Welcome!

Bill O’Reilly and Donald Trump

Big Al
August 26, 2015

What is your opinion? Watch by clicking here.

I thought that his response on the questions regarding the Middle East left a bit to be desired. But, his demeanor and the initial portion of the interview (which happened in 2011) showed me that he will be a force to be reckoned with.

Would like to hear all of your opinions.

You Reilly expect me to watch 1/2 hour of Billy-Bob talking over another interview-ee?

    Thanks, but no thanks!

      Aug 26, 2015 26:24 PM

      Irwin,

Normally I would agree with you completely. In this case, Billy-Bob was not able to do that, try as he might!

That was one of the things that impressed me. Trump handled him very well.

        Aug 26, 2015 26:33 PM

That was a great interview!!! Thanks for the link. It is clear that Donald Trump has been thinking about these issues for a long time.

Donald Trump for President 2016 !!!

          Aug 26, 2015 26:44 PM

I think that up to this point I have underestimated him. And I believe I was wrong!

        Aug 26, 2015 26:34 PM

        Point one (1) for Trump!

          Aug 26, 2015 26:45 PM

          Pleasure, I too enjoyed it.

          Aug 26, 2015 26:45 PM

          Thanks for watching Irwin.

Don’t you guys think it’s a little bit hypocritical that a U.S. citizen would knock another country for manipulating ANY market?
China is supposed to do only what’s in the interest of the U.S.? Of course not and he knows it. He’s just doing what politicians do to redirect blame for messes THEY cause.

      Aug 26, 2015 26:36 PM

Be open minded and try watching. A lot of issues were covered. And it was quite enjoyable back and forth conversation.

      Thanks Al !

        Matthew!
        Right again!!

    Something to brighten your day.

      Aug 26, 2015 26:11 PM

Hillary is NOT going to jail … this too is not in the new age cards.

    Aug 26, 2015 26:10 PM

Trump will NEVER win – it is not in the cards. My money is on Hillary or Biden (both are fully invested in the new age agenda in my opinion. I am not saying that da Trumpster isn’t involved (I believe he is), but it will be a democrat who wins for an assortment of reasons.

      Aug 26, 2015 26:45 PM

Kind of funny but certainly not realistic, Eddie

      Aug 26, 2015 26:46 PM

I am not so sure at this point.

    Aug 26, 2015 26:14 PM

I have been suggesting for a long time that America needs a man to be President who understands how business works, and now you have him and he makes real common sense when you listen to his proposals. DT

      Aug 26, 2015 26:22 PM

What’s more important to the American economy then the ultimate consumer, who understands that more than a businessman. Create jobs, put real money into peoples pockets and let their purchases decide what is best for the market.

        Aug 26, 2015 26:32 PM

In fact Donald Trump embodies both characteristics of a good businessman and a great salesman, what a haymaker. DT

      Aug 26, 2015 26:46 PM

      Agreed, DT

      Aug 27, 2015 27:42 AM

Many of his proposals do make sense DT.

    Aug 26, 2015 26:15 PM

It’s very apparent why trump is involved, puts Clinton over the top. They are buddies from way back.

      Aug 26, 2015 26:31 PM

We agree! I’ve pointed out the same several times but people think what they want to think regardless of the evidence.

      Aug 26, 2015 26:48 PM

That is currently the rumor. I think he is more of a man than that. I hope I am not wrong.

      Aug 27, 2015 27:43 AM

I have had this particular conversation with a lot of people. And, I admit it is a possibility, but I still kind of doubt that it is reality.

Anger, arrogance and narcisism do not a president make. The guy is not intelligent by any stretch of the imagination. And please, no retorts about how wealthy he is. I don’t think he knows or understands very much more than real estate. In a position of power he would do more damage than a bull in a china shop. He is only tapping into the public’s anger at the state of affairs in the US. People have good reason to be angry but this clown won’t help them.

      Aug 27, 2015 27:45 AM

You do make an interesting and thought provoking point, Harry.

      Aug 27, 2015 27:50 AM

Well said, Harry. He is tapping into some of the people’s concerns but let’s hope he never gets the chance to implement some of his ‘solutions’.

    Aug 27, 2015 27:10 AM

Harry, you don’t like Trump, and you say people are angry at the state of affairs in The US, obviously Trump see’s this and he can elucidated it; so what is your constructive alternative? I’m waiting to find out. DT

      GH
      Aug 27, 2015 27:01 AM

Maybe there is no constructive alternative, DT. At what point did the Romans stop having constructive alternatives?

I see no reason to believe that Americans have had a choice of a president who would actually do them any good since….I don’t know when.

        Aug 27, 2015 27:32 AM

GH, The Romans stopped progressing because their leaders were entrenched in a corrupt system that couldn’t change but Rome lasted a thousand years, America is still young. I don’t think America has reached that point yet, you’ve had many great leaders in the recent past 100 years, I believe things can and will be turned around. DT

          GH
          Aug 27, 2015 27:56 AM

I hope you’re right, but have my reservations. I guess it comes down to whether or not we’re in the situation you describe “entrenched in a corrupt system that couldn’t change”.

I wonder how relevant the Roman time scale is to modern times. Everything is much quicker today.

            Aug 27, 2015 27:59 AM

            GH, Good point! DT

            Aug 27, 2015 27:56 AM

GH as DT said, you make a good point.

An attitude change in American society could result in a positive change. It is certainly possible; however, I would maintain that with our current demographics it is definitely a long shot.

            Aug 27, 2015 27:27 AM

Excellent point GH……concerning the quicker time

          Aug 27, 2015 27:53 AM

Thanks DT. I certainly hope that you are right.

I think the problem is deeper than just the choice of President. The brilliance of the Founding Fathers was to distribute the power between the 3 branches of Government. However, there is now a polarization between the parties that manifests as non-cooperation. This combined with the corrupt greed of so many politicians is leading to the decay of the country. I am sure the country will muddle on. I am not sure it can be truly great again. I am seriously worried about the reversibility of the decline.

          Aug 27, 2015 27:57 AM

Of course, many of us are, Professor.

        Aug 27, 2015 27:52 AM

Probably been at least 30 -40 years.

    Aug 27, 2015 27:58 AM

The morals have to change before it is turned around……….Electing a leader, who, pretends to have morals may be just further problems ahead………..jmo

      Aug 27, 2015 27:58 AM

Totally agree with you on this one, Mr. Moscow.

        Aug 27, 2015 27:58 AM

After the last 2 terms of B.O., Trump would be easy to swallow.

    Aug 27, 2015 27:52 PM

It is my opinion that this country needs someone as the POTUS that has shown they can do something besides BS the American people. If that something is making money, then I believe this country could use some extra given its current debt. I for one am tired of politicians all bark and no bite. Unless he does or threatens to do something immoral or illegal, he’s got my vote.
