At the risk of repeating myself:
The problem with Obama and those who sponsored him into power is that they do not value democracy. They dispense phony democracy as opium to the masses, but in reality, just as in Europe, the idea is to limit democracy and the rule of law, more and more. (Aside: Greece and Italy are already run by unelected technocrats. Schaeubele even suggested that Greece’s elections be “postponed”, for the good of the EU banks people. They are using what is known as the “salami tactic”. You cut off one slice after another, making sure you never chop off too much at one time, and you keep doing this until the democracy salami is all gone.
But all this is happening via a stealth process. Only people who make the effort to pay attention are aware of this.
The group of which Obama is a member, the so-called elite, are on a mission to reorganize the world along autocratic lines. What we are witnessing is the rise of “Ceasarism,” the deliberate deconstruction and abolition of the Republic. US citizens are being acculturated to rule by decree. This isn’t just run of the mill lust for power. This is deliberate agenda. Laws and policies are being enacted to the end of intimidating and if need be, “removing” dissenting voices. The ongoing efforts to bring the internet under control, laws to arrest and detain indefinitely citizens who have not committed any crime, simple on the suspicion of future crimes are only two examples. They push as far as they can and if there is too much blowback, they retreat, regroup, reassess and then try again until they are successful.
America ain’t America no more. This is post-America.
The false/naive hope of change through the ballot box keeps the game going. Should Romney become president, don’t believe for a second that he will reverse these laws. He would reverse Obama care and play the constitution-loving hero, but in the end he would have as much respect for it as GWB. The hope is that he would be less aggressive in pushing the deconstructionist agenda. In other words, pick your “devil.” In other words, we are reduced to chosing the lesser evils. (Not trying to be offensive here. Perhaps overstating my point at bit in order to make it. But really, only a little bit.)
There’s my rant for the day.

      Apr 17, 2012 17:38 AM

This is the kind of stuff I’m talking about. From Celente:

“In this Trends Journal we outline, step by step, how our Constitutional rights are being abrogated. (George) Orwell would have loved this one. What has happened is the Attorney General has just instituted new guidelines.”

“They are now allowed to be listening to what we are saying right now, listen on your cell phone, watch every stroke of the keyboard that you make. Everything that you say and do, they are now watching you, and have the right to do so under these new guidelines for five years, even if you are no threat at all.

What they have done is they’ve put in these algorithms to determine whether or not you are a current or a future potential threat to the United States of America. If you had Big Brother under Orwell, you have Big Brother now and they are watching you.

A woman who is our (Trends Journal) operations director told me, “When I was in my late teens I became very rebellious, and I got in an argument with my grandmother. I asked her, ‘How could she have stood by? How could the German people have stood by and watched the Nazis take the Jewish people away?’ She said, ‘You don’t understand. We didn’t lose our rights in one day….

“We didn’t lose them in a week or a year. It was slowly taken away from us, until you had no rights at all. Then, if you spoke out they would take you away and no one would ever hear from you again. You couldn’t even talk to your neighbors.’

She was in a bowling league. She (her grandmother) said, ‘You couldn’t talk to the people there. You were always afraid of who you were talking to because they were going to turn you in.”

Here is another story. I used to date a wonderful woman, for a number of years, Marie Pierre. She was from Paris and her mother was a professor at a university. Her aunt was 14 when the Nazis marched into Paris.

Her family was very well to do and I asked her aunt, ‘How could your family have stayed behind and not left before the Nazis came in?’ She said, ‘I’ll never forget that night, Gerald. We were listening to the radio and they said that the French troops had repelled the German troops over the Belgian border.

The next morning, we woke up and the Nazis had occupied Paris.’ I said, ‘You must have known this was going to happen.’ She said, ‘Gerald, the people that stayed behind thought they had too much to leave behind.’

That’s what is going on now. This is coming down right in front of our eyes. Our rights are gone. The people are going to wake up one day. It’s happening (again).”

