I agree with Rick about the Dow and said that it “…needs to recover by the end of August to avoid further downside” two days ago. BUT, I do think that gold can do well as long as the Dow’s decline doesn’t turn into a crash.

The reason the hedge funds can’t make money any more is because they’ve fleeced the retail investors for all they’re worth and now all that’s left are the hedge funds…. When evil has nothing left to consume, it consumes itself; and so it is with the hedge funds. Agree with Al in essence and in so many words, ‘the free markets have been corrupted beyond recognition’. It has become little more than a washing machine, a money laundromat for organized crime. Thank our Central Bank (The Fed) and its parent, Goldman Sachs.
