    WOW! Great interview. Thanks!

      Mar 10, 2015 10:48 PM

      Thanks Jody D!

    Mar 10, 2015 10:22 PM

Al, said recently that Hillary would be the next President, but Al also said about 3 months ago that Jeb Bush wouldn’t be the Republican candidate, I just don’t know what is happening here, other then to say stay tuned, I don’t expect to see any changes in Washington no matter what happens. It will be one or the other.

      Mar 10, 2015 10:31 PM

The two headed snake……………….BILL AND HILLY……..

      Mar 10, 2015 10:51 PM

At this moment in time Machine Gun, I will stick with that. Could and probably will change. Heck my friend, all this nonsense is getting above me!

    Mar 10, 2015 10:29 PM

With congress approval rating at 9%….I would give her about a 9% approval rating , a negative 9%.

      Mar 10, 2015 10:30 PM

The same survey showed Satan with a 12% approval rating.

      Mar 10, 2015 10:32 PM

Jerry, you and I know that polls this far in advance are meaningless. The propaganda machine will and can change everything, remember Joseph Goebbels.

        Mar 10, 2015 10:35 PM

I AGREE, the machine is looking only for a popular person to run, one that the people THINK THEY HAVE SELECTED…..

          Mar 10, 2015 10:54 PM

Probably, but wouldn’t it be great if that were not the case! Let’s all pray!

          Mar 10, 2015 10:42 PM

Look, all presidents and their cabinets are picked from the political clubs: The Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission are the two big ones (almost all the politicians of note for the last 30 years have come from these two David Rockefeller-created clubs. There there is the Bohemian grove with Nixon and Reagan and the Bushes wearing hooded robes in California in front of a giant Owl idol. Then you got the club of Skull and Bones that puts cronies into political positions, like when both Bush vs John Kerry were both prior members and running against each other for president. Thats the same with Papa Bush and Prescott Bush (Gramps). They don’t get rid of these people, they just redeploy them. Look at John Kerry now replacing a Clinton. The candidates come from cute and sinister political clicks, and with the exception of Ron Paul and a few rogue politicians, they are all in bed together.

        Mar 10, 2015 10:52 PM

        Of course you are correct!

    Some Characteristics Of Fascism

Powerful and Continuing Nationalism – Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights – Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of “need.” The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause – The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

Supremacy of the Military – Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

Controlled Mass Media – Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

. Obsession with National Security – Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

Corporate Power is Protected – The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

. Labor Power is Suppressed – Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

Obsession with Crime and Punishment – Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption – Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

. Fraudulent Elections – Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

They ever going to count those Ron Paul votes?

    Mar 10, 2015 10:43 PM

if Hilary decides to run for President……I really do think the public will vote her in…..we experimented with a black president………..now I think the public will experiment with a woman president……….and I think they will give the job to Hilary……

      Mar 10, 2015 10:46 PM

      Lance,

I don’t disagree. Look what a great job our current president has done. The country is now totally divided Aren’ t you glad!

    Mar 10, 2015 10:45 PM

Well, I always have time for Bob Moriarty and hearing his voice reminds me that this is the Korelin Economics Report, not the Koreleon Economics Report. 🙂

I didn’t have the time or the stomach to watch the Shillary press conference or whatever it was. I didn’t even know it was happening.

As far as Shillary is concerned she is about as power hungry as they come.

She will say anything, do anything and step on anyone to become Prez.

      Mar 10, 2015 10:47 PM

      Completely agree, Eddie!

    Mar 10, 2015 10:45 PM

Quit calling corrupt oligarchies Fascist! Instead call them mafias because that is what they are.

      Mar 10, 2015 10:49 PM

      Completely agree, Steven!

In light of the recent donation from Saudi Arabia to the Clinton Foundation, I bet Hillary was doing “diplomacy” AND fund-raising at the same time……and there’s emails to prove it.

      Mar 10, 2015 10:41 PM

You know she is working everyone for cash…….legal and other wise………, I knew she was trouble when she said……..”I am going to stand by my man”, at the very beginning.

        Mar 10, 2015 10:43 PM

Wonder if anyone is going to bring up the laundry list of dead people they have been associated with since being GOVN OF Ark….