        Morning Peter,

First of all, thank you for taking the time to write the above comments.

I am absolutely amazed by historical events. Not just Nazi Germany (although that was a horrible point in history) but events like the inquisition, the Crusades, the way Native Americans were treated in the U.S. and the list goes on and on.

There has to be some kind of point to it. I have to believe that God is testing people. There really is no other answer to me.

Many people have certainly failed that test!

        Again, I appreciate your comments,

        Big Al

I know the “decider” thought he was running a democracy, but he was only part of a system called a republic.

“Hence it is that democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and in general have been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths… A republic, by which I mean a government in which a scheme of representation takes place, opens a different prospect and promises the cure for which we are seeking.” (James Madison, Federalist Papers, the McClean Edition, Federalist Paper #10, page 81, 1788)

Obama is a Communist, pure and simple. He was put in power to carry out the Communist manifesto and implement the globalist NWO agenda. Why do adults in the 21st Century still insist on having this meaningless dialog as if it is a new revelation.

Obama is the centerpiece of a authoritarian, totalitarian leftist governmental regime that has infected this country for decade’s. The illegal alien community and assimilation of non-European ancestry is the foundation that all western nation state’s governing bodies have sought for decades to implement.

The Constitutional Republic for all it’s gut’s and glory was just too good to be true. Now that we as a people have become lazy and apathtic, thus squandering the greatest gift known to mankind in modern history, we now must live through a version of living hell to gain the understanding and perspective that our forefathers had when they said enough is enough to the King and the subsequent slavery and profound disgust of the Monarchy.

Big Al, the ship of Constitutional governance in North America has sailed and the centerpiece of that power struggle is no better found than in the group of 535 Congressional cretins that inhabit the hall’s of Washington DC and you can certainly throw in the defunt Supreme Court of the United States as well.

The time for change from a political standpoint has long since passed…..Now is the time to prepare for the great default and what that entails.

“Why do adults in the 21st Century still insist on having this meaningless dialog as if it is a new revelation.”

Because many good people are now just becoming aware of it. You and I may have been aware of this for years (as if that were long), but to many this is STILL news.

I think we might also want to define a little more closely what communism is.

Communism has many faces. One of the reasons people don’t realize that the communist manifesto (which is also the guiding light for most of the UN policy makers) is being implemented is because when they hear “communism” they hear “Stalinism”, or “Maoism.” Since it is clear to them, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that we are not headed for these kinds of abominations, and they don’t realize that communism is a deeper and broader phenomenon, they conclude that this talk of Marxists in American gov’t are simply exaggerations.

We are not going to see the crude and primitive version of Stalinist or Maoist communism again – for a simple reason. There is no financial profit in it for THEM.

It is often said that China is no longer communist. This is very wrong.

Communism is first and foremost a social agenda. This is what we are seeing in the “free West” today.

We have the marriage between big financial interests (Corporatism) and the neo-Marxist state in-the-making. These parties make very compatible bed fellows, because financial interest is happy to see civil rights eroded and the citizenry controlled and silenced as this allows them to continue their exploitation. In return big, big money supports neo-Marxist politicians, who in turn allow THEM to exploit the people.

Obama is thus a neo-Marxis corporatist.

      Later,

Take Gorbachev, for example. He is lionized because he allegedly ended communism in the USSR. Curiously, he continues to be a self-proclaimed and avowed communist.

        Apr 17, 2012 17:37 AM

“Why do adults in the 21st Century still insist on having this meaningless dialog as if it is a new revelation.”

Because many good people are now just becoming aware of it. You and I may have been aware of this for years (as if that were long), but to many this is STILL news.

Peter, I do agree with your outstanding post.

Your rebuttal is simply one of semantics and word differentiation though. The bottom line is that only about 1.0% of the American population in general give’s a **** about the Constitution and the over arching concept and meaning of the governing body and the span of control contained there in.

This is by design, not an accident!

Whatever you want to classify Obama as, is simply a play on word’s……… Hegelian Dialectic mantra.

