I’d like to review your newsletter. Thanks.

      Nov 06, 2014 06:24 PM

Will do—-Al will need your e-mail address since it’ll be electronic. As Al has said; your e-mail address will be protected.

    Nov 06, 2014 06:35 PM

Please send me a complimentary copy of your news letter when it becomes available. thank you.

      Nov 06, 2014 06:24 PM

      Don, see above. Doc.

      Ron
      Nov 07, 2014 07:07 AM

      Ditto for me as well….

    Nov 06, 2014 06:22 PM

    You can’t beat free.

    Nov 06, 2014 06:32 PM

Al should put the newsletter up on this site for the first few publications and then we can critique it, after that if it is any good the market will decide. As usual you are trying to be to exclusive without letting people decide, not a good business model in my eyes.

      Nov 06, 2014 06:38 PM

Bobby, like you intimate free means nothing to people who want substance.

    Nov 06, 2014 06:42 PM

Al and Doc, I’m sure pretty much everyone who spends any amount of time here would like to see the initial versions of the letter.

Asking each person individually is a very inefficient way to go about distributing it.

Do as DT has suggested, post it up top somewhere so everyone can read it at their pleasure and then after a period of time, at your discretion we can provide comments on it.

That’s my unsolicited suggestion for a smooth roll out phase of the letter.

      Nov 06, 2014 06:53 PM

Good idea—-I’m sure Al will see your comment. The newsletter will be a work in progress since we’ll constantly be taking suggestions to improve it. I believe that’s always the best way to produce an ultimate best product for your customer. We’ve had a lot of good suggestions in the past that we’re putting into content.

        Nov 06, 2014 06:04 PM

        Hi Doc,

Doc you know everyone here loves your content so I’m sure everyone wants the information.

I haven’t told you this in a while but you guys are doing an incredible job here and the content here is a real integrity based service to the greater forum. We do not all agree all the time, but that is where we derive our objectivity and power from.

I think we have all evolved into a new species called “Korelinites”.

I know everyone appreciates your hard work, so I say thank you.

        V

          Nov 06, 2014 06:10 PM

          “Korelians”

          Nov 06, 2014 06:22 PM

Vortex, thank you. I really enjoy the comments of the “Korelinites”—often I’m amazed at some of the info. I’ve gotten to know Al and Cory over time and I respect their attempts to do everything with integrity.

        Nov 06, 2014 06:10 PM

Richard, yes that is a good idea.

          Nov 06, 2014 06:14 PM

Vortex is smarter then I thought.

    Nov 06, 2014 06:52 PM

Please send me a complimentary copy of your newsletter. Thanks.

    Nov 06, 2014 06:53 PM

Al pretends that he listens to others but in the world of investing where you’re money is being gambled (played) no one wants anything other then honesty and disclosure, trying to peddle anything else won’t cut it for people who want precise information so they can manage their own portfolios. If you aren’t upfront with this information eventually any clients you may have started with will soon depart.

      Nov 06, 2014 06:01 PM

Also, if someone is paying for a newsletter they want specific stocks that are recommended by the newsletter writers with buy and sell guidelines broken up into various market categories, you must be able to do that successfully.

        Nov 06, 2014 06:17 PM

Dt; you’re absolutely correct—-we’ve been talking about that. We’ll probably start out focused on the resource sector and branch out from there. We hope to be able to bring in folks that are specialists in different areas to educate and then break sectors down—-we can then break down the financials for readers along with the technicals for potential entry points —-as I said, it will be a work in progress.

          Nov 06, 2014 06:28 PM

Doc have you, Al and Cory worked out the pricing of the letter at this point?

            Nov 06, 2014 06:51 PM

No, we haven’t but we’re going to keep it very affordable.

          Nov 06, 2014 06:32 PM

Nothing comes for free in this world including the opinions of others who are giving input, especially with the caliber of people on this site, without the posters here your show would be a bust, something that should be considered and not taken for granted, we all want to share in success but not in the form of lip service.

      Nov 06, 2014 06:24 PM

      I completely agree.

In fact, the 1st thing I care about when subscribing to anyone is, I look at their trades. And in my narrow experience, most of the time, the trades are rot w/mistakes that I myself would never make. Just me.

