all y’all do.
Go Ron Paul.
Kevin, keep your comments coming they are absolutely great!
Bump in the night for you guys? I certainly hope not!
Big Al
I`ve read quite a few articles from Mrs. Brown. I like the way she exposes what is really going on and how illegal the powers that be`s actions are. Now if she and Tarpley would put their heads together, we might get the initial exposure necessary to push “raw materials economics” to the mainstream and have currencies issued based on natural law instead of the crooked ways of the current political regimes.
MissiveDuTexas, great point my friend!
What did you think of my recent conversation with Clete?
Big Al
Al.
I liked the exchange with Dr. Clete. Two open minded individuals looking at a problem usually come up with very interesting things. I do believe the Royal Institute of International Affairs all the way back to the 19th century used George Louis Beer`s research and concluded they had to get to our kids to subvert the american culture of liberty. Carroll Quigley, in Tragedy and Hope, states that exactly.
So we have to look at education, and favor diversity and liberty in that field as well.
Just my two cents.
Again MissiveDuTexas,
That is worth much more than two cents!
I have not read “Tragedy and Hope” and will take a look at it.
Best,
Big Al
Simply wish to say your article is as amnzaig. The clarity for your submit is just excellent and i can assume you are an expert on this subject. Well with your permission let me to grab your feed to stay up to date with coming near near post. Thank you one million and please carry on the enjoyable work.
Get ready for a long read with a new look on world history. His insights should be thought at high school levels. The last few chapters are where the british oligarchie`s plans are laid out. So take your time, savor the work long enough to be internalized. I usually have two or three books going at the same, and this one was part of the pack for a long, long time.
For those who like reading stuff like Biblical genealogies, I`d suggest The Anglo-American Establishment by Carroll Quigley. If you suffer from insomnia, it is truly a cure! But all the individuals mentionned have their descendants influencing society in every country mentionned, and that is very, very valuable information.
Al, Ellen Brown is a breath of fresh air, thank you having her on your show. I`m going out to buy her books and read them for pure enjoyment. Oh yes I like reading corporation taxation, constitutional law as well. Years ago when taking a year of contract law in college I said to my teacher that since in 1974 that Congress gave back to Robert E. Lee his citizenship saying that it was incorrectly taking from him after the end of the civil war, and he should have had it to begin with, restored since there was not succession, and because the north had reclaimed or had restored the union. Then because of that fact of restored states and no succession had taken place, then it was unlawful to have had some of the several states not allowed to vote for the for the present amendments, that was the 13th, 14th, & 15th. Not all of the states of the union had had the opportunity then to vote for the said amendments in the first place, they like that of Robert E. Lee were not allowed to vote for the said amendments that constituted that those several states were prevented from lawfully voting for should have been allowed to vote. In the constitution because if even one state were not to vote the entire vote was unlawful. Because of whatever reason its unlawful. Now that is the same thing that happened to the election of G.W. Bush in his election in 2000. Florida was not allowed to vote or prevented from voting as well. As futhermore Bush`s election was not decided in the House of Representatives as it should have been, but was decided in the Supreme Court. Well to end this story, to my law teacher that the 13, 14, & 15 amendments are unconstitutional he said yep they are from this point, because of the way the voting was unlawfully done in the first place. Yes Al, I hope all things are working out for you…
Hi Al,
I just looked up Ms. Brown through google and came across a Gary North piece posted on Lee Rockwell. I continued on a link in that piece and am now reading this –> http://www.garynorth.com/public/department141.cfm <–
I don't know how she feels about Gary North, but this seems to point to a different Ellen Brown than the one I am listening to on your show.
Thoughts? Answers?
Thanks,
Lynn
