Too late for getting anything “right”, Marc. Best strategy now is do everything possible to hasten the inevitable collapse; the sooner the collapse, the sooner the rebuilding can begin, and perhaps this next time they’ll get it “right”, but History and Human Nature don’t offer much hope. Meanwhile, somewhere Santayana is laughing hysterically. Ably assisted by Franz Kafka, I’m sure.