        Interesting, thanks bb

        Mar 11, 2015 11:31 AM

Hard to believe the President engaged in that activity in the White House. More than just a little disappoint to me and, I would guess, everyone in our “family”!

      Mar 10, 2015 10:03 PM

      Good point CFS.

As often, Bob made some spot on comments. And fwiw, I totally concur with the point about end of empires.

In imaginary terms, if the head is sick… how can the rest of the body be healthy? It applies to any organization, and to any country.

As an outsider, I have to say one things, and with a smile though….
How can so many smart US citizens “fight” over the Democrats/Republican partisanship issue ?
To me, quite frankly, it’s pointless as I believe, fwiw, that neither camp will do or does a better job than the other because of:
    1) the massive incompetence of most (not all) elected officials within the ranks of both parties
    2) the growing tendency of the gvt to grow larger (a supreme socialist disease that doesn’t say its name) and restricting individual freedoms/rights (a typical facist diseases)
    3) the overall lack of willingness of the political class to tackle real issues such as debt and entitlements (a task kindly transferred to the Fed in the US and to the ECB in Europe)
    4) education is still a(n expensive) joke so most citizens “don’t get” what’s going on (although I suspect more and more are waking-up)
    5) the arms/defense conglomerate is still keeping the upper hand – something which will imho slowly lose its influence as the US global military leadership just slowly fades away.

    My 2cts.

You know when a politician say’s they do not choose to run for President that it is done with a devious meaning, meanwhile behind the scenes they are efficiently corralling delegates. But the public is only thinking of owning the latest gadget from apple, “The Dick Tracy watch. Wow, what a cynic or am I a realist.

    Mar 11, 2015 11:54 AM

Absolutely one of, if not the best interviews that Greg Hunter has ever had on his site in my opinion.

Warren Pollock has been a man I have followed for a number of years. He is one of the best minds anywhere. Pollock is a deep thinker on a vast scale that gauges the big picture macro world view as well as just about anyone.

If you want to hear the unbridled truth about what humans have been reduced too, and more specifically what American’s have effectively become, he has two great names for them in his two tier breakdown.

Take 30 minute out of your day and become enlightened to the truth from a man that has worked in the belly of the beast.

    http://usawatchdog.com/we-are-headed-for-war-because-there-is-no-truth-warren-pollock/

      Mar 11, 2015 11:08 PM

      Vortex,

Sorry but I personally did not get much out of this interview. Probably because some of the things talked about were not of interest to me and probably because sometimes I had a hard time following what Warren Pollock was saying. I do like most of Greg Hunter’s guests but I really do not like Greg Hunter. He sometimes reminds me of Russ Limbaugh or Alex Jones.

      Mar 11, 2015 11:14 PM

V…….I did catch Warren today………Message…GET OUT OF THE SYSTEM…. and stop believing all that is begin spoon feed to the sheeple , work slave….or taragoochee(sp)

        Mar 11, 2015 11:15 PM

V…I would have to agree, that it was one of the best

          Mar 11, 2015 11:31 PM

I also, think, Gregg was having a hard time keeping up with Warren. I like when Warren mentioned and referred to Fitt’s idea.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:25 PM

            Jerry,

Catherine Fitts is one guest that I agree with in general. Very sound thinking. I do not believe in the dollar going poof! Bonds going poof! Stocks going poof! Gold and silver going to the moon! All in just a few hours or days. I believe more in the slow burn. I get the sense lately that Greg pretty much believes that the financial system will blow up in September like many people do. Too many people in fact.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:13 PM

            JMiller..
Thanks for the reply. I think that you have some sound thinking, concerning the dollar, bonds, stocks and gold and silver. Fitts does mention the slow burn, so your thoughts seem to be in line with hers.

    Mar 11, 2015 11:12 AM

    Come on Mark…….
    Franky said the following.
The collapse is coming, Stop looking at the worthless TV, Stop dreaming the euro has dropped like a rock, and fiat currency is worthless. Those who believe in fiat are part of the mass insanity, You will see that I am correct. The number which are printed as representing fact are a bunch of crap.

