    CFS says:

The lack of profit results from the substantial drop last year in the gold price.

Since I believe the price to be entirely manipulated, current lack of current profitability
becomes less relevant in my mind.
I believe the gold banks, which have been manipulating the price, are now out of ammunition to continue manipulation with strength. I believe, therefore, that gold will rise in price, with only the occasional attempt to knock down.
I look at companies with the belief of a rising gold price in future. That changes the picture.

Good reason to avoid Al's sponsors says:

Every single company profiled here has no cash flow. Yet for some reason they pay Al $1500 a month. That is the type of company to avoid. Thanks for pointing out who is not good at managing their money Al.

    • On May 20, 2014 at 2:12 pm,
      Big Al says:

Every single one of these companies has a substantial amount of cash in the bank. These companies are simply looking for awareness. Do you realize that our $1500 per month sponsorship is a minimum of $1,000 per month less than any other service provides charges. Do you realize that we provide meetings with investment professionals at no additional charge. (Others charge at least $3,500 per day plus expenses or more.) Do you realize that we, more often than not, invest our own capital into our sponsor companies.

Veggieman, do you know anything at all about business?

I would ask that if you choose to respond to me please keep it simple and accurate.

Veggieman, Al, that sounds like something Jerry the ootb (aka the gardener)would say, not you. Ha!

          Big Al says:

I forgot to mention to him, Machine Gun, that we are supporting three people from the sponsorships and that we pay all of our own expenses. (Any idea how much it cost me, not counting Cory, for the privilege of going back to Toronto in March to speak at PDAC? Not to mention the tiredness factor.)

Some people just don’t seem to get it.

Sorry, that just makes me angry!

Al, I don’t want to make you mad as hell but I know you really enjoy your life in fact I would probably bet it doesn’t seem like work at all, by the way, keep up the good job.

Cory ? More wash out so day all go to zero ? i no think so ! diss is a BUY off a live time ! BUY BUY BUY !

    • On May 20, 2014 at 4:23 pm,
      Cory says:

I’m not saying that all the companies will go to zero, but there are still some in the junior realm that have nothing of value. Looking back on the prices of some of these miners and explorers it will for sure look like the buy of a lifetime. We just need to hang in there during the swings.

Pretium (PVG)may be positioned better than any company in the world with 8 million quality high grade oz to start mining in 2016 and an option on 34 million low grade oz at the nearby Snowden project, in a safe & secure country, with maybe the greatest integrity CEO in the business, Bob Quartermain. Yes I do own 17000 shares@$5.22/share.

If the site had a page listing companies in Al & Cory’s portfolios (doesn’t need to be detailed), that would be helpful in addressing concerns about conflicts of interests.

      jhpace1 says:

And Al mentioning every single time he’s on the air if he owns stock in the company isn’t good enough for you? I’m slower than most investors, only changing my stock portfolio every two years or so, and I’m sure the more nimble than myself can’t change and re-post their portfolio online every day of the week for others to read.

      • On May 21, 2014 at 9:57 am,
        Big Al says:

        Thanks Mr. Pace,

That was my response to xlurkr.

      Big Al says:

We are very forthright about what we own and when we are buying or selling. The buy and sells are always given a three day notice.

    xlurkr says:

Actually, no, because the holdings could be insignificant relative to the overall portfolio & a condition (informal or formal) of a sponsorship…

    • On May 21, 2014 at 10:31 am,
      Big Al says:

My and my wife’s overall portfolio is, first of all, none of your business or anyone elses for that matter.

What we have in our disclaimer is all that concerns anyone as it gives our total portfolio which consists of some of the sponsor companies.

For your information, we were just investigated by the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, Securities Division. They contacted me personally, after they completed their investigation, and I was told that our site was completely okay and the attorney who did the investigation told me that, given the fact that we have upwards of 14,000 views per day, it was credit to us that the fact that we only had one complaint (which he said was unfounded) was a positive credit to our site.

You know nothing about either myself or Cory, xlurkr. Your insinuations are insulting. One more time and you will not be able to access our site.

How would you feel if Cory and I made similar insinuations about you. Please be honest now.
