Wow, 100% eh? Thanks for the opinion.

      Oct 08, 2014 08:08 AM

To be clear, I do expect a very nasty bear market, I just don’t think we’ll see a 20%+ decline in just a day or two. The crash of ’87 was about 22% in one day and the crash of ’29 was roughly 23% in two days. Even if we consider a drop of 10% in one day to be a crash, I do not think we will get one in the coming bear market.

I am on your side on this one, Matthew!

Speaking of a nasty bear market. I hope this finds its’ new bottom soon.

Since the plunge has been quick and it is extremely oversold on both the daily and weekly charts, I think the CDNX can turn very soon. Here’s a weekly chart with a few lines of support. The blue and green lines are Fibonacci fan lines. The red lines form the Andrew’s pitchfork, and the dashed blue line is simply a downtrend support/resistance line (support for now).

Thanks for the chart, Matthew. IMHO look for a lower low with the RSI not hitting a lower low, just for s4!ts and giggles…

I think-“I can’t He can I think I’ll let Him.”FAZ Is and will be on my radar for profit if He let’s me.He is willing! Its me who sabotages!because I think from fear at times.Like so many expressed a few days ago at others instead of inwardly. The history will guarantee repetition.Got up at 4 am to sit and ponder that in front of a sign of that truth!Changes are coming that’s the sign.watched two of four blood moon would love to have some money to see the other two.Funny how they are over the U.S.so far isn’t it!

      Oct 08, 2014 08:49 AM

You mean “blood moons” over the U.S.?

If you do, I find that to be more than just a bit thought provoking!

      Thanks man.

First one on passover this year.Second one on what is called the Jewish feast of Tabernacles. Two coming in 2015 on same exact days of feasts!NASA site has some info on them. Also a full eclipse of sun coming sometime in between the moons Darkening. These wars have a great deal to do with this stuff also. And the drift of moral stature in our country.Itmatters not Religion in my view.It matters honoring God in my picture.Or not.Think its non eventful great! As on this sight the proof is in the passage of time.AApparently it is as John said years ago.(similar any way)”U S must decrease so He may increase”I love prophecy Al as you know!John haigee has a book on all the effects and Jewish predictions of these moons and the “Effects”they are meant to usher. He did it with tutaledge of a few rabii’s.I haven’t read it but I have watched ccommentary on it.Is also another good book I hear on some prophetic events in America called the Harbonger.About Christian and Jewish similarities in this country.Hope your well and blessed! Steve.Gotta run be back latter

The Harbinger is interesting to say the least. The author and our friend Glen Downs got together a few weeks back. Glen said that he is truly an interesting man.

Google “The Harbinger” on youtube and you will be able to watch an interesting video. Worth the time by the way.

Love Rick’s commentary. Historically, deflationary environment may be bad for gold but those are in environments where China, India and Russia are much different than they are today and gold supply is relatively simple to extract from high grade sites at low cost. My bet is gold will hold its own or increase in value in a deflationary environment due to its true and perceived value in India, China, Russia and the fact that it is only getting more difficult (socially/environmentally) and expensive to extract.

I have felt that way for quite some time Mr. Irish. And, putting our money where our mouths are.

Nearly half of the Russel 2000 is already in a bear market–20% off their highs. Thus, tough sledging for small caps.

The breath of gainers in the other indexes is narrowing. Looking more and more like all that is left are large institutional high frequency traders creating volume as “market makers” moving prices to and fro–thereby sweeping money off the table trading options. Adam Smith has to be rolling over in his grave.

      Oct 08, 2014 08:32 AM

I am hoping that stories of traders making $$$$ off of the micro-craps start surfacing and getting capital back into the junior indexes. See the cdnx chart above. They have to throw traders a bone every now and then…

        Oct 08, 2014 08:59 AM

Yep, a bit on the grim side, Dan

      Oct 08, 2014 08:59 AM

Thanks bj and, yes, I would bet he is rolling over in his grave!