Suddenly the blind will see, and things are going to explode,…So, you should purchase items of value,…Like wine, silver, copper, land, art, furniture and good food. Franky, I always figured you were pulling our chain. Good laughs man!

      Mar 11, 2015 11:08 AM

Jerry, we all know how much debt is out there, but think of how much more debt there will be if the market crashes; it will be debt on debt followed by tax on tax. When the road to riches is revealed for what it is, a mirage, don’t you think you should add buying shares in funeral homes as a store of value. The undertaker will have a field day. DT

        Mar 11, 2015 11:42 AM

DT…in the end, the funeral homes will have to sell only paper caskets.

          Mar 11, 2015 11:44 PM

Have they not gone to plastics and cardboard already?

      Mar 11, 2015 11:20 AM

It’s not going to crash. The loonie has though.

You are always trying to invest using a rear view mirror.

          Mar 11, 2015 11:47 AM

Why are you still pushing resources in the middle of a collapse? You got it completely wrong Bob.

The US is just changing. There’s no honest government anywhere. We are sitting on one of the best places to be.

      Mar 11, 2015 11:08 AM

CNSNews.com) — The U.S. has a $210 trillion “fiscal gap” and “may well be in worse fiscal shape than any developed country, including Greece,” Boston University economist Laurence Kotlikoff told members of the Senate Budget Committee in written and oral testimony on Feb. 25.
“The first point I want to get across is that our nation is broke,” Kotlikoff testified. “Our nation’s broke, and it’s not broke in 75 years or 50 years or 25 years or 10 years. It’s broke today.

        Mar 11, 2015 11:33 AM

Empire of debt can go on for a long long time.
The manager I know runs $200mil. Was moving most investments to the U.S.
He predicted the dollar move and the oil splatter. US is the best place to be and he has the fundamentals down better then anyone. Some need just don’t tell the whole story.

          Mar 11, 2015 11:36 AM

This defies logic. People have gone mad and no longer think. The consequence of mad behavior is severe, might be end of empire.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:28 AM

Houses are way past a million in Vancouver..and still going up…If you want to invest on logic you are TOAST. There a couple manages on planet earth that can sift through the data and actually have a shot at investing wisely. Being contrarion is just a piece of what you need to know…Because something like the dollar has had a big move doesn’t mean it going to blow up. Now the US housing situation years ago was zero money down with street people buying that’s an obvious sign…There 150,000 billionaires in China and countless millionaires and Vancouver is a prim destination. Doug Casey said SELL Van years ago…LOL Ya go ahead and short it…Ya short the dollar too!

            Mar 11, 2015 11:41 AM

There are not 150,000 billionaires in China. You made that up.

There may be 150,000 millionaires in China but there is a lot of difference between a million and a billion.

Learn to question what you are told.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:49 AM

Just like I said, the system is getting mad. If God wants to destroy someone, make him mad first.

Housing off course is going up because of money printing. That is not defying logic. It is logical. It is the borrow and derivatives which is going exponential. If you want to invest based on moral hazard, 2000 and 2008 are example how you can lose big. US will blow itself up like a frog.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:50 AM

Was a documentary…Guess they made it up…The point being you can be sliced and diced being a contrarian….
Oh I question everything….Especially gold sellers.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:54 AM

Lawrence I think your completely wrong on why house was going up. It was in a uptrend and then the Banks, regulators and no money down policy with a low interest rate created a massive bubble. Appraisers got on board too. It was criminal……Canada is over price but does not have a bubble..

            Mar 11, 2015 11:57 AM

This is what I said, effect of money printing. Low rate itself is money printing. It expands the money supply.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:08 AM

Low interest rates expand money supply? The available credit does…Hell issuing bonds does I guess but that’s how the modern cities are built….Remember the empty city’s of China and it was all going to blow up. The system is huge and consumer power keeps chugging even if it slows…Burning fuel and eating 🙂
The Pacific Northwest is doing WELL. Ive been all over lately…
Surprises will be to the upside for the US…

            Mar 11, 2015 11:20 PM

I don’t know why you argue with me since we are talking about the same thing.

