I wouldn’t touch the juniors in the fertilizer market they look very vulnerable to a bigger shake out now.

The seniors are starting to use a little bit of wisdom that I haven’t seen for many years that being they can do a takeover after the the junior’s price falls because money has dried up and they are in the catbird seat.

Gone are the days when the established companies would wait to present a buy out offer because the stock price had risen now they realize that to be successful you influence the market and let the price come to you. Folks it is much crueler environment now. DT

Too many shares and when Al tells you that his portfolio is doing alright I would challenge him any day to show us what his buying price is in the juniors verses the actual price, well DUH! DT

        Very happy to do that.

But remember Machine Gun I have said numerous times the resource portion is certainly not doin well. Am I done with that sector? Absolutely not!

This is way off topic but important if you want the facts regarding the martin/Zimmerman trial. Old news but important.

I agree with Al and David that Passport will be producing and will be the largest Potash mine in the USA. With general foreign country relations getting more and more tense the USA NEEDS to secure a domestic supply of its own potash.

      Well of course it does.

Tom, the US has a free trade agreement with Canada and where do you think most of the potash comes from. DT

Canada…thats the problem…US needs to diversify…like Big Al always says.

Grocery store just hiked the price of shredded coconut by 1/4. Wondering what happened, went to look up the chart — hey, almost looks like silver’s nicer-bottomed sister…

Tired of smart remarks about silver not feeding the hungry, and needing to short silver? How about a coconut tree for diversification, and a helmet for insurance?