Obama the dictator and his oligarchical power structure ilk that inhabits Washington DC are most certainly communist to the core. Marxism is one and the same of all the other descriptions we can use to describe the mindset of these treasonous cretins but there is one thing that is the cornerstone of these people.

They are certainly not Americans in the classical sense and they damn sure don’t give two ****’s about the well being of the country. Not even here do people really understand the full implications of what is unfolding.

They greater population will continue the advance the globalist agenda and the brainwashed, delusional masses will continue to facilitate the mechanism of their own demise.

America and it’s apathetic population will not correct this travesty or take action the to subdue the tyrannical beast. They simply cannot admit to the level of disintegration that has taken place.

Therefore it must collapse before it can be rebuilt. The globalist banking cartel’s, Monolithic Monarchies of old European, North American Masonic brotherhood which includes all American presidents of the last 50 years as well as 99.0% of all congressional members have ensured the outcome. Profit through force is the last phase of a dying empire.

Why anyone of any degree of self-worth, self-respect, intellectual honesty, self-awareness, and even a modicum of knowledge as it relates to the foundation of America could go to a polling station and walk into a voting booth and vote for or participate in this modern day political freak show is simply beyond me and my understanding of a rational thought process.

          Vortex,

Good post. We are clearly on the same page and see all the same things.

I think there is value in identifying WHAT Obama is and to define our terms clearly, however. It’s more than just semantics, because certain terms are part of the very Hegelian dialectic that is directed at us. “Communist” is framed a certain way in this dialectic and even used to distract from the very awareness of how much Obama is a proponent of the social Marxist agenda. You and I know that Obama espouses the social agenda of the communist manifest. I also think that semantics DO matter.

I’ve been discussing/debating communism with a political scientist who posts articles once in a while. He sees the continuation of communism in today’s Russia under Putin but he just can’t see that what the Western elites are trying to do to the world is exactly the same what Putin is doing to Russia. Because of his Hegelian blinkers he has the severest trouble seeing that what is happening in the West is not just “incompetence” or corruption or leftist subversion from Russia. He thinks if it isn’t Stalinism it isn’t communism. This is why I went to elaborate on who Obama is.

You obviously see it how it is.

For anyone who’s interested, here is an email I sent to this political scientist:

          Hi “Bob”,

Here is some material to get you started on a piece titled “Enemies right Here.” At the very bottom of my list of concerns are what former Rumanian communists, who are clearly quite unaware of what America has become and is, think and say.

These people are past middle age and mired in a fossilized cold war mentality. When they think of “America” they think of the America of Nixon, Ford and Carter and Reagan. I know these types of people from former East Germany. They are old-time, cold war communists who still see the US as the “capitalist” foe. The irony is that America is becoming more and more a country that they could love, as it is converted into a quasi-Marxist internationalist entity by old and long-time home-grown crypto Marxists. No need to search for imported causes. Thing is, our corporatized “capitalist” media of the “free West” doesn’t really report on this, no more than Pravda reported on what the Soviet Union actually was.

Maybe we should start Radio Free America. America is running “on the fumes of what it used to be,” as a wise old American told me. This is what is slowing the advance of the collectivist and elimination of freedom of expression agenda, though not by much.

In the West, we now have surveillance in a depth and scale of the general public that would have made the most oppressive Marxist of the cold war era turn a deep green with envy. You don’t notice it, because so far it has very few practical consequences for you. Meanwhile their dossiers on us keep growing, for use of future retrieval and reference.

This article only highlights why we need RFA (the embedded links are also worth following):

          http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/10-reasons-why-nothing-you-do-on-the-internet-will-ever-be-private-again

          Then this posted just today:
The state legislature of Arizona has passed a bill that vastly broadens telephone harassment laws and applies them to the Internet and other means of electronic communication.

The law, which is being pushed under the guise of an anti-bullying campaign, would mean that anything communicated or published online that was deemed to be “offensive” by the state, including editorials, illustrations, and even satire could be criminally punished.

