QE Prisons, Fed Endgames, etc. – Let’s take a look at the Fed’s balance sheet
Tim Iacono has been very busy with some family issues so we have been unable to bring him back on the show. He will be back in a couple weeks but in his absence he did post a very interesting piece on the total Fed balance sheet. All I can say is the amount of Mortgage-backed securities and U.S. Treasury securities that have been added to the Fed’s balance sheet since 2009 seem unbelievable. Unfortunately it is all to real.
