    Wash, rinse, repeat…

Change the words you can the meaning

    Now…

Doc, your analysis is always appreciated, however I think you can add more value if you also discuss your upside price targets.

For example you are looking for $1240 gold ideally, and $19.50 silver,
and then a possible significant move.

However to my knowledge you never mention any upside price targets.

What is significant for one person many not be for another…

You sound cranky lately, James. You doing OK?

    Apr 03, 2014 03:31 PM

birdman – thanks for asking. yeah im doing ok, considering.

getting frustrated with this gold price. like watching paint dry

i think another horse racing analogy is in order

      Apr 03, 2014 03:25 PM

That would be great. I enjoyed every one you wrote so far. Maybe you have a story of an underdog that came out a big winner. That might cheer up the troops. I think right now most gold buyers feel they are backing the horse that coulda, woulda, shoulda but that nag just never seems to warm to the track and come through on race day. Meanwhile, the boys here are sounding optimistic depending on their varying time frames. I am less so. Still working the short side which is a lot happier than betting on a home run coming anytime soon.

Hey Bird….our day will come….in the meantime just sippin the mohito’s and chillin out….regards…..

I’m doing the same, Gator. My coffee consumtion has quadrupled since I cut out the booze. And all that extra sugar is going to turn me into a diabetic if I don’t find a way to reduce it. What I need is a machiatto that comes as a sugar free herbal tea!

            Apr 03, 2014 03:06 PM

I think I am getting a coffee buzz!

            Apr 03, 2014 03:17 PM

Hang in there with the sugar. That is why I have a piece of pie with ice cream every single night.

    Apr 03, 2014 03:31 PM

i do have one, ive been considering writing about it. the last few days i felt it was timely and appropriate

    Apr 03, 2014 03:13 PM

tomorrows nfp report will be big.

another big number might sink gold, a bad number you cant blame the weather anymore

    who knows?

    we’ll see tomorrow

my gut tells me it misses expectations, last months was big, this month could fizzle

      Apr 03, 2014 03:33 PM

I don’t know James, my gut level feeling is that it could very well be big.

    Apr 04, 2014 04:19 AM

We got exactly what I was expecting. A 192k NFP print. It did indeed fizzle as I suggested.

Gold got a decent bounce but not enough to break the downward trend or take back $1300

$1300 is not strong resistance like $1340 used to be

    Still down, down, down…

      Apr 04, 2014 04:47 AM

Let’s see just where it ends up today, The GREATER

    Apr 04, 2014 04:20 AM

    That s/b “$1300 is now strong resistance…”

      Apr 04, 2014 04:47 AM

We will discuss that with Gary and Doc within the next, roughly 90 minutes. Rick is off skiing today!