“The bill is sweepingly broad, and would make it a crime to communicate via electronic means speech that is intended to ‘annoy,’ ‘offend,’ ‘harass’ or ‘terrify,’ as well as certain sexual speech. Because the bill is not limited to one-to-one communications, H.B. 2549 would apply to the Internet as a whole, thus criminalizing all manner of writing, cartoons, and other protected material the state finds offensive or annoying.”

          See here: http://www.infowars.com/arizona-passes-sweeping-internet-censorship-bill/

Not as bad as it seems at first glance and we can’t really speculate on why they are doing this? Who is this bill really aimed at?

Then this from the UK: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/9179087/Internet-activity-to-be-monitored-under-new-laws.html

        Jerry,

“Vanity” is the modern day non-speak that cloak’s the true meaning of the descriptive.

“Treason” and a “Treasonous Architecture” is at the heart of our demise. Forget the enemy from the outside, the enemy exists from within.

The country will be destroyed from within, and the “vote” will ensure it’s outcome.

      Votex,
Excellent commentary. The founding fathers new that virtue was vital to good government and that “the laws of nature and of nature’s God” must be followed for the Republic to be successful. In other words the laws established in the created universe and the laws established by the Creator as written in the bible. Our failure is a result of turning away from these basic principles.

        Apr 17, 2012 17:34 PM

        Karen,
The bible is the moral anchor of human behavior as gold is the monetary anchor to fiat currency. Most people don’t even LOOK at the bible – the new testament -specifically.
I appreciate all your input – I appreciate your comments on my interview yesterday, BTW. And like many people on this site, I would really enjoy hearing you present your views with Big Al – give it a thought – you just might like it!

      Morning Vortex,

I am curious as to your comment about “The illegal alien community and assimilation of non-European ancestry is the foundation that all western nation state’s governing bodies have sought for decades to implement”.

      Please elaborate,

      Big Al

        Apr 18, 2012 18:33 AM

        Howdy Big Al,

There really is nothing overly complicated or super-secret about the assimilation doctrine of the elite’s.

It is in all it’s folly, the divide and conquer conquest against the common’s that reek’s havoc on nation states and the follow-on societal degradation in general through multiculturalism.

The playbook of fostering division and chaos is a widely held belief system that is openly known and worshiped at the highest levels of political think tank’s such as the Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commission etc., and used to the benefit of the 1% globally. Power must be preserved at any cost.

Never forget Al, we are dealing with a searing form of mental sicknesses and a very dark-side of man’s psychological shortcomings which is that of psychopaths and sociopaths fully intrenched in edifices of power.

It is as old as the age’s itself and is the cornerstone of an oligarchical construct that subverts the ability of sovereign healthy functioning societies to live at high standards in a cohesive manner.

Indigenous strong societies with small or non-existent enforcement of assimilation pose a threat to power centric governing bodies because they are generally, wealthier, more independent, more educated, grounded and morally based.

Obviously we could discuss theses factors for hour’s and come to varying degree’s of opinions in differing direction’s. But the implementation of the concept is alive and functioning quite well for the elitist that want a full assimilation of all population with cascading abject poverty, thus control over all living species on earth in a more manageable level.

        Respectfully

        V

MR. SHERIFF BIG AL,,,,Have you, asked Jeff, the question,?(which you said you would bring up)
IF, Ron Paul, believes in the constitution, and has been in the congress 28 yrs.
and there are 535 members of congress, and there are suppose to be
15% libertian, there, should be somewhere between 35-50 members,
or RP. friends in congress that believe in the constitution,
WHERE IN THE H… ARE THESE MEN?, or does RP..HAVE ANY FRIENDS
    IN CONGRESS….?
IF you can not point these men out, then there are only 1, out of
535 men that even care about the rights of people,
THEN YOU HAVE YOUR ANSWER……WE ARE ON OUR OWN…..

