How do you make the rich richer and screw the poor?
You make assets increase in value and cost of living rise so the poor can’t save.
What does excessive government spending do?
Answer: It weakens the dollar and makes prices inflate.
So what is Obama actually doing?
He’s making the rich richer and scr*wing the poor, and the d*mb-asses love him, because he’s from the government and he’s here to help you.

Part of Chicago’s problem is precisely because of the City taxes and the State taxes, companies and,indeed, just ordinary people have been leaving.
Of course, it is also a “safe-haven” city, so it has a large number of illegals, not paying taxes.

It used to be the Headquarters of Sears and Boeing, but lost them both in the last few years.
Lake Michigan does connect to the Atlantic Ocean, so it is still a major grains and meat exporting center. However not many firms are still headquartered there.
Many have moved to Indiana. Caterpiller still hQ Peoria, I think. But there was massive industry in northern Illinois until taxes killed it off.

Obama did nothing when he was a legislator in IL -he voted present to everything. So what did people expect now?
Part of the reason he was elected was that he is clean cut and articulate individual-unfortunately this characteristics only as an atty in court to persuade jurors.

I was talking about his house in Chicago, which had zoning changed on it most mysteriously, changing a lot from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands.
