Hey Bob any updates on Novo Resources?

    Mar 24, 2014 24:28 AM

Bloomberg prints a load of rubbish , take everything they say with a pinch of salt. Russia’s economy will grow…They have the hand of Asia & the far east , not to mention Latin America……..& bear in mind Europe needs Russia , more than Russia needs Europe at least for the foreseeable future…ENERGY.

      Thanks Mr. Irish

As usual Bob has put his finger on the real argument and not the “look over hear”argument of the left wing media. Thanks for your clearity Bob.

Bob is one of my more valuable colleagues.

America has a death wish , they are slowly isolating themselves from the rest of the world…..by their actions.

      Mar 24, 2014 24:50 AM

Kind of going in that direction, seems to me.

Putin may be doing what is best for Russia, but NEVER forget Putin is a self-serving thug. No morals.

        Mar 24, 2014 24:45 AM

        CFS……That’s why I gagged.

        Mar 24, 2014 24:14 AM

If Putin had no morals he would have the same attitude towards homosexuals as western politicians and too many women. As for Putin being a thug if that were the case then why is he a moderate nationalist leader and a christian? Why is he trying to promote the church and christian civilization in Russia? If he was a criminal thug I seriously doubt that he would be doing these things. I think Vladimir Putin is trying to provide good leadership to Russia and the criminals and misinformed of the world don’t like it. I’d say that that puts them on thin ice.

If Putin had morals there would still be at least 10 more Russian journalists alive that criticized him. There would be several Oligarchs not sitting in jail, or dead, or in Siberia, because Putin coveted their assets. If he is promoting Christianity I would suggest it is probably to gain popularity with his electorate, more than his morality or personal beliefs.

Steven, ask yourself how a KGB apparatchik acquires a net worth of not less than $10billion and probably about $100billion without being an amoral thug?

            Mar 24, 2014 24:53 AM

            CFS and Steven,

            Probably truth to both sides.

By the way, Professor, do you ever watch “Breaking Bad”? A rather incredible series in my opinion. I have only watched the first season and part of the second season. I am pretty hooked though as I am waiting for something of a blockbuster nature to happen

I assume Breaking Bad is a TV program. I stopped watching TV years ago, as I have commented before. It is still so. I may look up Breaking Bad, so I am not completely uninformed.

    Great comments by Bob M.
Maybe 10K US troops killed, but don’t forget 100K Iraqis killed.
    Clearly negative.
Even worse, in the long run is the damage done to how people feel about the US around the world. You think they like us? Maybe to the face, but behind our backs, watch out for daggers. (Or more terrorists)

      Mar 24, 2014 24:50 AM

CFS….The biggest threat to America…IS NOT FROM TERRORISTS……The biggest threat to America…….COMES FROM THE “CLAN” BEHIND THE GOVERNMENT.

      No argument here, CFS

Hold up JERRY…..Give the Guy or Gal a chance to settle in first…before springing something like that on He or She.

    Mar 24, 2014 24:03 AM

I concurr with irishtony however I would describe the CLAN as a coalition of oligarchs, politically correct special interests, corperate interests and last but not least the tribe and fellow travellers. Clearly their interests are not insinc with the best interests of the western world or even humanity in general.

      Mar 24, 2014 24:56 AM

I view the Klan, if that is what Mr. Irish means, as being a group of ignorant bullies.

James Richards–Dollar Going to Collapse 80% or 90% or More interview by Greg Hunter 24:56 min., March 23, 2014, James Richards, author of the new book, “The Death of Money,“ foresees big inflation because the U.S. dollar`s buying power will shrink Richards predicts, “Imagine gas at $20 a gallon and bread at $10. That`s what we are talking about.“ —– Gold then would be at $7,000 or $9,000 per ounce. And it won`t be time to run out and buy gold, its too late then, you better go out and buy it now, before its too late. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCsm5m89SVM&feature=youtu.be&a

      How are things in California?

        Mar 24, 2014 24:12 PM

I`m moving. To more free milling gold country, up in northern California. Getting ready for the down swing in our U.S. economy, and up swing in gold price. Yet I`m bringing my chemically extracted gold ore with me. Going home to where I grew up, ie., when I left up north in 1983, I left a hard rock gold deposit, there, which is still there, thank God. So I`ll have the best of both worlds to make my money with. ….

I would think that since Russia has a very large land mass, vast resources and educated people it would be very difficult to seriously hurt Russia for very long providing that the Russians have their act together. At best sanctions would be a temporary inconvenience that will become irrelevant.

    Mar 25, 2014 25:08 AM

What I’d be concerned with – as I am sure they already are, is if the U.S. is able to hurt the Russian economy with its sanctioning, any leverage that Russia might have had going into the May meeting with China and the natural gas ‘deal’, is severely diminished. China is out to benefit China, even though both countries share a dislike for U.S. duplicitousness when it comes to economics and foreign policy. I guess we shall see –

The road to global domination is littered with the carcass of many soverign nations and the dead bodies of millions of innocent people. domination requires control of food, energy military supremacy, and global banking and communications. welcome to the new world.!!!!