      Apr 17, 2012 17:06 AM

      Excellent question Jerry,

Where is Romney decrying the erosion (abolition really) of Americans’ civil liberties? Vague references are made to upholding the constitution, but that’s it. This is why there is little to be expected from the political process. Only a miracle can turn this around. I’m not holding my breath.

WHAT IS THE “CONSTITUTION”…….IT is a rule book, written by just & honest men, for the well-being, & freedom of their fellow man, one of the greatest documents ever written……….So what the $£$£ has happened to it. It’s been trampled on by a small group of people, who dont give a hoot about their fellow man. Shame on the American people for allowing this to happen…..I believe the only way the American people will get it back, is for the union to break up . States need to be independent, to govern themselves . Free from the 535 selfish bastards that call themselves congress. Only then will the “CONSTITUTION” be REBORN………..I have so much i would love to rant about to so much more i would like to add. But i think you my friends get my drift…..Respect…..tony.

A pretty good indicator will be the findings of the Supreme Court on Obamacare!

        Let’s see what happens,

The title of is Daily Insight is an oxymoron.
I am reminded of ‘military intelligence’ ‘jumbo shrimp’ and ‘Greater Cleveland’. I could type quite a bit about this topic…
but since I am on vacation….instead I would simply reference all of my previous posts here.

Comments like that are pretty iunoctiaus in light of Romans 11:17-18, 21:But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.

Some 1,200 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails have begun a hunger strike, while another 2,300 are refusing food for one day.
There are currently 4,699 Palestinians being held in Israeli prisons.
While most are facing trial or have been convicted of security offences, 319 are being held under a widely used procedure dating back to British rule, known as “administrative detention” which allows suspects to be detained indefinitely without charge.
“In the framework of (Palestinian) Prisoners’ Day, around 2,300 security prisoners said they were refusing their daily meals, and around 1,200 prisoners said they were starting a hunger strike,” Israel Prisons Service spokeswoman Sivan Weizman said.
The figures were compiled by the ministry on 23 March and adjusted by AFP to take into account the release of hunger-striking administrative detainee Hanaa Shalabi on 1 April.
Another former hunger-striker, Khader Adnan, was due to be released after a four-month term in administrative detention.
Administrative detention orders are initially for up to six months, but can be repeatedly extended by further six-month periods.
The ministry data showed that 3,864 of the prisoners are from the occupied West Bank, 475 are from Gaza and 360 are Arab Israelis or from Israeli-annexed east Jerusalem.
They are being held at 17 facilities across Israel and the West Bank.
Included in the total number are 185 minors.
Figures published by Israeli rights group B’Tselem, which it says were supplied by the Israel Prisons Service, show the same total of Palestinians in custody but gives a figure of 203 minors, of whom 31 are under 16.
The Palestinian data said that 534 prisoners were serving life sentences.
It said that among detainees were 27 members of parliament – the Palestinian Legislative Council.
The number of Palestinians in Israeli jails fell late last year after the release of 1,027 prisoners under the terms of a swap deal with Gaza’s Hamas rulers for the release of captive Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.
Since the 1967 Six-Day War when Israel occupied east Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza, around 700,000 Palestinians have been detained by the military – the equivalent of around 20% of the total population, Palestinian figures show.

“ADMINISTRATIVE DETENTION”……Does that sound familiar. Above RTE news.

        Mr. Irish,

It would be very interesting to me to see just what each of those people were being held for!

RE: It depends on the aaervge time on market. Let’s say that it is 120 days. If you in one month have a 10% increase in price cuts of 4 months worth of listings it’s pretty significant since it signals a much higher pace of price cuts. It could be sellers rushing to try to push the property out of the door while the tax credit was active.