For instance Doc, a few days ago you said you went long TC. I’ve too been watching TC (along w/TCK and FCX) and was glad to learn the lastest co. news from you, but TA-wise it wasn’t on a buy signal for me, so when you bought it I watched TC move w/keen interest. Since then it has in fact declined further, and I’m glad I didn’t buy yet. Are you still holding? What was your buy signal? What was (or will be) your sell signal? This kind of info is the ONLY kind of info that would lead me to subscribe to a newsletter. Again just me.

I wish you much success. The more real you make it, the better it will be.

        Nov 06, 2014 06:56 PM

Bill, I sold my TC today. The reason I purchased it was because the price was stabilizing and was starting to trade sideways. When it broke down today , I sold my position since it appears like the last leg down is about to commence. In fact, they’re reporting their earnings on November 11. As I’ve said in the past, I’ll take a position searching for the bottom and if it breaks down, I won’t stay around. However, having said that, if the earnings report shows promise, I’ll purchase TC at a lower price again. Doc.

        Nov 06, 2014 06:20 PM

Bill, I might add that I’m watching TCK and FCX—-TCK looks like it’s headed back to 5 and I might take a position in FCX at 25 since there’s pretty good support—-however, if it would compromise that, I would move to the sidelines again. However, if the momentum indicators reveal the odds are it’ll break 25, then I won’t take a position—also, another reason I won’t is if the majority of resource stocks look like they’re still in the process of breaking down for awhile the odds are FCX won’t be spared and the baby will go out with the bath water. One of the things I want to accomplish on our newsletter is a site like this where the subscribers and myself at certain times can converse continually on positions regarding the fundamental info that appears and the technicals. That way a subscriber after the give and take can make an informed decision about whether they want to purchase, hold, or sell. Hopefully, I’ll be able to put up charts with comments about my thoughts and then we can dialogue.

    Nov 06, 2014 06:36 PM

Uh, let me pls add some clarification. No one, including and esp. myself, makes winning trades every time. But one of the key marks of a great trader is, if the market turns against them, they quickly get out. Quickly.

In my book, Gary is like that. I’m not 100% understanding nor believing in cycles, but when he goes in hard, he has a clear idea of when to get out if things go south, and he notifies his subs and executes the trade. I like that.

      Nov 06, 2014 06:02 PM

I can’t agree more with you—-we’re experiencing the last catharsis of a lot of these PM stocks and when they bottom and we enter what I expect will be a possible long term trading range for many of them, I’ll take a position in many of them that I’ll hold long term. In fact, one of the rare PM stocks I currently own came out with their 3rd quarter earnings today and the stock out of the gate jumped about 15%. I purchased the stock weeks ago at about $1.00-$1.30 and it doubled. It’s pulled back since then but I consider it a long term hold unless it begins to break major moving averages and the fundamentals change. However, the company is in a strong position and is actually exploring further for other veins of ore.

    Goodbye!

    Nov 06, 2014 06:02 PM

Al you said you wanted to wait before you buy silver.

I think you will be waiting a year or two.

Silver is on its way to $4
I’ve been saying this for months, nothing has changed.

No one needs silver in a deflationary no demand world.

Silver will go back down to $4 to complete the round trip journey.

Here me – inflation will not save commodities.

Even if we get hyper inflation there won’t be any demand for commodities.

    It’s over, it’s been over.

If you were in stocks you hit the lottery.

Commodities are dead no matter what we get deflation or inflation

      Nov 06, 2014 06:08 PM

Silver is not like oil or wheat, it is like gold and it is money. It’s industrial uses are merely coincidental. Now since four dollars per ounce for silver is absolutely insanely cheap why not go for twenty five cents per ounce? Why not go all the way off the deep end? Bye the way if we are going that low let’s drop real estate prices to a few ounces of silver just to keep things proportional. I don’t know about you but I don’t feel like catering to the insanity of manipulated markets run by people who are out of touch.

    Nov 06, 2014 06:30 PM

I am not going to 25 cents for a reason.

I am going to $4 because that is what the bull market started at.

For right or wrong, unfortunately people are buying silver for its industrial use.
    Not me.
But the fact is the vast majority of people are.
To get to the point where silver is money again would be take a complete breakdown in society.

