“Appearing at a Boston rally for Democrat gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley on Friday, Hillary Clinton told the crowd gathered at the Park Plaza Hotel not to listen to anybody who says that “businesses create jobs.”
“Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses create jobs,” Clinton said.
“You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics,’” she continued. “That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”
“You know, one of the things my husband says when people say ‘Well, what did you bring to Washington,’ he said, ‘Well, I brought arithmetic,’” Clinton said, which elicited loud laughs from the crowd.”

I assume that she is giving all the credit for jobs to the government.
So it was a backhand slap at industry who is less than excited about deploying fresh capital into expansion and has instead taken to distributing dividends or buying back shares? Is that a reflection of Washington’s frustration with business these days? It was an amazing remark. I cannot imagine she made it by accident.

I am pretty convinced that she is another “government can solve all problems” thinker. There are getting to be more and more of them out there!

Marxism finally plays out. At one time I thought Karl Max was out to lunch but now it is exactly what he said. A post capitalist society will move to communism by choice. Lenin’s revolution theory seems only apply to poorer pre-capitalist societies. The other requirement is that the world instead of one single country should go together. Lenin is wrong again on this. The whole West plus Japan are all buying in on this.

Maybe it can be argued people already do as government has to approve permits and licenses?
Whatever the goal, people will believe it.
How about turning America into Cuba under Fidel or North Korea under its current psychopath where everyone “works” for the government.

Obama and Warren had their infamous “You didn’t build that!” speeches, and although many republican ads were made using clips of them, it ultimately didn’t matter.
People are not stupid. Rather, they are willfully ignorant.
Everyone knows that promising free stuff will not work. The CONSEQUENCES come much later.
People only care about issues when they are personally affected, and the amount that they care is proportional to the amount they are affected.
Which brings us to ebola… It will be interesting to see just how much the sheeple trust that the government is telling the truth. This time, believing lies could very well cost you your life. Is it any wonder that the NY Post is reporting that record number hospital workers are calling in sick?