This great nation is in serious trouble…financially, constitutionally, socially and religiously. We have become so complacent and uninformed that we are living in something known as ‘the normalcy bias’. No one take the time to read, study or analyze the financial data, the dismanteling of the constitution but they will in no uncertain terms accept the displacement of God in America. The national debt is so large (interest on debt growing) that we will never be able to repay it. Most are living in the normalcy bias, expecting things to ‘get better’. China is hoarding gold, buying/investing huge amounts of money in mines, leading BRICS, creating its own gold/silver exchange in Hong Kong, while the US continues printing money and promising foolishly that the economy is turning around. With Obama’s new act of aggression against citizens with his internal act of imprisonment, as I call it, we had better see the writing on the wall. Sorry to ramble to much, but I may soon take my family and head to the countryside. Best to all of you…listen to Mr. K and Roger and you will have a change!

It ain`t over till its over the `Cinderella Man` – Ron Paul is still in the race. The movie was a great movie by today`s standard, he came from behind and won the hearts and minds of his generation, as Ron Paul has done and will continual to do till victory over takes him at the ballot box. As God said through Moses to Pharaoh: Let my people go. Ron Paul is saying the same thing to the powers that be. And God Wins, righteousness shall prevail in this land if we only have faith that `greater is he in us than he that is in the world.` And whatsoever I bind on earth is bound in heaven, so we bind all the forces of evil in the name of Jesus, and loose all the angels, who are ministering spirits sent forth to ministering unto the sons/daughters of God(Matthew 18:18). If God is for us who can be against us.

        Apr 18, 2012 18:57 AM

        D.B…great post………great message……..please let me further add,
        ( Iron shapening Iron….)”.
Moses , did lead the people out of Egypt, but, they did go around in circles for
        40 years…..and never found the promise land…..
Heaven and earth are two different places, evil is prevailing here on earth, since the majority of people have reject Jesus, reject God, and have no Spirit within them,
You mention it correctly, “ministering spirit(of God)” unto the sons/daughters of
God….”.IF” God is for us…?, The question will be for those who do not believe,
for God already has a place for his believers….There will be no safety for those
who do not ,by rejecting HIM, ….for the powers of the wicked one reign the earth presently, but, his reign of wickedness will be terminated in the end….

Do not fear for I am with you, saith the Lord….

There is hope, for them that believe, and hope and believing are two different things,
I hope that they may believe in Him..,that who so ever does believe , may have
ever lasting life…..God Bless….and have a great and blessed day…

Hi Jerry, Moses and Israel did get to the promised land, the children of Israel had sent out 12 spies to spy out the land, then they came back with an evil report, but two of them Joshua and Caleb came with a good report saying that we are more than able to take the land which God gave us, but alas those other doubters screwed up the whole work. So they went for 40 years into the wilderness, never to taste of the land of milk and honey because they doubted God`s word. So God had to take another path, to weed out those losers before undertaking the mission to take the land. If we have losers in our camp look what we have got to go through here on this site. Them liberals-Obama crowd are kepting us from the promise land too in a way – free markets not free loaders. Also sinners do has a spirit, but no Holy Spirit in them. Jesus has been invited into us, by us. The world, flesh, and the devil has got everybody occupied for the time being, but wait for the wake-up called when all hell quickens them to start seeing, coming alive for the sweet Holy Spirit`s presence in there lives.

It is really unlvbieeable how damn much drugs those WP devs must have taken when they decided for showing only short versions of the comments _without_ a possibility to expand them via AJAX. I just couldn’t believe it when I first used 2.7 and thought I was too blind to see how it works.. but obviously it is just the way it is.To me, this default behaviour should be considered _broken_, thanks for your plugin.

Comrade Obama and his 15 Czars are doing a great deal of damage using tools outside of the congress and supreme court. The first interesting test will be the June Supreme Court’s answer to ObamaCare. If they block it, we will know we are on the correct path toward saving America. If some or all of it passes America is going into the Dark Ages… the very Dark Days of 1776 and 1861 all over again. I shudder to think what that could bring to my beautiful America whom I dearly love and respect. Only three things Count: The US Constitution, The Bill of Rights and the Ten Commandments. All the rest is just trash and lies. – Traderrog