One of the major way BOC expands the money supply is to buy out mortgages from Canadian home buyers. Banks with issue mortgage to home buyers and BOC issues the money. The money flows into the system though the reception of the payments by the builders and sellers. Lower the interest rate, there will be more home buyers and more money is released.

Due to this fact, Canadian housing market is inflated. I am sure it will NOT pop soon. That is why I bought several houses. It is not due to Chinese buying since a lot of city Chinese millionaires never go are also rising. Chinese buying may impact BC lower mainland.

At same time, corporations and peoples will borrow more money from banks which in return borrow from BOC. This is the traditional way of increasing money supply.

For all this processes, base money supply is expanded on double digit in Canada even we don’t have QE.

US is also issue a lot of money, however, FED will release the money to the rich banks and they gamble on assets. That is why all assets go up in the last few years. I still prefer Canadian way if I am forced to choose since people does see the money. And in US way, people will have to borrow deep into debt just to consume. We at least have house to show.

What I am saying is same thing with you. I am saying why and you are saying how.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:58 PM

People keep talking empty cities in China. I challenge people to give me the name of two empty cities

            Mar 11, 2015 11:40 PM

Because there’s no printing press running.
There were empty to a large degree. If you build it they will come and have.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:43 PM

You want more? There are more Lawrence.

Geez, hangzhou is the most crowded city in southern China, capital of Zhenjiang province, dongguan is also a densely populated, very prosperous city. Most the textile export comes from there. There are several cities in the west in the list where population is sparse anyway. The new districts are extension of current cities, many cities do that because cities have no room. They are brand new so they usually takes several years before at least part are built. I went to one in 2010 near suzhou and it was mostly empty when I went and fully occupied in a few years. Ordos is in Inner Mongolia province which IS an empty city because developers did not realize coal usage is dwindling. They were preparing for expansion in a no man’s land. It is the only empty cities I can see. I will do some research on the rest. There is a duplication as well. The ones you listed as new district are around major cities. Where did you get this list. It seems to put densely populated cities into empty city list.

Also kangbashi and Ordos is the same thing , it is the city and Ordos is the region. It is where chenggis khan was buried.

Bayannao’er is also in Inner Mongolia province with a population of 1.7 million

            Mar 11, 2015 11:36 PM

Erenhot is also in Inner Mongolian, a small city of ~600 year history. Population over 70k. I heard about it when I was little. It is more a rail transportation connection city. It is definitely not empty city.

TianDuCheng is in between Shanghai and HangZhou, two major cities in Southern China. It was intended to be a tourist town or theme park to satisfy people’s desire to travel to Europe. The buildings were Paris style including Eilfel tower. International investment were raised to build this city park. Unfortunately it stopped due to the arrest of its founder, which results in the lack of follow through funding. It is supposed to be done in 2015. Now only 2000 people live in this 50K capacity half city. However, due to its extremely good location and its unique idea, I don’t expect it remain empty for too long.

            http://tieba.baidu.com/p/2500082014

I guess this qualify as an empty city for now.

            Mar 11, 2015 11:09 PM

Xilin Gol 锡林郭勒 is in Inner Mongolia where Chengis Khan was born. I cannot find empty city information since it is not a city. It is a large region populated by about one million people. It is the grassland to raise cattle. For its special historic reason, United Nation has named it the 4th historic site in China. It is now a tourist area. It is not a city.

This is the summary of all the places you quoted. KangBaShi in Ordos might stay as ghost town forever, Others are mis-quoted, duplicate or place not finished yet. Considering what I saw with previous example, these empty cities will be populated as other ones. China is too tight on land. It might be slower than other areas since they tend to be expensive and other facilities and schools are needed.

Erenhot is also in in Mongolian, a city of 600 year history. Population over 70k. I heard about it when I was little. It is more rail transportation connection city. It is definitely not empty city and it is quite famous in China for some reason.

Politicians see people as resources. Somewhat like cattle and many as dumb. Bankers and politians decide who’s getting in. As long as we keep going to Walmart and the banks that’s how it’s going to be.

Spell check Jerry. When the word has red lines under it you just click on it and make the correction. Easy as snap. Maybe your spell check is turned off though and you don’t see the lines.
