The clip shows stone-throwers in Al Khalil (West Bank, not Gaza). They’re next to, and around the same height as, 1000L black water tanks commonly used there so ~1.7m tall: late adolescents rioting, NOT CHILDREN PLAYING. Another one’s visible on the extreme left, around 30s in.
The soldiers aren’t wearing helmets so this looks like a ‘riot control’ type situation. So the shot was probably a ‘rubber bullet’, which explains why the unfortunate youth is able to get away with little apparent harm. (I deplore the soldiers self-congratulation, but they’re 19 year-olds brought up on video games and a simple nationalist version of their country’s current predicament. Weren’t many of us that once?)
It was possible to work this out by watching the video, scanning the (intelligent) youtube comments and using google.

The northern region, Samaria, became known as Israel. It continued to exist as an independent kingdom until its conquest in 722 BCE by the Assyrians. Judah remained independent until 586 BCE, when this region — containing Jerusalem, deemed the capital of the Jewish people by Solomon’s father, King David — was razed by the Babylonians under the kingship of Nebuchadnezzar. Following the conquest by the Babylonians, tens of thousands of Jews were deported to Babylonia, where they remained until freed and allowed to return thanks to the largess of Cyrus the Great. Reinvigorated by their return to Jerusalem, the Jews began to reconstruct the Second Temple, which was completed in 516 BCE.
Despite incessant propaganda by the Palestinians, Muslim Arabs, and their leftist supporters, it is important to recognize that the United Kingdom comprised two separate Jewish entities: Judea in the south, and Samaria in the northern hills. Since the sacking the Second Temple, the Western Wall, the last vestige of this holy shrine, stands on the spot where it was built in East Jerusalem. Other than Muhammad’s alleged ascension to heaven from that city in a dream, there is no other mention of it in the Qur’an. Yet despite overwhelming historical credence, Israel’s sworn enemies (Mahmoud Abbas chief among them), falsely espouse that they cannot understand Jewish claims to this land.
As Roman oppression reached a boiling point 66 years following the sacking of the Second Temple, the Romans once again were faced with a Jewish rebellion. This one was massively repressed in 132 CE, resulting in the slaughter of 600,000 Jews. As further punishment, the Romans sought to blot out Jewish connection to this land (sound familiar?) by renaming it after what was up to then Israel’s worst enemy: “Philistia.” The name became bastardized, and hence the entire area became known as Syria Palaestina, the egregious locution ascribed to this Jewish land in modern times. Just this past week, a rabble group from the “Occupy Boston” ensemble began divisively referring to Israel as Palaestina during their illegal trespass of the Israeli Consulate.
Taken in context of the historical record and the timeline herein, it exceeds credulity that an intelligent person would accept the Islamic narrative claiming Judea/Samaria as Muslim land. Islam and its conquest of “Palestine” did not begin until 633 CE — 1,800 years after the Jewish recognition in Merneptah Stela, 1,600 years past the grandeur of the United Monarchy of Kings David and Solomon, and 500 years subsequent to the sacking of the second Temple.
Post-conquest, Jews remaining in their homeland of 1,300 years were powerless. Forced into second-class citizenship, using a term by famed author Bat Ye’or, they lived in dhimmitude, had no rights, and were made to suffer dearly. Despite being conquered and ruled by no fewer than ten empires, governments, and dynasties which controlled the Holy land prior to the British Mandate, Jews have always inhabited this land. Despite massacres, pogroms, expulsions, and forced conversions, Jews have dwelled in their capital, Jerusalem, and surrounding cities and towns such as Hebron, Nablus, and Jericho since time immemorial. All of these comprise ancient Jewish land that the Palestinians, with impertinence and chutzpah, deem their own. To consider Jewish construction “settlements” in any part of this land constitutes contempt of historical fact.

Yes, the Romans drove the Jews out of Israel, but they were only the instruments of God. When the Jews rejected and subsequently murdered Christ, the true long awaited true messiah, they forfeited/broke their covenant with God, including their rights to the promised land. God then gave them 40 years to accept Christ and convert to the church founded by Christ, afterwards which time God destroyed Israel, and spread the Jews to wander throughout the world. Scripture foretold that the nation of Israel would be exiled into captivity as a result of their own disobedience. However, it also tells of God’s promise to return them to their land. This would not be a one-time occurrence. It would actually occur twice.
The story of God’s plan for Israel is not yet over. In fact one day, she is supposed to become the chief of all of the countries of the world. God’s word is expected to come out of Jerusalem and go all over the world with the message of Jesus Christ. The original leader (Haj Amin Al-Husseini) cooperated very closely with the Nazis, knew of the Holocaust (his memoirs mention it), possibly encouraged it (Dieter Wisliceny testified to this effect at Nuremburg), met regularly with Eichmann, encouraged Nazi puppet leaders to route Jewish refugees to Poland (and their deaths, since the Holocaust was underway there) rather than Palestine, and may have initiated a plot to poison Tel Aviv’s water supply in 1944*.
He hand-picked Yasser Arrafat, who learned guerilla tactics (/terrorism) & likely picked up some ideological influences from an SS Colonel** who’d been sent to Egypt to train Nasser’s security forces (by the CIA – nice move). Even “moderate” Abu Mazen has a PhD in Holocaust denial***; his grand nephew was on West Bank TV saying ‘I and won’t rest until Safed is ours again’. Safed is Tsfat, within Israel’s 1967 borders (ie NEVER been on the table during the peace process). And adorable little kids on Palestinian TV – when prompted – say they want to kill Jews when they grow up. (eg on MEMRI’s youtube channel.)