    We won’t get there.

Silver goes,to $4 to complete the round trip

    Nov 06, 2014 06:12 PM

    Gold getting slaughtered tonight.

They clearly want to take gold all the way down and have the power to do it.

    They are sweeping the table

    Nov 06, 2014 06:19 PM

Tomorrow morning gold could be down $50 easy

    Nov 06, 2014 06:01 PM

We should consider selling mining stocks except the strongest few. It appears that PTB do not care about long term and even survival of the miners. They will take the thing to the end. I am sure they are doing it with real metal.

    Nov 06, 2014 06:29 PM

Gold is controlled in all fronts including media misinformation about Chinese demand

    Nov 07, 2014 07:25 AM

Claude Resources is a good buy for any rebound in Gold.

      Nov 07, 2014 07:07 AM

Biggus, thanks for bringing up Claude—-they appeared to do well on their 3rd quarter financial report and their technicals (especially weekly charts) look promising to me. I had never heard of the company until you mentioned it. Thanks again.

    Nov 07, 2014 07:44 AM

Doc…i searched last year for producing juniors that had been beaten down bid time but with a lot of potential. I came up with Claude and Lake Shore Gold. Both have cut costs and producing great results recently. Both will do very well. I also bought into Eagle Hill which brought me to this site……Down on Eagle HIll but i still believe they will be a good buy next year after they release their PFS.

    Nov 07, 2014 07:53 AM

I read an hour ago that 230k new jobs was expected. They were short of this number at 214k, gold has popped and the general market is lower…..however the headlines are spinning that the jobs report was good.?

      Nov 07, 2014 07:04 AM

What do you want the media to say? That the numbers are bad? We’re in a recovery, dammit. And no pesky number is going to burst our bubble. Continue buying the dip. Grandma Yellen has your back.

    Nov 07, 2014 07:01 AM

    biggus,

Don’t fall for the trap! If im correct on my call all gaps are being currently filled. Hui just filled its 160 gap as well as my miners i have. I suspect a reversal anytime soon. We have unfinished business to take care of at lower prices. Im in line with doc’s 3-4 weeks more.

    Nov 07, 2014 07:02 AM

Where is the bird man? Im wondering if he still holds promise to his 968 call?

    Nov 07, 2014 07:10 AM

Glen…would like a few trading days up. After that i don’t mind playing the trade down.MA hinted at a rebound in silver in his blog today…….

      Nov 07, 2014 07:55 AM

Biggus, thanks again for the info on Lake Shore Gold. I’ll wait for a lower price and then am interested in purchasing. I’ll let you in on my personal #1 gold stock currently—-purchased at a low price and I’ve seen no better fundamentals or technicals—-of course things could change—-Richmont (RIC). Based on the 2 last reporting quarters and if you take out free cash flow earnings and apply adjusted earnings, the company on a pro rated basis is earning about $.40/share and is at a price of $2.27. That’s a PE of close to 6. Even as gold prices move lower, the company is at this point in time in a good position. Of course, this is not investment advice.

        Nov 07, 2014 07:06 AM

Richard I think we get a few days up like biggus says to fill gaps and oversold conditions and then head back down next week?

          Nov 07, 2014 07:12 AM

Hopefully we get a rally. I want to liquate a smaller stock I lost track of. Then I can keep loading the physical PM trusts when price comes down.

          Nov 07, 2014 07:37 AM

We could get up to about $1200.00 on this run if we’re lucky. I think this is one big short covering rally currently. Until I see confirmation on the weekly charts, I’m not going to get too excited about this rally.

            Nov 07, 2014 07:48 AM

            Richard,

same here im selling into this rally.

    Nov 07, 2014 07:20 AM

    biggus,

good luck with your trades 🙂

    Nov 07, 2014 07:31 AM

    Gary,

Im no expert but it sure looks like we got that swing low in gold and miners today. So if this holds true, i believe this is a daily cycle low that starting on wednesday’s low? So we are now on day 3. But I believe this is not the bigger Intermediate cycle low. Is this correct?

      Nov 07, 2014 07:39 AM

gary i meant yesterdays swing low

    Nov 07, 2014 07:32 AM

    Rick,

What pivot number do you have gold targeting on its way up?
