We sure do want out gold back. Trust Yankees….NEVER!
When they wear belt buckles in Texas, they want them to shine bright even on a cloudy day. Gotta love them for that.
Gotta love them for a lot of things BJ!

I have roots in Texas…..family was with Sam Houston at San Jacinto….However seems to me there is no way Texas goes forward with this….Texas knows there is no chance to EVER get the States Gold back and it wont help anyone to make a stink…..
You gotta admit, this is an interesting situation!

States rights vs National supremacy. It takes 2/3 majority to allow an amendment to be part of those of our bill of rights……. It will our states that will be what stops Obama and the Banksters in their tracks.
See what Tex wrote below, MNH!

Big Al,
ALWAYS great to hear from Marshall Berol. I was VERY impressed with him when I met him and he is QUITE the gentleman.
And, Marc, a valuable friend of ours!

Who made the decision? Some times friends make decisions they regret, time heals all wounds…Christians forgive and forget….
Exactly what decision are you talking about?
Big and confused Al
Del made a decision to team with Logan for the survival of the company, hopefully ALL shareholders will be rewarded in the end.
It occurs to me that Cyprus and Puerto Rico are about the same size, both about 3 times the size of Rhode Island.
The average income on Cyprus are about twice that of Purto Rico.
Crime on Cyprus is much less than Puerto Rico; until the recent theft of savings of 30,000 people, of course. There are no bars over windows In Nicosia or Limassol, Cyprus, in contrast to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Interesting comparison, cfs

Do you realize in the Big Zero’s Budget proposal due April 10, there will be a large federal tax increase on cigarets to fund pre-kindergarten.
Since when was that a federal FUNCTION, pre-kindergarten! I guess he wants to start Liberal indoctrination earlier.
Do you realize with the employment data out today, unemployment of teenagers, wanting a job is now 24%.
This once grat country is in trouble and the “progressives” just want to keep digging a deeper hole. None of the spending has done anything to create anything but bubbles.
So let’s spend some more……..insanity upon insanity.
Last year if the US government used GAAP accounting the deficit was $6.9 trillion.
Good points cfs

http://www.321gold.com/editorials/wutscher/wutscher040613.html Can gold go up in a deflationary environment, I believe we are headed for a deflationary depression, this article lays out an argument that the velocity of money in The US is pointing in that direction and Japan is trying to turn their deflationary spiral around.
My argument before and still is that when interest rates begin to climb up there will be a massive wealth destruction and now if you look at the flow of money in the hands of the rich it will be very hard to hyper inflate your way out of this crisis. Japan is going to try but the gamble will not pay off in my opinion. DT
You might remember, Machine Gun, that Doc has brought this up in the past. It is scary though isn’t it!

Meanwhile the situations in N Korea and Iran escalate:
The million dollar question is, “will these sanctions go anywhere?
Big Al
Barry,
In order to aid in recovery of stolen goods!
How does one tell one silver dollar or one gold dollar from another?
It really is going to help. NOT!
Barry and CFS,
I guess all I can say is, “The Beat Goes On! (Interesting that this is coming from Illinois, isn’t it.

Hi Al you have seem to have given up on PEM.
Are you and Del still friends?
You no longer have PEM as your sponcer. Can you explain why?
Thanks in advance
James
James,
I can answer part of that.
PEM is cutting back costs in the hope of surviving until better times.
I own stock, and am not selling, but give them only about a 20% chance of surviving.
Nothing wrong with their project, that is apparent, but they were very wasteful in spending and efficiency. Now they have sold off the majority of their project to survive. I see that as protecting the BoD, not the shareholders.
Sorry, Big Al.
Note: I have not sold my shares, even for the five figure tax loss. This is experienced management, which, I would guess, will learn from mistakes and rebuild.
No one really thinks Texas will ask to get the States gold back, do they?
Thinking the pride of Texas would get so steped on like a cigarette butt if they went forward with trying….