I agree that a Christian is supposed to love everybody, but that doesn’t mean that we should accept their errors. The Old Testament Jews certainly had the right true religion with the old testament, although even back then many of them had a distorted religion based on the Babylonian Talmud, and not scripture. But today all Jews have a false religion based on the Talmud and they are still waiting for their messiah even after the true messiah has already come. So you can’t group the Jews (or Israelites if you will) before the time of Christ to the Jews after Christ. The Jews before Christ were blessed with the true religion and a covenant with God, whereas the Jews after Christ are a cursed people as they called out to crucify Christ and that His blood should be on them and their children when Pilate was trying to release Christ. And the Jews of today continue to reject Christ. He who rejects Christ is Anti-Christ.
Now don’t get the idea that truth is hateful. God loves truth, and truth is love. The truth is that the Jews need to accept Christ like everybody else as their old covenant with God is now null and void, and they therefore cannot be saved in their Anti-Christ religion of today.
I have to diagree with your way of interpreting the New Testament.
The New Testament states Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done” (Acts 4:24-28).
Did you read that? Yes, the people of Israel were guilty. But so were the Gentiles and Herod and Pilate. You see, the whole world is guilty for the rejection of Jesus. We had him here offered to us and we all rejected him! Right before the verse that says his own received him not (John 1:11), we read, “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not” (John 1:10). His own received him not; the world knew him not. We all rejected him and we all are guilty of his blood by our membership in the race of man! There is no New Testament justification for any sort of mistreatment of the Jews. Anyone who teaches this has rejected the New Testament!

The bible lays the deicide of Christ squarely on the Jews, not Pilate who knew Christ was innocent and Pilate therefore wanted to release Christ. But the Jews, lead by their leaders, were threatening a riot, and Pilate, being the weak politician that he was, Pilate relented to their demands to crucify Christ. You are right though that Pilate wasn’t without guilt as he should’ve stood up to the Jewish mob. And yes, since we are all sinners, we are all somewhat responsible for Christ’s sacrifice of His life for our redemption. Regardless of who was directly responsible for the death of Jesus though, those who reject Him today will be judged by Christ for their rejection of Him, and it’s a lot more than just the Jews who will have a problem with their final judgement.
I certainly don’t advocate mistreatment of the Jews or anybody else. Telling the truth about their false religion could only help the Jews, as if they continue with their false Anti-Christ religion by rejecting Christ, they will most certainly die as enemies of Christ, and they will suffer His judgement. For their own good, they need to accept Christ as their old covenant with God is no longer valid, and so it won’t save them from judgement.

Pilate asked Christ the most profound question ever asked by a pagan when he asked Christ “What is truth.” Christ stated at another time that “I am the Truth, the Way, and the Life. Christ is Truth and He always spoke the truth regardless of the consequences such as when Caiaphas demanded to know whether Christ was the Son of God before the Sanhedren and just before Caiaphas condemned Christ to death for blasphemy when Christ responded with the truth. The truth is sacred and should never be compromised with error. The truth cares not for things like “tolerance.” Truth is truth. It is what it is.

Keep in mind those who planned to kill Jesus in 11:53 were the religious leaders, not the Jews in general. (11:47-48) However, the plot of the Jewish leaders would make it difficult for Jesus to be among the general Jewish population, as those who agreed with or feared the leaders could report his whereabouts. Again, this does not imply that every single Jew was out to kill Jesus. In fact, not even all of the chief priests were united against Jesus, for the high priest believed in him. (11:49-52)
Finally, in John 19 it seems that the primary agitators for Jesus’ death (if not in fact the only ones) are the chief priests, not the Jews as a whole. The chief priests are the ones speaking in verses 6 and 15, and are the ones Pilate dealt with concerning Jesus.

Yes, the people were led by their satanic leaders when they cursed themselves by crying out to Pilate to “let His blood be on us and our children.” Until they accept Christ and renounce their Anti-Christ religion, they will remain a cursed people.
